    Star Wars in the Theaters and in the Parks

    Welcome back to Geek’s Corner with Mr. Daps and Caitie Bear! It has been an absolutely massive week for Star Wars fans, and we are diving headfirst into all the exciting updates coming out of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland, plus our rapid-fire reactions to the opening night of The Mandalorian and Grogu movie! 🎙️ In This Episode:Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run Gets a Mandalorian Update! We got to attend the special media event at Disneyland to test out the newly updated attraction multiple times —enough to make us dizzy! The ride features brand-new experiences, missions, and roles tied directly to Mando and Grogu. More Control & Better Gameplay: Pilots and engineers now get to choose their paths and destinations (including Bespin, Endor, Coruscant, and starting on Tatooine!). Plus, Disney smoothed out the ride play, making it way more accessible and significantly less motion-sickness inducing! The BDX Droids are Back on Batuu! The adorable, autonomous BDX droids have officially returned to Galaxy's Edge, and their personalities are bigger than ever! Meet Greg, Oscar, and Red. They now have actual tasks and jobs to do around the land during their visits. Build a Lightsaber for Free?! Disneyland is introducing a fantastic new experience for younglings where kids can build a custom lightsaber for free during the day. While they don't get to keep it unless they buy it , it takes away the massive paywall and lets families fully immerse themselves in the land. The Mandalorian and Grogu Movie Review: Mr. Daps kept his streak alive of seeing every Star Wars film on opening night since 1997!
