En el video pueden ver a Claire explorando NEST, el mismo laboratorio que exploré tiempo atrás con Leon. It's a huge task, but the goal is simple: find the chips that will grant us access to the restricted areas so we can locate the antivirus for the G virus and cure Sherry. It might sound easy, but the truth is, it's not. Es enorme pero el objetivo es simple, buscar chips que nos permitan el ingreso a las salas restringidas para encontrar el antivirus del virus G, para curar a Sherry. Puede sonar sencillo, pero la verdad es que no. Here we face the same enemies as in Leon’s campaign: killer plants, Lickers, and zombies. The difference is that Mr. X doesn’t reappear here because he was already eliminated by Birkin G2. But the difficulty is the same—these enemies are just as tough, if not tougher, than in Leon’s campaign, because in Claire’s story we’re missing a crucial item: the flamethrower. Aquí luchamos con los mismos enemigos que con Leon, las plantas asesinas, los lickers y zombies. La diferencia es que aquí no vuelve a aparecer Mr. X porque ya fue eliminado por Birkin G2. Pero la dificultad es la misma, estos enemigos son igual o más difíciles que con Leon, porque en esta historia con Claire no tenemos algo muy importante, el lanzallamas. Despite everything, we managed to find the antivirus in one of NEST's vaults. At this point, it's time to head back to Sherry, but as you know, whenever you find a key item in the game, it means there's a boss waiting at the end of the hall. This time it’s Birkin again, in his G3 form. In my opinion, this is the most powerful form, since in the later stages he loses much of his humanity and even his intelligence; I feel this form is harder to defeat than the ones that follow. In fact, in Leon’s route—Route A—we don’t see any more of Birkin’s forms, but in Claire’s route, we do, with two more to come. Here, as you can see in the video, I managed to defeat him with lots and lots of acid grenades—quite an achievement. Esta vez es Birkin otra vez, en su fase G3. Esta es la fase más poderosa en mi opinión, ya que las siguientes pierde mucha de su humanidad e incluso inteligencia, siento que esta fase es más difícil de vencer que las que siguen. We reach a tram—the one Leon used to escape. But just then, Birkin’s Phase Four, or Birkin G4, appears. This form looks more like a dog with giant teeth and a deformed head. I don’t know. Unfortunately for Birkin, though, the game gives us a minigun that lets us simply riddle Birkin with bullets. That said, you have to use other weapons too; otherwise, you’ll run out of ammo just using the G4, and that’s not the plan—you need to save some for later. Pues bien, tras volver con Sherry toca escapar de NEST, como sucedió con Leon. Llegamos a un tranvía, aquel donde escapa Leon. Pero justo en este momento la fase cuatro de Birkin, o Birkin G4, aparece. Esta forma es más parecida a un canino con dientes gigantes y cabeza deforme. Qué se yo. Sin embargo, para desgracia de Birkin, el juego nos regala una minigun con la que simplemente podemos pulverizar a Birkin con plomo. Eso si, hay que usar otras armas, de lo contrario se nos acabaran las balas solo con G4 y no es el plan, hay que guardar para más adelante. So we managed to escape and reunite with Leon, but there’s another big problem: we run into Birkin again, this time in his Phase 5 form. This time, it really is the last time we’ll face this monster, and after defeating him, we’ll see the game’s true ending. Así pues logramos escapar y reunirnos con Leon, pero hay otro gran problema y es que nos encontramos con Birkin otra vez, pero en su fase 5. Esta vez sí es el último encuentro que tendremos con este monstruo y tras derrotarlo veremos el final verdadero del juego. Since I played through this route with Claire on Hardcore mode, saved no more than three times, and finished the game in under two hours, I earned an S+ rank. This is the highest rank you can achieve in the game, and upon earning it, you’re rewarded with a minigun with infinite ammo, which will appear in the trunk in future playthroughs, whether you play as Claire or Leon. Como jugué este camino con Claire en Hardcore, guardé máximo 3 veces y terminé el juego en un tiempo menor de 2 horas, obtuve el rango S+. Este es el mayor rango que se puede obtener en el juego y al obtenerlo se nos regala una minigun de munición infinita, que aparecerá en el baúl en las futuras partidas que juguemos, tanto con Claire como con Leon. It’s supposed to be about the adventures of a little boy with a lightbulb for a head. It’s a pretty strange game—imagine a mix between Little Nightmares and World of Goo; it’s kind of like that, but really weird and unsettling... In today's video, I'll give you a quick look at the first few levels of the game, played at fast forward and skipping over some parts that took me a while to figure out. But to give you a summary, the game starts by showing us the house where the character we control lives—a house that has been invaded by a dark energy. Español Saludos amigos. El otro día estuve jugando uno de los juegos más raros que he tenido la oportunidad de probar, se llama Bulbboy. Se supone que trata sobre las aventuras de un pequeño chico con cabeza de foco de luz. Es un juego algo extraño, imaginen una mezcla entre Little Nightmare y World Of Goo, es algo así, pero muy raro y perturbador... En el video de hoy les muestro un poco los primeros niveles del juego, a velocidad aumentada y saltándome algunos pasos que tardé en resolver. Pero para hacerles un resumen, el juego comienza mostrándonos la casa donde vive el personaje que controlamos, casa que ha sido invadida por una energía oscura. Our character's grandfather and little dog have disappeared because of this unknown and terrifying dark energy, so our character must rescue his loved ones... I've already told you what it is; the how is another matter, since we have to solve puzzles, find objects, store them in our inventory, and use them when needed. As I said, it's a mix of Little Nightmares, since we have to solve certain challenges to move forward. For a few brief moments, we catch glimpses of the macabre events unfolding in the house, perhaps giving us a hint of the enemies we’ll have to face on our journey. Por breves instantes se nos tan estas pinceladas de cosas macabras que estan sucediendo en el hogar, quizás dándonos un spoiler de los enemigos que debemos enfrentar en nuestra jornada. There are many locations: there’s the bedroom, where we start; the hallway, where we continue after leaving the bedroom; then there’s Grandpa’s room, where we realize something bad has happened; and finally, the kitchen—and I say “finally” because that’s as far as I got in this playthrough. This is the second boss; the first one is a giant hand, but this one certainly looks more like a boss than a hand sticking out of the floor or ceiling. So we’ll encounter more enemies like this throughout the game. Es cuanto menos curioso el jefe que enfrentamos en la cocina, pues se trata de un pollo gigante que intentará devorarnos si no nos ocultamos en el refrigerador o en algún otro sitio. Este es el segundo boss, el primero es una mano gigante pero este ciertamente tiene más "cara" de boss que una mano que sale del suelo o el techo. As I told you, it’s a strange, quirky game, but at the very least terrifying and entertaining, so if you want to give it a try, you might find it interesting, to say the least. I found it on Steam, so I already have it in my library and it’s time to give it a go. Maybe many of you know this game or are familiar with it. The truth is that, as a niche gamer and teenager, I spent many hours playing it and became an expert, so to speak. I used to spend my afternoons after school playing Age of Empires. Español Saludos amigos. Hace poco logré añadir a mi biblioteca de Steam un juego que tenia literalmente años sin jugar. Me refiero a Age of Empires II. Quizás mucho conozcan este juego o estén familiarizados con este. Lo cierto es que yo de nicho y adolescente llegué a jugarlo durante muchas horas y me volví un experto por decirlo así. Pasaba las tardes después del colegio jugando a los imperios. Well, I could have bought it on Steam, but they had a Definitive Edition there, with a ton of updates and new features that the game didn't have back then. Of course, the game isn’t exactly cheap if you think about it. However, it’s on sale until April 30, which is great because the price drops from $19.99 to just $6.99. I say “just” because it’s a pretty significant discount, although sometimes you have to think twice about spending any amount of your budget, especially if you haven’t set it aside for games. Last week, I shared with you the first of three videos featuring Claire’s story mode in Resident Evil 2, a gameplay run parallel to the one we did with Leon. Although there are some differences, playing as Claire is very similar to playing as Leon when it comes to enemies. We face the same pesky zombies that are always causing trouble. Español Saludos amigos. La semana pasada compartí con ustedes el primero de tres videos del modo historia con Claire en Resident Evil 2, un modo de juego paralelo al que ya hicimos con Leon. Aunque con ciertas diferencias, el juego con Claire es muy similar al de leon en lo que respecta a enemigos. Nos enfrentamos con los mismos indeseables zombies que siempre están molestando. On the other hand, we also run into Mr. X for the second time, right after we manage to put out the helicopter fire. We’re supposed to have already done this with Leon, but the second story is simply a repeat of the first, only with Claire and a few differences. These are the most dangerous enemies in the sewers. But before we went to rescue Sherry in the sewers, we came across this final enemy—a truly dangerous threat. There’s a reason for that, and I’m going to explain it to you. You see, there are sales on Steam. I guess with the release of Resident Evil 9, they decided to put some of the series’ titles on sale, and one of the ones I’ve been most looking forward to is the Resident Evil 4 Remake. Español Saludos amigos, sean bienvenidos a otro video en mi canal. Como pueden ver en el video de arriba, estoy probando la demo de Resident Evil 4. El por qué tiene su respuesta y se los voy a explicar. Verán, hay ofertas en Steam. Supongo que con la salida del Resident Evil 9, decidieron colocar algunas de sus entregas en oferta, siendo uno de los más deseados por mi el Resident Evil 4 Remake. As you can see in the image below, there was a 60% discount, just like on other games such as Resident Evil (the first remake), Resident Evil 4 (which I decided to try out the demo for), and Resident Evil 5, a game I’d always wanted to play as a kid. Resident Evil 1 and 5 were a great deal, priced at less than $4. On the other hand, even though they had the same discount rate (60%), the Resident Evil 4 Remake was much more expensive; with the discount, it cost $11.60 instead of the original price of $29. To be honest, I wasn't sure if I could run this game on my PC because of the graphics quality and the minimum system requirements. So I decided to give it a try and download the demo, called Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo. It's 10.45 GB, which worked out well for me because I didn't have much space left due to the other games I had installed. Sinceramente no sabía si podría correr este juego en mi PC por la calidad de los gráficos y los requerimientos mínimos del juego. Así que decidí hacer la prueba y descargar la demo, llamada Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo. Pesa 10,45 GB, lo cual me venía bien porque no tenía mucho espacio a causa de los otros juegos que tenía instalados. As you can see in the video, it runs with some limitations, since I have to configure the game for optimal performance rather than the highest graphics quality. This was a relief for me, because honestly, I thought I wouldn't be able to play it and wouldn't be able to take advantage of this offer. So, after trying it out and playing it for a while, testing the demo with different settings, I decided to add it to my library. Although, obviously, I won’t be able to play it because it requires more than 57 GB of available space. I need to finish Resident Evil 3 first before moving on to 4... Este juego, al igual que el original, tiene dos modos de juegos en el modo historia, puedes jugar con Leon y también con Claire. But it’s not all smooth sailing, because along the way we unfortunately run into Mr. X again—someone we’ve encountered several times throughout the game. But this time is different, because Mr. X was injured in an explosion that occurred in a hallway, and for a moment we manage to leave him behind. However, he reappears just as we’re getting into the elevator that will take us to the train. The painting process is basically the final step. But first, you need to apply a black base coat to cover up the white color and the smudged areas from earlier. This base coat makes all the imperfections visible while also hiding them. El proceso de pintado es básicamente lo último. After that, using the dry-brushing technique, I applied a coat of silver paint, which pairs well with the black, creating a metallic finish across the entire body of the Zord. After applying the dry-brushing layer, it’s time to add color to the figurine. The key is not to cover the entire piece haphazardly, but to apply the red color to just a few parts. The idea is to incorporate the red color without losing the metallic finish I’d already created. I also used copper paint on a few pipes and other parts along the robot’s body. That’s how I managed to paint all the pieces, trying to maintain a style similar to that of the original Tyrannosaurus while staying true to the style I’d created from the start. As you can see in the image below, here are all the pieces, separate and already painted. Ya es la última etapa del juego y en este punto estamos llegando a los últimos enemigos y a los más difíciles. The enemies are practically tanks, speaking of the zombies.
