    Heart-to-Heart: How GLP-1 Agonists Could Shape the Future of Cardiovascular Care in Long-Term Patients

    This week two of Eventus WholeHealth’s exceptional pharmacists VP of Pharmacy Dr Monica Leriger PharmD and Dr Barbara Pereira, PharmD Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacy are chatting about a recent and important article published in the Annals of Internal Medicine. The article dives into estimating new eligibilty and cost for expanded medicare covererage of GL P1 agonists for cardiovascular risk prevention, a topic directly impacting the patients we care for at Eventus—vulnerable individuals in long-term care.     Guardians of the Gravities: Inside a Telehealth & EMS Falls Program

    In this week’s episode we're talking with Cortney Kulers NP, Director of Virtual Health at Eventus. She recently presented a poster at the Society for Post Acute & Long Term Care’s annual conference. Cortney was kind enough to stop by and share the world her Virtual Health team is doing at Eventus and the amazing outcomes their experiencing with a new pilot program around falls and working with EMS teams.  We're also introducing a new biweekly segment called the Psych Med Minute. These segments are aimed at expanding knowledge around common medications used for psychiatry in geriatric populations.
