When Lies become a virtue - Conversation with Ulan

Lying has been normalised in our world today, such that it really become a virtue without us really thinking of it - from lying on tiny little issues to bigger issues. Have you ever imagined the impact it has on us and those we lie to? In this podcast, I invite you to do a quick examination of the impact of lies and how we can practically deal with them. Ulan tells us that until we learn to practise kindness to ourselves and those around us, we will not see the devastating effects of lies.

    Celebrate the little success

We are sometimes guilty of waiting to celebrate the big wins, what if they never come. In this episode, I encourage you to learn the principle of God who during the process of creation will often pause to say what he has created was good! Can we learn to pause and celebrate our little success and not wait until we make the big win to celebrate?

The power of Scars: Strong in Broken Places - Series 4

The truth is that life throws a lot of curves at us that can break us. But, like broken bones that heal stronger than before and scar tissue that is stronger than the skin, God can bring strength out of brokenness. “The world breaks everyone and afterwards many are strong at the broken places.”

The power of Scars - Series 3

The first step to facilitate the healing of emotional wounds is to check if you really want to be healed. There are many people today who do not want to be healed. You may have given up on your situation, refusing to believe there is any hope. Your hurt is too deep. You may be saying “I will never be healed.” It is therefore important that we ask ourselves the question, "Do you want to be healed?" Always remember, "“Satan wants to use our past to paralyze us. God wants to use our past to propel us. The choice is ours.”- Sharon Jaynes

The power of Scars - Series 2

If Jesus in his resurrected body came back with scars, though he had the power to come back without them, then what does it suggests to us? what is the importance of our scars? The key thing is to recognize that “There is a big difference between a wound and a scar. A scar says, ‘I’ve been healed, and this is my story.”

The power of Scars - Series 1

Just the way we handle physical scars, similarly we should handle emotional and spiritual scars, that have result from painful and hurtful events in our lives. However, "Don’t hide your scars, wear them as proof that God heals”

What is special about being a woman?

With emerging trends of young ladies wishing to be men in order to feel more complete and many feeling pained for being women, this episode gives every woman a reason to be happy for being a woman. In celebrating Mother's day, this episode attempts to answer the question, "Is the woman's anatomy (especially the womb, breast and hands) just an object of function or does it have any special purpose? The woman's body is much more than an object of design but is more a creative act with divine purpose, therefore every woman should celebrate her anatomy and remember to glorify God for making her a woman to reflect something about his character.

    What is your Addiction?

This episode deconstructs the idea of addiction and gives it a positive connotation. I share practices we need to engage and those we need to disengage in order to move towards the ultimate addiction. In the summation of the issue, I submit that Jesus should be our addiction because "only in a relationship with our Creator do we find the true meaning and purpose of our lives." Sex wouldn't
