    “Parenting is Fun” they said

Parenting is when you want to get lit with your wife but alcohol and breastfeeding don’t mix. Parenting is when you have to choose between taking a nap because you’re sleep deficient or cooking food because you’re hungry. To all those people that say nothing compares to having a child, I guess you're right!

Hosting in-laws & Traveling to Vegas with a Family of 4

My Sri Lankan mother in-law flew in from Australia and we hosted her in our 2 bedroom apartment for 2 weeks immediately followed by an airplane trip to Vegas with a 2 year old and 5 month old baby. It was awesome. It was also just as difficult as it sounds.

    Checking In with Ourself

Checking in with yourself feels dumb. It feels like you're wasting your time and, it feels like you’re crazy. Self, how are you today? Well self, I slept for 4 hours trying to catch a dub on ranked because we kept getting 2nd and I ate a hotpocket at 3 in the morning and counted that as my breakfast. If I’m unhappy with the mental habits I’ve been forming because I’ve allowed my untrained brain to run my life, that’s on me. If I can shake off a rough day and live in my abundance because I’ve forced myself to not leave awesomeness on the table of life, that’s on me too.

    I Love Video Games

I’ve hosted gaming events with national bar chains, non-profits, and even professional sports teams. Stress, entertainment, accomplishment, boredom, loneliness, releasing the whoopass; gaming checks all the boxes at the same time. #gamingtoyourgoals #videogames #selfhelp

    Procrastination Explosion Death

Maybe re-thinking the same thoughts about how I haven’t done something yet gives me something to do in my day, serving as an excuse to not get started on the things i actually care about. From not wanting to listen to my own schedule that I made for my own self, to over simplifying something over the course of 10 days just to find out it’s really difficult when it’s due - shout out to all my procrastinators out there.

  6. 7

    Just Go with The Flow

    I'm not wired that way.

  7. 6

    Body Tetris

Being out of shape sucks. Getting in shape sucks. Getting in shape isn’t only a reference to your physical body - I’m talking about Body Tetris. Your body, your mind, your spirit, your sense of drive, your desire to explore, and your wanting to find your purpose; It’s all connected.

    Ugly & Beautiful Travel

Traveling can be extravagant. Traveling can be painful. From beaches to resorts to the bad side of international airport security. Travel is the number one way to invite culture into your life and to elevate your worldly perspective. An intro to real stories and real impacts.

    An Invitation to Corporate America

Welcome to Corporate America, we’re glad you’re here. We get paid to act like we like each other and once you figure that out, we like you even more. I’ve learned some things in my escapades of employment. Some of it is hilarious and some of it is painstaking (which can also be hilarious). Whether you’re here to learn, here to laugh, or here to even maybe try it for yourself, I welcome you to Corporate America and all that comes with it.

This Lady Bought Me Pizza and Gave Me Money to Talk About Myself

I was asked to speak about the journey of my life in a real way, and it was paid! I talked about the awesome stuff, the less than awesome stuff, and then how it all came together to make me into adult me. I've never spoken organized and openly to kids/teens before so it was new. This episode will have some slight narration by me, but mostly an awesome speech that I cut and left here for you.

  11. 2

    Awesome AND Relatable

I've been a full-time waiter to pay my rent and I've also worked for some of the largest corporations in the world. I've lived in the rainforest, on the beach, and on my friend's couch. I'm a gamer, I bump reggae music, and I'm from Iowa baby.
