(Proverbs 22:6)" with a six letter word called , "CHOICE!" ...God doesn't make robots of those who follow him!

In the next few episodes of "The Journey," Philip and Toni shift their focus to sharing portions their lives as they raise "Adult Children" while nurturing their own relationship in what they have termed, "The Wilderness Years!" Reliving the human experience of pain and the lessons gained from them.

In this episode, Philip and Toni continue their journey to Phoenix, in "Highways and Hemorrhoids...Part 2," with more roller coaster situations that test their relationship both internally and externally. They are learning, in real time that "Life" doesn't slow down for one to catch a breath or take a break! Can it get any worse?

In this episode, Philip and Toni's lives continue to be "disrupted" as rose-colored glasses and crystal stairways give way to disappointment, depression, and hardship! Listen in as they reflect on their situation and draw sobering insights into their involuntary "Faith-Strengthening" exercises God has sanctioned! 

Philip and Toni decide to continue "The Journey" with this episode plunging them into the sobering reality that the "Rose" colored shades they had worn for the first years of their dating and early married lives were being ripped from their eyes. Life is now being replaced with the stark, in-your-face, reality that author Langston Hughes was quoted saying, "Life Ain't Been No Crystal Stair!" Listen in as their journey takes them through the years of "Raising Adult Children." Listen in as they watch their "Crystal Stairs" of life start to shatter from under their feet!...

As Philip and Toni continue their journey of "Raising Adult Children", we begin a new phase in our lives by leaving Nashville and moving to Phoenix, Arizona "... for a work God has for us to do!(Acts 13: 1-3)"Listen in as their journey takes them on mental, spiritual, and PHYSICAL hardships that will have you, hopefully, relating to and laughing with us...! :-)

As we bring a close to this portion of "The Journey," Philip and Toni conclude their experiences as "Parents of Teenagers" with the cruel reality of the influence of our children's "Choices." That influence would put us at opposite corners locked in physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional battle for the next twenty years!This isn't the end of our journey... This is the gateway into the next journey, "Parenting Adult Children!"
