The Truth About Confidence (Why It Rarely Comes First)

Most people think confidence is something you feel before you act.But what if that’s the reason you feel stuck? In this episode, Jackie breaks down the biggest misconception about confidence and why it often gets confused with certainty, control, and comfort. You’ll learn why confidence isn’t a personality trait or a permanent state, but something you build in real time through action, courage, and self-trust.This episode covers:* Why confidence and certainty are not the same* The role of courage in building real confidence* How to move forward even when you feel doubt* The difference between protective doubt and growth discomfort* What confident leadership actually looks like* How to build self-trust in small, everyday momentsIf you’ve been waiting to feel ready before making a move, this episode will shift how you think about confidence and help you start now.If this resonated, share it with someone who needs it and follow along for more conversations on growth, leadership, and becoming who you’re meant to be. The World Feels Loud… So Why Are We Being Asked to Go Deeper?

The world feels loud right now. Fast. Overwhelming. And sometimes a little uncertain. In this episode of Gathered Glow, Jackie Price sits down with Michael Gott, Senior Pastor of Unity Houston, for a real and thoughtful conversation about what it means to stay grounded in the middle of it all. They talk about the tension so many of us feel between knowing we are all connected and living in a world that often feels divided. Michael shares his perspective on this moment in time and why it may be asking more of us than we realize. This episode explores what it looks like to:• Stay centered when life feels overwhelming• Know yourself more deeply so you can better understand others• Move through pain and growth without losing your footing• See the humanity in people, even when it feels difficultIf you have been feeling stretched, reflective, or like something deeper is shifting in your life, this conversation will meet you there. If this episode resonates with you, share it with someone who’s navigating their own growth, or someone you want to have deeper conversations with. Start With What (Not Why)

We’ve all heard “start with why.” And it matters, especially when you’re leading others. But for yourself? That question can keep you stuck. In this episode, Jackie breaks down why starting with what might be the clarity you’ve been missing. From relationships to career decisions to the quiet standards you live by, this is about moving out of overthinking and into direction. If you’ve been analyzing everything and still feel stuck… this one will hit. Let’s Talk About “Too Much”

“Too loud.”“Too direct.”“Too emotional.”“Too much.”If you’ve ever been labeled like this… this episode is for you.Because here’s the truth:No one gets to define the full scope of who you are from a single moment. In this episode of Gathered Glow, Jackie shares a perspective shaped in real time while traveling through Japan and observing how dramatically context, culture, and environment shape what we perceive as “acceptable.”What if “too much” isn’t about you at all…but about someone else’s framework? And what if the goal isn’t to shrink…but to refine without reducing? If Life Feels Boring… It Might Be Your Palette

This week’s episode came from a quiet moment on a plane.A woman next to me turned down a cookie because it was “too sweet.”And it stuck with me.Because for most people, that same cookie would have felt like a treat. It made me think about how our taste is trained. Not just for food, but for life. The more we’re exposed to something, the more normal it becomes. And over time, we start needing more intensity just to feel anything at all.More stimulation.More excitement.More validation.More noise. And when that becomes your baseline, something subtle starts to happen.Peace can feel like boredom.Consistency can feel like nothing. And real, steady moments can feel like they’re missing something. In this episode, I talk about what it looks like to recalibrate your “palette” and start noticing what’s already good in your life.We also get into:* how overstimulation impacts your perception of love, joy, and fulfillment* why you might feel like something is missing even when it’s not* the difference between feeling something and understanding it* and what it actually means to be present in your own life againThis isn’t about forcing positivity or pretending everything is perfect. It’s about awareness. It’s about honesty. And it’s about recognizing that maybe life hasn’t lost its sweetness…you’ve just gotten used to something stronger. If this resonates, share it with someone who’s been feeling a little disconnected lately. And as always, I’m really glad you’re here. 💜Follow the show and share this episode if it made you think differently! Dating as a Powerful Woman

In this episode of Gathered Glow, Jackie Price is joined by clinical psychologist Dr. Patty Moreno for an honest conversation about dating in today’s world—especially for women who are confident, accomplished, and deeply rooted in their own lives. They explore why success and self-awareness can sometimes complicate relationships, how leadership skills shape communication in dating, and why authenticity often acts as a powerful filter in who enters your life.Together they discuss:• Why strong women can unintentionally intimidate partners• The difference between attraction and true compatibility• How emotional intelligence changes the dating dynamic• Why the best relationships are partnerships—not rescues• The power of letting the wrong people “self-select” outThis conversation is thoughtful, nuanced, and deeply human—about love, identity, and what it means to build relationships without dimming who you are. The Invisible Load Leaders Carry (And How to Stop Feeling Behind)

Some of the strongest leaders I meet are also the most stretched thin—not because they’re incapable, but because they’re carrying more than anyone sees: unfinalized decisions, unspoken expectations, conversations that haven’t happened yet, and responsibility that never turns off.In this episode of Gathered Glow, I share a simple leadership energy map: Maintenance, Growth, and Friction—and how friction shows up in three places: decisions you haven’t made, boundaries you haven’t clarified, and systems you haven’t redesigned. If you’ve ever thought, “I worked all day… why don’t I feel ahead?” this is for you.Subscribe for inside-out leadership: clarity, boundaries, presence, and sustainable power. Is Your Purpose a Performance?

When Calling Turns Into Branding and Growth Starts Costing You More Than It BuildsWe live in a culture that tells us to build in public, monetize our journey, and brand our transformation before it is even finished. But what happens when your purpose becomes something you curate instead of something you inhabit? In this episode, I talk about the quiet pressure to perform your calling, the exhaustion of managing perception, and the difference between real growth and visible growth. If you have ever wondered whether you are building something sustainable or simply maintaining an image, this conversation is for you.Your purpose does not need an audience to be real.It needs depth before it needs display. Mary, Martha, and the Overstimulation Era

Modern life is designed for maximum input.Notifications. Expectations. Noise. Emotional demands. Work. Family. Performance. At what point does it become too much?In this episode, Jackie and her guest explore the lived reality of overstimulation — not as weakness, but as data. Together, they unpack:* What overstimulation actually feels like in real time* Why competent people often receive less empathy* The guilt of feeling overwhelmed by the life you chose* How overthinking drains more energy than doing* The hidden cost of always pushing throughIf you’ve ever felt “fine” on the outside but mentally somewhere else, this conversation will feel uncomfortably honest — in the best way.Gathered Glow is about the energy underneath how we live and lead. And this episode is about protecting it. Consistency Is Important. Discernment Is Essential.

We’ve been taught to admire consistency at all costs.Show up tired. Show up sick. Show up disconnected. Show up anyway. But consistency without discernment doesn’t build trust—it drains capacity. In this episode of Gathered Glow, we challenge the idea that endurance equals integrity and explore what happens when leaders prioritize repetition over wisdom. We unpack capacity as a real, measurable resource—one that requires maintenance, is strained by friction, and only creates growth when it’s protected. If you’ve ever felt pressured to show up no matter what—even when something in you knew better—this episode offers a grounded, clarifying perspective on what leadership actually asks of us. Everything Is Communicating

We hear phrases like “listen with your heart” or “let your light shine” and often dismiss them as poetic, symbolic, or inspirational at best. But what if they’re more literal than we give them credit for?In this episode of Gathered Glow, Jackie explores what happens when we live too turned outward — anchored only in what’s visible, measurable, and loud — and how that disconnection affects our energy, awareness, and sense of self.Drawing from the idea that everything communicates beyond words, this conversation invites you to consider what becomes accessible again when we slow down just enough to notice. This episode is an invitation to pause and listen. Up Close Is Uncomfortable

Looking closely can be uncomfortable — especially when what we see doesn’t match the story we prefer. In this reflection, I explore mirrors, proximity, and how my understanding of God has shifted from something distant to something much closer. This episode isn’t about fixing or labeling — it’s about noticing what feels magnified and asking whether discomfort is coming from distortion or truth. This is a public episode. Goals Aren’t Enough Without This

January resolutions can be loud. In this solo episode, I share the framework I’m using for 2026 because I don’t think we talk about goals in a practical enough way. Here’s the order most people skip: vision (manifestation) → standards (your container) → goals (your SMART plan + milestones).Because you can “get the thing”… and still not be able to keep it if your life isn’t built to hold it. You Can Be ‘Fine’ and Still Be in Survival Mode

In this episode, I sit down with my longtime friend Tobey Searcy, host of the podcast Something Heavy, to talk candidly about trauma, PTSD, and complex PTSD.We explore how trauma shows up in the body, relationships, trust, and everyday life — even when you think you’re “fine.” This is an honest, grounded conversation about survival mode, healing, therapy, and what it means to slowly learn safety again.🔗 Listen to Toby’s podcast, Something Heavy: A Memoir on Childhood Trauma & Complex PTSDDisclaimer: This episode reflects personal experiences and is not professional mental health advice. You Were So Busy Being Right… You Missed This

Have you ever noticed that life seems to respond to you?In this episode, I reflect on karma, not as punishment, not as revenge, and not as something Jesus ever explicitly taught, but as teacher of alignment, and inner truth.Drawing from personal experience, Scripture (Matthew 7:2), and moments of deep spiritual insight, this conversation explores how the way we judge, advise, and speak to others may actually be more for ourselves than others. This is not a theological teaching on Eastern religion or Christian doctrine. It’s a lived reflection on grace, growth, and what it really means to “love your neighbor as yourself.” This is a public episode. Five Years Ago, My Enlightenment Experience

This recording is from five years ago. It’s something I felt deeply called to share at the time, but didn’t yet have the language—or confidence—to fully articulate. In many ways, it’s the beginning of a conversation I’m finally able to have now.If you’ve listened to the episode before this one, you’ll notice some overlap. You’ll also notice differences. This isn’t a repeat—it’s a precursor. This recording captures an earlier moment in my relationship with God, spirituality, and enlightenment. It reflects what I could understand then, what I could say then, and what I was still learning how to hold.I’m sharing it now because it matters.Because it shows the unfolding. Because it offers context. And because I’ve haven't heard anyone from experience in recent years clearly talk about what you actually move through—internally, spiritually, perceptually—on this path. This is not a conclusion. Just my experience.Listen to it as a companion to the episode before it. This is a public episode. What Enlightenment Actually Is

For years, I’ve struggled with whether, or how, to talk about this.I experienced enlightenment, and very few people I’ve encountered have been able to meet the depth of what that experience actually was. I’ve read spiritual texts. I’ve watched countless videos. I’ve listened to teachers, explanations, metaphors, and interpretations. And none of them truly describe it.Not because they’re wrong, but because they stay gentle, symbolic, or conceptual. In this episode, and in the ones that follow, I’m going to describe enlightenment as directly and clearly as I can; from lived experience, not theory. Some of the truths are soft. Some are not. Some are simple. Some are deeply radical. It’s not “mind-blowing” in the way people expect, but it does force you to move out of your mind.Like blinders being removed from your own vision. You’re still you. Life continues. But the perspective is unmistakably different.Throughout history, some voices have come remarkably close to describing this experience, and when they do, it’s unmistakable. But there are also elements of enlightenment that are rarely discussed at all: the mechanics of perception, the shift in awareness, and what actually changes (and what doesn’t).I’m sharing this because I haven’t seen it spoken plainly. And because I’ve been told, clearly, to say it.This is not instruction. It’s not a belief system. It’s not something to strive for. It’s a description, for those who recognize it, or who are ready to see. Stop Living by Labels That Were Never Yours

In this episode, I explore the belief that we choose our families not for perfection, but for growth. I reflect on how family, culture, religion, and society shape our identity through labels, expectations, and unconscious patterns, and how some of those foundations quietly become blocks that dim our light.I share personal stories about intuition showing up early and loudly in my life, how it clashed with identity, faith, and fear, and what it took to learn the difference between intuition and anxiety, conditioning, or people-pleasing. We talk about listening to your inner voice over the comfort or approval of others, releasing inherited beliefs around worth, abundance, and self-expression, and why ignoring intuition, especially to please others, can be dangerous. This is an invitation to examine which labels still serve you, which ones you’re ready to release, and how to stand fully in who you are, even when you’re not fully understood. It’s about love without conditions, intuition without fear, and identity without confinement. This episode reflects my personal experiences and the lens through which I’ve made meaning of them. Nothing shared here is meant to prescribe belief, minimize harm, or replace your own lived truth. This is a public episode.
