Kevin Murphy's "Because of GBMC" 30 Second CBS Radio Spot
"My journey to bariatric surgery began early in life in grade school being teased as “pudgy.” When I entered high school, I still considered myself overweight but upon graduating I enlisted in the military in 1971. Basic training was a bit challenging physically, but I got through. When I finished my active duty service, I joined the Maryland Air National Guard. I served in different positions over the years, thoroughly enjoyed myself and took pride in serving my country...." Listen to Kevin's story here.

Becky Stover's "Because of GBMC" 30 Second CBS Radio Spot
"I should start this narrative by saying that I play a lot of sports. I love to run, swim, bike, dance and more. I’ve been dancing since I was four years old and I truly have a hard time sitting still! In March of 2013, I was playing broomball (which is a sport most similar to ice hockey) and took quite a tumble on the ice. I was able to return to work without issues, but I was unable to return to exercise of any kind without pain. I consulted my GBMC primary care provider who referred me for physical therapy...." Listen to Becky's story here.
