Teaching The Next Generation It's Cool To Be Kind With 920
920 is a father, child of God, up and coming rapper, artist and entrepreneur who grew up in a home filled with his mother’s love and gospel music. As a child, his passion for music was undeniable! His mother, a pastor, attempted to shield him from hip-hop music because of the explicit content. After listening to it for the first time, he was hooked. Starting his career in Memphis, 920 honed and perfected his skills through battle rap, going head-to-head with classmates and developing a unique southern melodic style that sets him apart today.920 and I shared a cup of Café Sevilla coffee while he joyfully poured out his heart and story. 920 lives with a deep commitment to being a present and loving father, while setting an example for future generations. In the hip-hop world, where being a “tough guy” is common, 920’s mission is to show others that it’s okay to embrace joy, glee and vulnerability. Through his music and his life, 920 is a testament to commitment, hard work, pursuing your dreams while staying true to yourself, pouring into those around you, having fun and being truly happy along the way.__________________________*Check Out Our Sponsors*Thinking of writing a book? Real Estate Education And Market Knowledge With Jesse Laner
Jesse Laner is a husband, father, and co-owner of Northern Colorado’s thriving real estate brokerage, C3. Interestingly, Jesse never planned on getting into real estate. The profession found him during a pivotal time in his life. In 2008, while initially exploring real estate investing, Jesse realized he needed capital to achieve his goals. This led him to the selling side of real estate—a move that helped him build up his cash reserves and launched his career in the industry. In this episode, Jesse gives a refreshingly transparent take on the real estate world. He doesn’t hold back in sharing his thoughts on both the rewards and challenges of his profession. He dives into the importance of collaboration within the industry, introducing the concept of “collabo-tition,” where competitors work together to raise the overall success of everyone involved. Jesse also draws comparisons between the 2008 market crash and today’s current market conditions, explaining why today’s challenges might be even tougher due to the drastically lower number of transactions. With an emphasis on perseverance, adaptability, and teamwork, Jesse offers valuable insights for anyone navigating uncertain markets.__________________________*Check Out Our Sponsors*The Foundry: Christian Executive Peer Advisoryhttps://thefoundryadvisory.com/ Attend The Foundry's Sabbath Retreat (Get a 10% DISCOUNT)http://www.eventbrite.com/e/965230268717/?discount=pourintopeopleHulk Addicts Hauling (Junk Removal): https://hulkaddictsjunk.com/Imprint Digital (Digital Marketing Agency): https://imprint-digital.com/M & E Painting and Roofing: https://mandepainting.com/----------------------------------------Download Matt's FREE Business and Leadership Toolshttps://mattshoup.com/free-tools---------------------------------------Check Out Matt's Video Coaching Programshttps://matt-shoup.mykajabi.com/store---------------------------------------Check Out Matt's Upcoming Leadership Adventures to Spainhttps://mattshoup.com/spain-----------------------------------------Join Matt and Emily for their next Couples Connection Night Outhttps://www.mattshoup.com/couples-connection-night-out/-----------------------------------------Visit Matt at Café Sevillahttps://www.mattshoup.com/cafesevilla/----------------------------------------Check Our Matt's Might Men's Mastermindhttps://www.mattshoup.com/mighty-mens-mastermind/Read Matt's Books:https://www.mattshoup.com/books/Follow Matt on SocialInstagram: https://instagram.com/matthewshoupTik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mattshoupFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/matt.shoupLinkedInhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/mattshoup/ Twitterhttps://www.twitter.com/mattshoup

The Turning Point: A Road to Success With Joseph Adkison
Joseph is a father and young entrepreneur who has overcome significant challenges to achieve success. Growing up in the ghetto, his parents worked hard to provide him with better opportunities. Initially, Joseph dreamed of playing football, but when that didn't work out, he found himself joining a motorcycle club that was part of the 1%ers. Realizing he was on the wrong path, he left the club and started working as a bouncer at a strip club. Living out of a motel with a new child, Joseph hustled by selling water bottles on the side of the road, working at Six Flags, and doing security at the Aztec Theater. It was at a show where he met Matt Shoup, who saw potential in Joseph and extended a helping hand. This act of kindness was a turning point for Joseph, who decided to take accountability for his life and work towards a better future. After a grueling process, Joseph passed the test to become licensed to sell health insurance, marking the beginning of his hard work. Through persistent cold calling, he climbed the ranks in the health insurance industry. Inspired by his journey and the support he received, Joseph started a nonprofit organization called the Lions Den, a group of entrepreneurs supporting each other.------------------------------------------------------------------Connect With Joseph Adkison:Facebook: Instagram: LinkedIn: ------------------------------------------------------------------Check Out Our Sponsors:The Foundry: https://thefoundryadvisory.com/ Mendel Construction: https://www.mendelandcompany.com/Imprint Digital: https://imprint-digital.com/M&E Painting: https://mandepainting.com/------------------------------------------------------------------Download Matt's FREE Business and Leadership Toolshttps://mattshoup.com/free-tools---------------------------------------Check Out Matt's Video Coaching Programshttps://matt-shoup.mykajabi.com/store---------------------------------------Check Out Matt's Upcoming Leadership Adventures to Spainhttps://mattshoup.com/spain-----------------------------------------Join Matt and Emily for their next Couples Connection Night Outhttps://www.mattshoup.com/couples-connection-night-out/-----------------------------------------Visit Matt at Café Sevillahttps://www.mattshoup.com/cafesevilla/----------------------------------------Check Our Matt's Might Men's Mastermindhttps://www.mattshoup.com/mighty-mens-mastermind/Read Matt's Books:https://www.mattshoup.com/books/Follow Matt on SocialInstagram: https://instagram.com/matthewshoupTik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mattshoupFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/matt.shoupLinkedInhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/mattshoup/ Twitterhttps://www.twitter.com/mattshoup

Direct Impact: Transforming Child Protection With Craig Secher
Craig is a counselor, therapist, and the founder of Realities for Children. Through his extensive experience as a kids' chemical addictions counselor, child protection investigator, and case manager, Craig witnessed firsthand how many vulnerable children were slipping through the cracks of the system. Faced with the high burnout rate among child protection workers, Craig was driven to create Realities for Children to address the systemic issues and provide much-needed support. Their primary focus is providing emergency services by establishing a county-wide safety net when other resources run dry. Craig aimed to unify organizations working towards the same cause, reducing competition for limited donations, grants, and fundraising dollars by engaging the business community as a supportive partner. Despite initial opposition from the nonprofit sector, these business partnerships have allowed Realities for Children to cover all administrative costs, ensuring that every donated dollar goes directly to services for children. Craig finds immense reward in witnessing success stories and positive growth from his work. He also addresses the significant spike in child abuse post-pandemic, and its mental health implications.------------------------------------------------------------------Connect With Craig Secher at Realities for Children:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=realities%20for%20childrenInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/realitiesforchildrenfc/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/craig-secher-28284811/------------------------------------------------------------------Check Out Our Sponsors:The Foundry: https://thefoundryadvisory.com/ Mendel Construction: https://www.mendelandcompany.com/Imprint Digital: https://imprint-digital.com/M&E Painting: https://mandepainting.com/Download Matt's FREE Business and Leadership Toolshttps://mattshoup.com/free-tools---------------------------------------Check Out Matt's Video Coaching Programshttps://matt-shoup.mykajabi.com/store---------------------------------------Check Out Matt's Upcoming Leadership Adventures to Spainhttps://mattshoup.com/spain-----------------------------------------Join Matt and Emily for their next Couples Connection Night Outhttps://www.mattshoup.com/couples-connection-night-out/-----------------------------------------Visit Matt at Café Sevillahttps://www.mattshoup.com/cafesevilla/----------------------------------------Check Our Matt's Might Men's Mastermindhttps://www.mattshoup.com/mighty-mens-mastermind/Read Matt's Books:https://www.mattshoup.com/books/Follow Matt on SocialInstagram: https://instagram.com/matthewshoupTik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mattshoupFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/matt.shoupLinkedInhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/mattshoup/ Twitterhttps://www.twitter.com/mattshoup
