Episodes

  1. Starcraft II

It is almost embarrasing how much we gush over this game in the audio podcast. You will play this game for years because there are very few flaws and the gaming experience is a varied and new each time you play as the game of chess.

  2. Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War II

Good but not great real time strategy game. Lacks strategic decision making. Good tactical gameplay, but not enough to make it into the "Does Not Suck Category"

  3. Bioshock

This game does not suck. Buy it. Good example of new thinking and creativity that generates a single player only game that can be replayed every year.

  4. Battlefield Bad Company 2

This game does not suck. Skip the single player mode. Multiplayer is rich and inviting, but missed some easy opportunities to best BF 2142 in terms of the replayability and technical shortcomings.

  5. Battlefield 2142

The Big Kahuna. The Bomb. The Best Game Ever.....until we find another great game to benchmark all others.

  6. Champions Online

Episode 6 - We explored the world of Champions Online, a decent Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMO) with an excellent character build and design system that fails at only one thing: the game play. Disappointed as we may be, we give this a sucks rating. Do not buy it.

  7. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

This game sucks, do not buy it. Play the single player campaign if someone gives you the game. The multiplayer totally sucks.

  8. Why Some Games Do Not Suck, and Others Do

Prior to launching our website and podcast, Mr. Crusty and Nelson spent 14 years doing intensive market research into the gaming market using focus groups under actual real world conditions. We followed this up with an exhaustive review of the academic journals on leisure time, game theory, the...
