Sabrina interviews members of the Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater about the company, their love of dance and their upcoming Annual Spring Concert Series on May 6-10 at the Summerlin Performing Arts Center. Interviewees include Erin Christensen, Eddie Otero, Jacqueline Pagone, Vanessa Reyes and Lindsay Hashiguchi.

The girls venture out to the Broadacres Swap Meet for a day of treasure hunting. Listen as they talk about the swap meet, girdles, eggs, horses and decorative plastic. This show is as eclectic as the swap meet!

The JJ's visit the Reed Whipple Cultural Center Gallery for a wonderful exhibit called Scanning Japan. Artists featured were Irene Imfeld, Sofie Siegmann, Whitney Vosburgh, John Watson. The exhibit ends May 2, 2009, but visit the website to learn about upcoming exhibits.

The girls oohed, aahed and learned a lot at Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat with special guest and animal behaviorist, Alex. What a wonderful outdoor exhibit at the Mirage. Listen as the girls imitate the dolphins and talk about dolphin moustaches.

The girls go to the season finale performance of the Nevada Chamber Symphony's 2008-2009 season. For 24 years the Nevada Chamber Symphony has performed a mix of short classical and pop favorites. This is a free series at the Clark County Library Theater that will return in October 2009.

The girls take a field trip to Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay to say hi to the fishies. Be sure to listen through the end to hear Sabrina's hilarious fish tale.

Sabrina and Jill attended a special performance by the Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater for Black History Month at the West Las Vegas Library Theater. Be sure to catch their Spring Series this May and future performances. It was magnificent!

The girls laughed their @sses off a the LA Comedy Club upstairs in the lounge at Trader Vic's at the Planet Hollywood Casino. They saw Diaz Mackie, D'Lai and Ian Bagg with host Brant Tobler. They're still laughing.

The girls enjoy a wonderful afternoon of high tea at the Verandah restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel at Mandalay Bay for Jill's birthday. How civilized.

The girls explore the hilarious differences between the sexes at Defending The Caveman at the Excalibur.

Jill, Julie and special guests, Kelly and Kris, visit Tao and Madame Tussauds Wax Museum at the Venetian. Hear about who they saw, who they married and what made them screeeeam! The JJ's also recount their adventure the weekend before when they meant to go to the museum and instead ended up at Encore and Sephora. That's Vegas for you!

You haven't seen Christmas in the desert until you have visited the holiday cactus garden at Ethel M's chocolate factory in Henderson. The girls were enthralled by the 3-acre cactus garden lit up with half a million Christmas lights. It was spectacular. The girls ended the night with a nice drive through the Sunset Park Gift of Lights holiday light festival. Now we've got the holiday spirit!

This week the girls review another book about Las Vegas called Winner Takes All, Steve Wynn, Kirk Kerkorian, Gary Loveman, And The Race To Own Las Vegas by Christina Binkley a Wall Street Journal writer who has covered Las Vegas for ten years.

The girls went to see the sparkle, glitz and glam of a Las Vegas legend at the Liberace Museum. From 200 lb. rhinestone encrusted costumes to rings the size of matchbox cars, there was definitely enough sparkle to go around.

This week the girls were delighted by the 5th Annual Las Vegas Latino Short Film Festival sponsored by the Hispanic Museum of Nevada. The short films were impressive (and subtitled) and the event very enjoyable. The films were La Primera Vez, Tercero B, Sin Plomo, Eramos Pocos, Bloom, De Pura Cepa, Proverbio Chino.

Listen to this show and you will find out why you MUST go to the paella cooking class at Cafe Baba Reeba. It was absolutely incredible and worth every penny. A true delight. You will leave full, inspired and with a deep appreciation for Spanish cuisine.

What a delight to talk to Gerry McCambridge about his show, his friends and his success as the girls interviewed him after his show at Hooters. All we can say is "he's adorable!"

This week the girls get smoked out at AJ's Tavern for Friday night open mic night for comedians. All we can say is listen to this thrashing episode but skip open mic night. Ick.

The Quickie this week is to inform you about the Clark County Museum's Ghosts and Goblins of Nevada's past.

This week the girls ate their way through the Bite of Las Vegas, an annual outdoor food festival with live music and food vendors. They should call it nibble fest!

The girls try to recover from mind tricks and mental confusion after seeing Gerry McCambridge, The Mentalist, at Hooters Casino. This show will blow your mind!

This week the girls enjoyed the 6 year anniversary of First Friday, a montlhy art festival held downtown with musicians, craftsmen, artists, food vendors and gallery open houses. Listen to interviews with artists Jennifer Main, Leslie Rowland, Sharon Gainsburg and musicians Rhyme and Rythm, Sinco and Beethoven.

This week the girls and a special guest from That Show With Those guys checked out the International Art Expo Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay. We exposed ourselves to art in more ways than one.

This is a band you won't want to miss! The girls had an amazing time on Monday night listening to this 14-piece band bring down the house at the Palms Lounge. A real treat and not to be missed!

This week the girls ventured downtown to Fremont Street to check out the local music scene and visit Beauty Bar, The Griffin, Jillian's, Hennesey's and The Bunkhouse. They all needed to sleep in the next morning!

The girls have the pleasure of interviewing Jack Sheehan, the Las Vegas author of Skin City.

In a double length episode this week, the girls do their first book review, featuring Skin City, Uncovering the Las Vegas Sex Industry, by Jack Sheehan. Tune in as the girls delve into issues of morality, sexuality and alternative lifestyles.

The girls (minus one) take in a show at the UNLV Performing Arts Center and discuss local theater and concert fare, the super summer theatre, Clint Holmes, Huggy Bear and their experience at the New Media Expo with special shout outs to Faboo Mama and the Orange County podcasters.

The girls find an oasis in Sin City and enjoy the gardens, paths, museum, desert living exhibits and Wolfgang Puck fare. With the Vegas skyline in the distance this urban getaway guarantees a full day of interest for all ages. It was fantastic!

This week the girls talk about their Fourth of July activities. The J's went to Mandalay Bay Beach to hear a Vertical Horizon concert and Sabrina enjoyed an outdoor movie and fireworks at The District at Green Valley Ranch.
