David stumbled across an urban myth and decided to educate the guys on the story of Mel's Hole. Calling into "Coast To Coast AM" in 1997, Mel shared his story with listeners across the nation of a strange, bottomless hole located somewhere on his property in Washington state. Measuring roughly 9 feet in diameter, he claimed the hole had been known about for generations and that the government had even come to do environmental tests. What's weirder is that no one else has ever been able to find the hole. Oh, and he found another one in Nevada. Strangely enough, this isn't the first time that Kansas State has been to this particular bowl game. You may know it by a different name....or several different names to be more accurate. David wants to talk about the teams history with this bowl game that even went a year without a sponsor. Completely unheard of in this day and age so we're guessing the sales guy must have been asleep at the job.
