Pablo Gonzalez, a friend and classmate from college, is in this episode to talk about Houston, trees, and his new company Livelihood Projects. To simply put it -for every t-shirt sold, they will plant a tree in Houston, TX! Happy New Year! With a new year comes new adventures and I want to help make sure that we are all prepared for that next adventure. This episode is covering Leave No Trace; Though, I won't be deep diving into each principle, I'll cover the ones most applicable for those that need to know the "bear" minimum of how to treat the outdoors with respect. Michael and I embarked on what was supposed to be a winter national park road trip last year. That clearly didn't happen and this trip turned out to be one of the worst trips we had ever been on.
