- Founded in august 1983 at Melun in France.- Goal : to promote and to distribute cultural facts by means of image and sound, to produce new musics, electro-acoustics, minimalists, ambient, electro, etc.- From 1983 to 1989, 56 tapes were produced (bands and musicians from France, Usa, Norway, Belgium, England, Italy and Spain).- In 1989, there is a restructure of Fraction Studio, mainly producing the french band No Unauthorized, M.Nomized. But also Kora and The Golozos.- In 1990, creation of a parallel label to Fraction Studio: Minimart Production. This label's main goal is to collect graphic works (paintings, photographies, poems, collages, etc.) from all countries without any distinction. All these works are archeived. Minimart Production also exchanges works with other artists. These exchanges have allowed artist M.Nomized to be able to put out a show of paintings and collages.
