    Fest Of The Forge

    ~~~~~ LAST SESSION RECAP ~~~~~Our party travelled north, quickly gaining Gregor back in their ranks as he teleported to them. The travel was shortened by a secret cave route through the mountain range within which our group discovered some glowing mushrooms that covered Husker in bioluminescence for a short while. Upon arriving at the forest, V asked each of the members to participate in the ritual casting of her spell. Husker aided with his druidic nature, the other members aided with their natural reserves of arcana. During this time, V explained to Briar why the Fey dislike the Elves. The Elves once lived in the Feywilds and were extremely cruel and killed many Fey in their time there. Upon completion of the spell, a portal opened. Our party travelled through to discover a lake surrounded by dense forestland on the other side. Inside the lake lay two large serpents. One gold with red liquid swirling around it, the other copper with silver liquid. Through much tension, Briar dove into the water, being burned as she swam. She discovered a stone vanity at the deepest point of the lake. After talking in depth at the bottom of the lake (redacted for player secrecy, but still available in the YouTube VOD's soon to be uploaded!) she emerged, with the curse on her hand removed. All of Briar's non-magical belongings turned to silver. Gregor was forced by the serpent to talk privately, but seemingly left the conversation without accepting anything they were offering. Husker dove in, under the mention of "reuniting for a moment and more permanently with some help". Upon his return, gently lifting him up, he appeared to have been crying. Thal entered the lake cautiously and the serpents dragged him down under the water's surface. After another (redacted) discussion, he was flung out of the lake. Most notably, he was no longer a green dragonborn, but instead a copper one. All items were returned from their silvered state and the group left. After some rest and travel, they ended in Sol.

    Surviving Sol

    Lake Of Twisted Fates

    ~~~~~ LAST SESSION RECAP ~~~~~Gregor took off to use Song Of Rest on the injured civilians, while the other three further discussed Briar's hand. They decided to go and talk to the followers of Onir in case the elf in their party could offer some help. Mid-discussion, Gregor disappeared from view and a familiar arcane symbol appeared in the sky. The clouds darkened and the three were shrouded in smoke. A tall tiefling woman with grey skin and blue war paint appeared hovering in the sky. She said that she deemed us worthy of a gift which she would provide to the winner of the upcoming battle. To each of the three, it looked as though they were fighting shadow like creatures. The three fought valiantly, with Thal being the eventual victor. The woman offered Thal a gift of his choice, and he chose "Shield". He was given a large tower shield which had ties to Citadel's royal family and elvish writing. It allowed him to be invisible for up to an hour, made him silent and offered him more protection. The siblings carried Husker's lifeless body for an hour, before he awoke, explaining he had a spell that could make him appear dead to both magical and non-magical investigation. The three - having lost Gregor during the battle - continued to find the followers of Onir. Quite easily, they found three members: The dragonborn (Traaz), the dwarf (Rory) and the elf (V). Our party asked for help and after some discussion V decided to offer a possible solution. Travelling to the Lake Of Twisted Fates could possibly cure her hand, however the spirits there do not like elves. Furthermore, that would be going out of Citadel and north to the forest outside T'hembora. The three agreed after being told that they only had a limited window of opportunity, then decided they would travel further to Sol with the followers of Onir once they had concluded their business at the lake. Traaz contacted Gregor to let him know the new plan. He said he would "catch up".

    Into The Void

    ~~~~~ LAST SESSION RECAP ~~~~~The rest of the party, sans Briar, attempted to break in to the now locked library. Gregor did so successfully, whilst Thal fucked it up. Husker flew above the building in full view of the guards. Through some crafty whispered conversations, Gregor managed to exchange the Queen's Letter to Briar's possession, which she used to gain access to the Preservation Room filled with rare and important books. She asked to look at one with an E.B. on the cover, which transformed into E.C. as she touched it. Images flashed through her mind and some faint text appeared on the page in pale green, which she didn't have a chance to read. She also learned the name given to the group of criminals in Citadel: The Menagerie. The sealed and protected book in the centre was described to her as an "incomprehensible blueprint of life written by the gods". The group then made their way out of the building and reconvened, not long before more portals opened and revealed 3 Spine Devils and 1 Bearded Devil. Husker took on the mantle of saving the civilians, whilst the other three took to fighting the demons. Once they were dispatched of, Alric the guard offered to hire the group into his team that are trying to understand the demon plight. Then, the groups discussion turned to Briar's hand and the likelihood of it being an anchor for the demons spawning in. Husker was for chopping it off. Thal was for curing it. Gregor was looting. After agreeing to follow Thal's plan, Husker took him to the side to remind him that he was now responsible for any deaths this choice may cause.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We're still learning when it comes to layout/editing/audio, so bear with us, it will improve over time!     Life And Literature

    ~~~~~ LAST SESSION RECAP ~~~~~Husker and the dwarven member of Onir's Men took to outside preparing to fight one another. The tension was quickly dispersed but not before Husker received a swift punch to the face. As the group emerged, Husker spoke to the Half-Orc member of Onir's Men (named Al) and was given their holy book. Gregor approached and after some discussion, it seems that Gregor's father was known. Gregor also asked about 'The Sunder' and it was revealed that he hasn't done it yet. He is to go to a location between Citadel and Elizia to prove his strength to the great spirit. The group headed to rest and came across a game of Royal Gambit with a group of men in leather armour with orange cloaks. Briar bet '2 favours' to the men and lost. The group learned more about the underbelly of Citadel, such as the power dynamic and their colouring. Briar had a ring with the Citadel Royal Signet on it. As the group went to meet with the Weasel, Thal went to the temple and found the note and flowers given by Onir's Men. It said: "Traaz is out, we're staying in Castle's Rest, come see us if you want..." The group went to 'The Walk' tavern, which led them to the Weasel - through a back door - a half-orc man who used to go by the Jackal, before the new Wolf took leadership. He was once friends with the last Wolf, and the name change insinuates some hostility. He wants the Wolf taken down, and wants information on the other criminal groups. Briar went to the library in the Owl's district, disguised, following a plan made by the group to steal an important book and get the Owl's attention. During this time, Briar saved a tiefling girl from falling. Albert, the Librarian, stopped Briar. She is now locked in the Library with several guards outside, alone with Albert.     Citadel's Underbelly

    ~~~~~ LAST SESSION RECAP ~~~~~After the vision Husker experienced during the last battle, he was reeling and defensive. Thal tried to comfort him and swiftly received a hit to the face. Gregor also tried to comfort him and Husker agreed to talk about things when he was ready. The Crown Guard appeared to the battle scene and took control, allowing us to loot the bodies before leaving - Gregor now has a dark, bony trident from the Spine Devil, and Briar has several gems (one of which is from another plane) and empty envelope - and told Briar where the group could go to find bounties: The Lawmaster at the Guardhall being one option, the Hunter's Head Adventurer's Guild being another. The group then went to the bath-house to relax and discuss their future plans, agreeing to be a team. The black stain on Briar's hand is still spreading. They then headed to the Castle Ward, noticing a group of Onir's men (the religion outlawed in Citadel) heading the same direction. Worried about a confrontation, the group followed them, with Husker as a Griffon-esque horse. Briar disguised herself and stole a book from the men, accidentally stealing a Tarak (Onir's religious book). The men of Onir had an audience with the queen and allowed our intrepid adventurer's to join them as they went in. A balding man made eye contact with Briar and within a moment she fell unconcious, having a vision. As quick as it happened, it passed, and the group went into the Throne Room, meeting the Queen and King. They gave the letter to the King, it was 6 years old. The Queen offered them a reward, so they requested a 'Royal Quest'. She told them of a criminal problem in the lower districts led by the "Wolf", and gave us a letter with the Royal seal as proof. Husker got into an argument with the Dwarven member of Onir's men and the two went outside to settle things...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We're still learning when it comes to layout/editing/audio, so bear with us, it will improve over time!     Religious Returnal

    ~~~~~ LAST SESSION RECAP ~~~~~ The party made their way to Citadel, one of the main capital cities of Mireon. The city is a ring 50 miles across and built up of 6 smaller interlocking rings each depicting it's own district which lead - elevating in height closer to the centre which houses the Castle Ward. Most districts have dedicated areas of prayer, as Citadel is the religious capital of the of the world and the largest city on the continent. To the North lies Beggar's Walk - the trade district - which is the only entrance to the city with gates large enough to allow the traffic of trade vehicles. Two other gates lie to the South-East and South-West. Unusually so, the trade entrance was now asking for paperwork upon entrance and seemed a little more heavily policed. The party made their way through with little issue and delivered their goods to the Stablemaster as they were instructed. They were paid less than Zara had said they would, but deciding better than to cause issue, the group left with their lesser pay. Thal swung by the temple of Corellon, quickly praying and studying his old stomping grounds while Briar cleaned the exterior of the temple to pass the time. Thal noticed a heavier guard presence than when he was last there. Gregor and Husker took off towards the Speckled Hen Tavern, before getting distracted by an encounter with a young tiefling girl and her older brother. The two made her cry and Husker got into an argument with the elder brother. During this time, both Briar and Husker felt an energy on the air, which made them feel tense. This feeling quickly led to a deep pulsating and then the opening of rifts from hell, bringing through 6 Dretches and a Spine Devil. Husker, Briar and Thal all fell unconscious during this battle. Briar asked the Spine Devil who had sent him and he replied "The sullied one doth speak of me. Ha! I was sent by the man of 3." Husker swiftly went on to kill the devil after seeing someone from his past beaten and bruised for a split second.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We're still learning when it comes to layout/editing/audio, so bear with us, it will improve over time!     The Iron City

    ~~~~~ LAST SESSION RECAP ~~~~~The four travellers found themselves converging underground and tied up alongside one another in an old sunken manor. Ancient libraries and magically enchanted puzzles put forth a challenge to the group as they tried to escape. Not to mention the gargantuan red bird flying atop them. Within the chaos, they discovered an old scroll to King Nathaniel of Citadel from Head Enchanter Amin, about a 'missing' daughter. It is widely known that the King's daughter was assassinated and that started the last war, which ended 15 years ago. Briar touched some dark ooze around nearby corpses. They received a wooden box with some magical energy. Nobody could open it. Upon escape, the group made their way to the nearest civilisation: Clovermoore. Upon arrival they were quickly ushered to Zara, the community appointed leader of the town since their recent Mayor abandoned them. The group rested in the Fields Of White tavern, and unanimously shared a terrible nightmare of destruction and ruin, before taking on a trade route from Zara to Citadel. They quickly left, taking the cart, and during their first rest they encountered a group of Ambush Drakes, who consequently took Husker in and out of unconsciousness during a ruthless combat. After quick recouperation, the group continued on the next morning to Citadel. They encountered a Tiefling man in a top hat who knew their names - besides Thal. The dark staining on Briar's fingers began to spread.
