The Veil is Torn: Access Granted (Blood is Greater – Week 3)

In this encouraging message, Pastor Josh Cooke explores the powerful truth that we no longer have to live separated from God. Using the historical context of the Bible, he explains how a thick curtain or "veil" once separated people from God’s holy presence in the temple to protect them from the overwhelming intensity of His glory. However, the moment Jesus died on the cross, that veil was torn from top to bottom. This signifies that the barrier is gone and "access is granted" to everyone. We are invited to move past "religion"—the exhausting cycle of trying to be "good enough" or following rules to earn God's approval—and instead enjoy a real, daily relationship with Him. By letting go of our own "masks" and guilt, we can experience God's tangible peace and transformation in our everyday lives. Scripture References Matthew 27:50-51 Exodus 26:31-33 Hebrews 10:19-22 2 Corinthians 3:18 Like what you hear? This is your Last Supper (Blood is Greater – Week 2)

In this message, Pastor Josh Cooke explores the deep meaning behind Jesus being called the "Lamb of God" and why it matters for us today. Drawing parallels between the first Passover in Egypt and the Last Supper, he highlights how God's plan has always been about setting people free from things that hold them back. He shares three key realisations: we are protected and covered by God’s love , we need to "feed" our souls regularly to avoid feeling empty or burnt out , and there is more than enough grace to go around for us and our neighbours. With a sense of urgency, the message encourages us to stop "reclining" and start actively walking into the freedom and new beginnings available to us right now. Scripture References John 1:29 Exodus 12:4-11 Revelation 19:13 Mark 14:18 Like what you hear? If you feel that what you have heard is for you, and you'd like to be involved, then we would love to hear from you. The Way of the Cross (Blood is Greater – Week 1)

In this message, we dive into what it truly means to follow the "Way of the Cross". By looking at the historical reality of the cross, we see it wasn't just a symbol but a place of deep sacrifice where Jesus dealt with sin and pain to give us a fresh start. We explore how choosing to put aside our own selfish desires and "crucify the flesh" leads us to a life of genuine joy and resilience. Whether you are just "coming to see" what faith is about or you are ready to fully commit, there is an invitation to experience the glory that comes after the struggle. Discover how embracing this path brings a resurrected life that the world simply cannot offer. Scripture References Luke 9:21-25 Galatians 2:20 Revelation 5:5-6 Revelation 5:11-12 2 Corinthians 3:18 Romans 8:17 Like what you hear? If you feel that what you have heard is for you, and you'd like to be involved, then we would love to hear from you. A Lesson in Missing the Point (Circle Makers – Week 3)

Many of us spend our lives waiting for a "sign" or a big breakthrough, often missing the fact that the solution is already standing right in front of us. This talk explores how our perspective changes when we stop focusing on what we want God to do and start focusing on who He is. By looking at the life of Peter, we see that true authority in prayer doesn't come from demanding miracles, but from a personal revelation of the Messiah. When we anchor our lives in this truth, anxiety about the future fades away. Whether you are facing a difficult season or just looking for a fresh start, discover how to shift your posture from a place of defeat to one of victory by fixing your eyes on the One who has already overcome. Scripture References Matthew 16:1-4 Matthew 16:15-16 Matthew 16:19 Genesis 3:15 Isaiah 9:6 Isaiah 11:1-5 Isaiah 61:1-3 Isaiah 53:1-7 Jeremiah 31:31 Daniel 7:13-14 Matthew 6:25-27 Like what you hear? Just Keep Knocking (Circle Makers – Week 2)

Have you ever felt like you’re standing outside in the rain, waiting for a breakthrough that just won't come? Many of us stop praying because we don't see results on our timeline, but we are encouraged to keep going. This message explores "supplication" prayer, or how to "build a case" in prayer with persistence and confidence. Using the example of Nehemiah, we learn that effective prayer starts with remembering who God is, taking ownership of our own mistakes, and trusting that God is responsible for the big ideas He puts in our hearts. Whether you are facing a personal crisis or looking for a fresh start, learn how to draw a "circle" around your specific needs and stay persistent until the breakthrough happens. Scripture References Matthew 7:7-8 1 Timothy 2:1 Luke 18:4-7 Nehemiah 1:3-11 Like what you hear? If you feel that what you have heard is for you, and you'd like to be involved, then we would love to hear from you. Fasting for a breakthrough (Circle Makers – Week 1)

In this encouraging message, we kick off a new series called "Circle Makers". We explore the powerful idea of praying bold, specific prayers and drawing "prayer circles" around our biggest dreams and toughest fears. Just as a man named Honi prayed for rain during a severe drought in ancient Israel, we are reminded that God responds when we approach Him with persistence and faith. As we begin ten days of prayer and fasting, we are invited to identify the areas in our lives where we need a breakthrough. Whether you are looking for restoration, wisdom for the future, or strength for a personal battle, this is a time to prioritise the presence of Jesus. Let’s lean in together, believing for a year of favour and fresh vision. Scripture References 2 Samuel 5:17-25 Ezra 8:21-23 Acts 9:9-18 Daniel 10:1-3 Like what you hear? If you feel that what you have heard is for you, and you'd like to be involved, then we would love to hear from you. Global Vision Sunday

Our Senior Global Pastor, Gary Snowzell shares God’s heart and direction for the year ahead across our Freedom Church movement. This message declares that this year is a year of restoration—a season where God rebuilds, renews, and restores what has been broken, lost, or weary. Pastor Gary unpacks the vision for our church and encourages us to trust God’s timing, walk in faith, and believe for restoration in every area of life—spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Like what you hear? If you feel that what you have heard is for you, and you'd like to be involved, then we would love to hear from you. Future Sunday 2026

What an incredible Future Sunday! An opportunity for us to take a moment to celebrate the amazing growth and generosity of 2025, with details of how the church received income, and how we utilised that income in 2025. We then moved on to look ahead to the exciting vision for 2026. The heart of our church this year is simple: leading people to discover Jesus and experience the fullness of life in Him. Drawing from the story of Peter and John in Acts, we explored the "power of one"—the idea that our community is built one person at a time by stopping to care for those right in front of us. Whether you’re facing a tough season or looking for fresh purpose, there is a "one day" moment waiting for you to experience the hope and peace that only Jesus provides. Scripture References Proverbs 29:18 John 10:10 Romans 8:17 Acts 3:1-10 Like what you hear? If you feel that what you have heard is for you, and you'd like to be involved, then we would love to hear from you. Why You Should be in a Small Group (How to Win in 2026 – Week 3)

Life isn't meant to be lived alone. This message explores why connecting with a small community is vital for your personal growth and well-being. Using the story of a man whose friends literally carried him to help, we see how having people in your corner can change everything. Whether you are looking to get to know God better, want to see positive changes in your life, or simply need a hand during a tough week, being part of a group provides the support and accountability we all need. Discover how moving from "rows" on a Sunday to "circles" during the week can help you find your purpose and live a more fulfilled life. One of the best ways to be in a smaller group is to join one of our Community Groups. Why not sign up today? Click here to join a Community Group. Scripture References Mark 2:1-5 Like what you hear? Planted People Win (How to win in 2026 – Week 2)

Coming to church is more than just attending a service; it is about finding a place to belong and grow. Using the story of a man healed at the pool of Bethesda, this message explores how we can move from making excuses to taking active steps of faith. Just as a seed needs the right soil to flourish, we thrive when we are committed to a community that supports our spiritual maturity. Being "planted" means establishing permanence in our lives so that the lessons we learn on Sunday stick with us throughout the week. When we commit to this journey, we don't just find personal healing; we begin to carry and support others who are facing their own challenges. It is time to step off the sidelines and into the purposeful life you were designed for. Scripture References Ephesians 4:11-13 1 Corinthians 12:21-26 John 5:1-15 Like what you hear? If you feel that what you have heard is for you, and you'd like to be involved, then we would love to hear from you.
