Go Into All The World
by Gary Griffenhagen
Jesus said to His disciples in Mark 16:15-20 to "Go into All the World to both preach the Gospel and demonstrate God's love and power to others." The program host and others have gone into all the world, seeing salvations, wholeness, healing and more. God wants all believers to go and this Podcast has a three-fold purpose to encourage all listening to go: (1) Share real testimonies of how God used Gary and others as they went(2) Teach sound doctrine and the biblical basis of salvation to equip believers to go; and (3) Share instruction and principles

211. Luke 4d: Jesus accepted then rejected
Scriptures Reviewed: Lue 4:19-28; Luke 5:22-25; Luke 6:6-11.Discipleship Points: When Jesus first started preaching in the synagogue, He was accepted, all eyes were upon Him. But He knew the thoughts of those present; He demonstrated knowing the thoughts of a crowd in other verses. Jesus also knew and practiced this verse: No prophet is accepted in His own country. Those words soon proved true in Nazareth, Jesus's home.

210. Luke 4c - Jesus begins His ministry
Scriptures Reviewed: Luke 4:13-18; I Cor. 10:13; Rom. 12:6-8; Isa. 61:1,2aDiscipleship Points: Satan left Jesus after the temptations; Jesus ministered in Galilee & then Capernaum; Jesus faithfully attended synagogue (services) - we believers should faithfully attend, serve and support a local or online church; Jesus was not fully accepted in His hometown, fulfilling the verse "a Prophet has no honor in his hometown. 200. Luke 1 - The Christmas Story
Scriptures Reviewed: Luke 1: 1-34Discipleship Points: The Christmas story includes the many teaching points along with much of the supernatural. The Lord heard the prayer of Zacharias & Elizabeth and though advanced in years, they bore a son...who happened to be John the Baptist. Zacharias learned, as we all, to believe God when He speaks! John was filled with the Holy Spirit at birth, the only time in recorded history. Mary believed the angel speaking to her and was blessed.

199. II Cor. 5e
Scriptures Reviewed: II Cor. 5:18-21Discipleship Points: God has reconciled the world to Himself, not imputing their sins to them and given us the ministry of reconciliation. Believers are to take the Gospel to others to fulfil the ministry God has given us. Verse 20 furthers this point given we are ambassadors for God, as if God was pleading through us. And as verse 21 states, believers are MADE righteous. Some churches & leaders stumble at the second half of 21, preferring to belief we MUST do something to be righteous. i.e. the Good News cannot be that GOOD!

198. II Cor. 5d
Scriptures Reviewed: II Cor. 5:16-18Discipleship Points: Gary shares a testimony about being supernaturally refreshed. The verses reviewed include the following points: we regard no one according to the flesh; born again people are new as old things have passed away; all things are of God who has reconciled us to Himself and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

196. II Cor. 5b
Scriptures Reviewed: II Cor. 5:9-11; I Cor. 3:11-15Discipleship Points: Given our security and confidence in Christ, we should aim to please the Lord. All believers will appear before the judgment seat of Christ and the works we do here will be tested. The I Cor. 3 verses include the types of materials used in our works; the precious ones will stand and not burn. The program ends with a testimony about a girl Gary met on a tennis court and how this was an answer to prayer!

195. II Cor. 5
Scriptures Reviewed: II Cor. 5:1-8; Eph. 1:13-14Discipleship Points: II Cor. 5 includes many important points re: the life of believers including we have a temporal house and body but long for an eternal home and new body; God has prepared us for this home and His Spirit inside is a guarantee for us; and if we leave this body, we will be present with the Lord. Ephesians 1:13-14 confirms the Holy Spirit is our guarantee and we have been sealed by the Holy Spirit.

194. Go into All the World Goals
Scriptures Reviewed: III John 2; I Thes. 3:8, 10-11; Prov. 6:6-11; Eph. 4:28; II Pet. 1:2-4; Matt. 8:16-17; I Pet. 2:24Discipleship Points: The program covers two areas. First, what are the goals of the program. These include teaching the Word and Christian Doctrine; to present the Gospel as well as explain & defend the faith; and make disciples. The second focus is the biblical mandate and necessity of work. Gary discusses many scriptures re: health and divine healing; these are necessary for any believer to work long and hard.

193. Hebrews 10i
Scriptures Reviewed: Heb. 10:32-39; James 1:2-4; Hab. 2:4; Gal. 3:11; I Cor. 9:25Discipleship Points: This program concludes Heb. 10. The writer switches from those who walk, leave the faith and its warnings to encourage believers to resist falling back, remembering the victories in Christ from before, run the race with endurance and remember the just shall live by faith. A contrast is made between believers in the East and those in the West. The former may experience property loss and violence. The latter may be persecuted for their social stances.

192. Hebrews 10h
Scriptures Reviewed: Heb. 10:31-32; Luke 24:12-46 (referenced verses, some read); Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16; Acts 16:6-10.Discipleship Points: The last couple programs centered on those who leave the faith, i.e. once save but walk away/apostates. Gary and Manny talk about sharing our faith and fellowshipping as much as possible. Perhaps someone will not walk away, perhaps someone considering the faith will be strengthened. Both share stories about witnessing.

191. Hebrews 10g
Scriptures Reviewed: Heb. 10:26-31; II Pet. 2:20-22Discipleship Points: The program focuses on believers who walk away from the Lord. They harden their hearts, they willfully sin, they despise Jesus, His blood and the Holy Spirit. Their future expectation is judgment and punishment. These verses do not refer to the regular believer nor to backsliders. Backsliders are pulled away and can return. Apostates walk away with no possibility of returning due to their own choice.

190. Hebrews 10f
Scriptures Reviewed: Hebrews 10:24-27; 13:3Discipleship Points: Part of the program focuses on the importance of gathering together with other believers. With many distractions in the world, believers need to press in the study the Word, to fellowship, pray and more. The second part of the program looks at those who willfully sin, who are walking away from their relationship with the Lord. The verses here do NOT refer to the regular believer, giving comfort and clarity to the everyday believer.

189. Hebrews 10e
Scriptures Reviewed: Heb. 10:22-23; Heb. 7:19; Heb. 9:13-14; and II Pet. 1:2-4.Discipleship Points: The program focused mainly on drawing near to God. Drawing near is based upon what Jesus did, not our actions, feelings, mistakes or lack thereof, etc. Verse 23 leads us to hold fast our confession, hope our hope without wavering...because He is faithful. We, again, see that it is His faithfulness which gives us hope. The program ends with comments on I Pet. 2-4, verses that show we have grace and peace through the knowledge of Him, and we have all things for life and godliness through His promises to us.

188. Hebrews 10d
Scriptures Reviewed: Hebrews 10:19-25; I Thes. 5:16-19Discipleship Points: The program summarizes the points from last week's program including establish ourselves by the Word, not by our actions; there are no longer offerings for sin; give thanks in, not for, all things; and God will fight our battles as our fight is not with flesh and blood. Truths from I Thes. include rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all things and quench not the Spirit. Gary shares a story about being led to give thanks when waiting for two contacts.

187. Hebrews 10c
Scriptures Reviewed: Hebrews 10:15-24; Jeremiah 31:31-34Discipleship Points: God said He will put His Law in our hearts and minds. This suggests NO external work, activities, penance, et al, on our part. We are to know and be established by His work in our lives, giving us eternal security. Rather than work, do, offer sacrifices, et al, to establish ourselves, let us go into all the world and help others, evangelize and serve the Living God. The program includes a tennis story and a layoff for Manny that God works for good.

186. Hebrews 10b
Scriptures Reviewed: Heb. 10:8; Rom. 2:14; 3:19-20; 4:13-14; Ex. 3:1-6; Luke 15:15-24; Heb. 10:9-15.Discipleship Points: Many scriptures show God was not excited about the annual sacrifices. The Word also is clear that by the deeds of the law no flesh shall be justified. Justification comes by faith; if those of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise of no effect. The parable of the Lost Son illustrates how God now accepts those who strayed, giving them the sandals that represent possession.

185. Hebrews 10a
Scriptures Reviewed: Heb. 9:23-28; Heb. 10:1-10Discipleship Points: Jesus offered His sacrifice ONE TIME. He appeared to "put away sin," i.e. any penalty for sin is gone for believers. Christ was offered ONCE for sins; He will come again but for salvation. The blood of bulls and goats could not take away sins. Though God allowed yearly sacrifices, He had no pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices. In verse 10:10, we read that we believers have been sanctified through His offering once and for all!
-
177
184. Hebrews 9
Scriptures Reviewed: Hebrews 9:1-16; Eph. 2:10Discipleship Points: The verses and teaching encompass the OT practices as symbolic of the true sacrifice, the one that would make the others obsolete and show their insufficiency. Jesus purchased "eternal redemption," one that cannot be loss nor taken away. We can now sit and relax, thanking and praising God, that we have an eternal home and hope.

183. Keeping Commandments #3
Scriptures reviewed: Heb. 7:11, 18; Heb. 8:6-13; Heb. 9:11-15Discipleship Points: A number of scriptures illustrate the end of the law: if perfection came through the Levitical priesthood (for under it people received the law), what further need was there for another priest to arise? Heb. 8:18 reads "there is an annulling of the former commandment due to its weakness and unprofitableness for the law made nothing perfect...on the other hand there is the bringing in of a better hope." Jesus is a better priest, continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood and saves to the uttermost.
-
175
182. Keeping Commandments #2
Scriptures Reviewed: Gal. 4 (1-2 verses); Isa. 53; Heb. 7:20-28Discipleship Points: Jesus fulfilled the various prophecies in Isaiah including the Lord had laid the iniquity of us all and He bore the sins of many. In Heb. 7:20-28 we saw many pertinent points including Jesus was made a priest by an oath, He is a priest forever, He has an unchangeable priesthood, He is able to save to the uttermost, and the law appointed high priests who have weaknesses but the oath which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever.
-
174
181. Keeping Commandments
Scriptures Reviewed: Deut. 28, Gal. 3:19-4:7Discipleship Points: Many measure their Christian life fully or partly based upon keeping commandments. These believers and others think mainly on the 10 Commandments. This seems spiritual until we understand there are 613 commandments. The scriptures in Galatians clearly show the Law (keeping commandments and such) was added because of transgressions, it cannot give live or righteousness and was a tutor to bring us to Christ. Once He came, we were no longer under a tutor.
-
173
178. Acts 17
Scriptures Reviewed: Acts 16:25-40; Acts 17:1-9Discipleship Points: Two believers were faithful in their walk with the Lord, praising Him at midnight while locked in jail. Their efforts led to the salvation of others. The Lord produced a sign and wonder freeing from the jail. In Acts 17, Paul is faithful to preach in the synagogues, and a church is established in three weeks. Many were saved as Paul and others preached and taught the Bible they knew, a testament to al to study the Word.
-
172
177. Acts 16
Scriptures Reviewed: Acts 15:30-41; Acts 16:1-24Discipleship Points: One comment is "it seemed good to remain there." This confirms why we pray about everything, i.e. stay with the peace. Chapter 15 ends with a disagreement, but not a complete disconnect. Verse 3 shows another reason to always pray: the Holy Spirit forbade some to preach in Asia, while a man in Macedonia asked for help. A slave-girl with a demonic spirit was set free, but the two disciples paid a price.
-
171
176. Acts 15
Scriptures Reviewed: Acts 15:1-29Discipleship Points: There was a serious conflict between some brothers who taught circumcision was necessary for salvation and the apostles and others who said it was not necessary. The great joy over those who were saved was tempered by this dispute. Many today may not use circumcision but use another form of legalism. The apostles won out teaching that God gave the Gentiles the Holy Spirit without circumcision, showing grace was the true answer.

173. Being Faithful
Scriptures Reviewed: Acts 13 and various.Discipleship Points: The power of faithfulness and its importance in the life of a believer.
-
169
175. Holy Spirit #9
Scriptures Reviewed: Acts 14:1-11; Matt. 8:16-17; Isa. 53:4-5.Discipleship Points: Verses in Acts say "the disciples spoke the Word, with the Lord bearing witness with signs and wonders." Theses verses show the Lord manifests or produce signs and wonders. We encourage believers to ponder that if miracles come from the Lord they should be embraced. Another miracle, with no outward prayer, is found in Acts 14:8-11. One sad note comes from the 8-11 healing. Barnabas and Paul were almost hailed as "gods" yet soon after, the same townspeople were turned against the two, showing the fickleness of human nature.
-
168
174. Being Faithful #2
Scriptures Reviewed: Luke 16:11-12; Matt. 25:14-30; Acts 13:30-35.Discipleship Points: One who is faithful in little will be faithful in much. If someone is not faithful with worldly wealth, who would entrust him or her with the true riches. Sold out believers practice with the unrighteous wealth, so they can gain things of eternal nature. Tithing is an area many believers could improve in. No matter where one starts, i.e. 1 or two talents, a shepherd boy like David, et al, one can rise. Jesus did not see corruption, though all others do/did, so God has the ability to prevent corruption/do the miraculous.
-
167
172. Holy Spirit #8
Scriptures Reviewed: Acts 13:1-29Discipleship Points: While ministering to the Lord, Paul and Barnabas were set apart. Paul dealt with Bar-Jesus, a false prophet. David was called a "man who would do all God's will" as part of Paul's sermon in the synagogue.
-
166
169. Holy Spirit #6
Scriptures Reviewed: Acts 11, Matt. 28:29, Eph.2:10.Discipleship Points: Peter's response to the those contending with him (about being and eating with uncircumcised men) shows God's hand and direction in the matter; the story about Cornelius and his family shows many divine interventions and encourages modern believers to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and His promptings/voice. Later verses in Acts 11 show many coming to Christ by those filled and/or relying on the Holy Spirit.
-
165
165. Holy Spirit #2
Scriptures Reviewed: John 16:13; Rom. 8:9-11; Acts 1:4-8; Acts 2:1-8.Discipleship Points: The Holy Spirit is in believers. He (the Holy Spirit) will declare things to come, He resides inside believers, He filled the disciples at Pentecost, He gave them new tongues. A powerful deliverance testimony is included.

163. Galatians Two Finished
Scriptures Reviewed: Gal. 2:17-21; portions of Rom. 6. Discipleship Points: Is Christ a minister of sin? Do those advocating grace condone or permit sin? Of course not is the clear answer. Dying to the law and living for God means we offer up ourselves as instruments of righteousness, not as instruments of lawlessness. A comment from Chuck Swindoll emphasizes the gravity of our new life as we choose life not sin.

162. Galatians Two (cont.)
Scriptures Reviewed: Gal. 2:11-17; Acts 10: 28; Acts 10:44-46; Proverbs 29:25. Discipleship Points: Paul confronted Peter because Peter had let fear of man drive him from eating with Gentiles. Peter's actions were at odds with his previous behavior at the house of Cornelius. Paul clearly presented the Gospel and salvation by grace as he addressed Peter and others.
-
161
161. Galatians Two (continued)
Scriptures Reviewed: Gal. 2:5-10; Rom. 15:26; John 13:34-35Discipleship Points: False brethren came to spy on the liberty believers had, going so far as to "spy from a restroom." The leaders of the Church saw the grace, message, and more given to Paul. They realized he was anointed to preach to the Gentiles, and they shared the right hand of fellowship. Paul was to remember the poor, something he wanted to do anyways.
-

160. Galatians Two
Scriptures Reviewed: Gal. 1 (summary); Gal. 2:1-5; Rom. 12:1-2.Discipleship Points: Paul wanted to verify the Gospel he preached. He was prompted (went up by revelation) by the Holy Spirit. Gary and Manny discussed in detail the importance of believing the Holy Spirit will speak to and lead believers. Some legalists came to spy out the liberty Christians believing through grace have.
-
159
159. Galatians One (continued)
Scriptures Reviewed: Gal. 1:13-24Discipleship Points: Paul notes God revealed His Son to him when it pleased Him and Paul went from breathing threats against the disciples to joining them. A quote from Charles Swindoll was noted as was the fact Paul received the Gospel from God, not from man. The program concludes with a review of Chapter One.

158. Testimonies
Scriptures Reviewed: None were fully reviewed but II Tim. 1:7 was mentioned.Discipleship Points: Manny and Gary shared testimonies from the past week. Highlights came from a worship symposium attended by Manny and Gary's interaction and teaching at Gospel House church and a Sunday Bible Study at Job Corps in Clearfield, UT. God is doing a work in both places as Christians hear the Word and both grow and go.

157. Paul's Revelation from Galatians
Scriptures Reviewed: Eph. 2:10; Gal. 1:11-14Discipleship Points: Paul received the Gospel from Jesus, through a revelation. The legalism and heresy being taught by some to the Galatians had to be stopped. Paul formerly denied and tried to destroy Christianity; now he is preaching it. He was zealous for the Jewish faith and ways, now he is the same for Jesus and Christianity. This complete, dramatic change shows the true nature and power of the Gospel.
-
156
156. Galatians One (continued)
Scriptures Reviewed: Gal. 1:8-10; Eph. 2:8-10Discipleship Points: Paul strongly condemned anyone teaching another gospel; he wished anyone including himself so doing would be accursed. He then stated he was not preaching the gospel that would have brought accolades from men; he preferred to reach the true gospel, staying a bondservant of Christ.
-
155
155. Galatians One
Scriptures Reviewed: II Tim. 3:16-17; II Cor. 5:6-8; Gal. 1:1-9Discipleship Points: Paul, the author of the book of Galatians, wrote that out standing is complete. However, even though he himself preached these truths to those at Galatia, many had turned away...had quickly turned away. Paul addressed this fallacy as well as noting he was an apostle, not through men but through God. Some in Galatia had called into question his apostleship and authority.

154. Aiming for Something Bigger #3
Scriptures reviewed: II Tim. 3:16-17; II Cor. 5:6-8; Phil. 1:19-24; I Thes. 4:15-18. Discipleship Points: Manny and Gary make comments about the verses from II Tim. The verses touch on many points including doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteous- ness, and being equipped for every good work. The program also addresses "absent from the body" and the bodies of those who have passed on when Jesus returns.

153. Aiming for Something Bigger #2
Scriptures Reviewed: I Cor. 2:16; John 14:26; Luke 12:12; John 14:12; Judges 6. Discipleship Points: Manny and Gary share how they grew in confidence for their ministries, Manny in worship and Gary in evangelism & personal ministry to saved and unsaved. Manny gives specific exhortation (keep at it, don't give up, etc.) while Gary shares scriptures that help in personal ministry. Gary ends with this simple but powerful truth: He shares the Gospel with others and lay hands on them to heal because Jesus said to do so.

152. Aiming for Something Bigger
Scriptures Reviewed: Numbers 13; Prov. 11:30; Heb. 8; II Cor. 3:9. Discipleship Points: The three resolutions or goals for 2025 were reviewed. Believers are exhorted to aim & dream bigger in 2025, a separate resolution/goal. Numbers 13 is studied in depth as two Israelite leaders believed they could take the Promised Land while most saw and believed themselves as small and incapable. Knowing who we are and what we have in Him will spur today's believers beyond their fears, doubts and "grasshopper thinking."

151. An Amazing Grace Testimony #2
Scriptures Reviewed: Heb. 11:5; He. 13:15-16; Isa. 56:4; John 8:29. Discipleship Points: Believers can please God. As we do the simple things, go to church, read the Word, fellowship and more, we are pleasing and blessing the heart of God. Gary shares points from the testimony from the previous program and notes how this testimony has blessed and touched the lives of others.

150. An Amazing Grace Testimony
Scriptures Reviewed: Psalm 103:2-5; Heb. 1:1-2; II Cor. 5:6; Heb. 9:27. Discipleship Points: Jesus asked all believers to go into all the world to preach and teach the Gospel. With Manny asking question, Gary shares an amazing grace encounter with an LDS lady on flight to Salt Lake City. The two shared their faiths for over an hour. This was truly amazing as Gary shared 30-40 scriptures along with addressing 7-8 major LDS doctrines...all with the help of the Holy Spirit bringing things to mind.

Scriptures Reviewed: John 15:7 Discipleship Points: Review of three resolutions; encouraging all of us to dream bigger in 2025; story of Copelands being called to the TV ministry and how they went from this is so big to having faith come and going on TV seemed easy. Key point: the Copelands kept praying until faith and an answer came. Gary shared spiritual victories and movement in his family members.

148. Standing in Liberty #6
Scriptures Reviewed: John 13:3-11; Psalm 1:2-3; 35:27; 37:4-5. Discipleship Points: Manny and Gary shared three resolutions for listeners: (1) Walk securely - we have eternal life; (2) know there is no condemnation for us; (3) Study & Meditate on the Word regularly. The verses reviewed talk of Jesus telling His disciples they are clean all over = eternally saved. Verses from Psalms speak of those who delight themselves in the Lord and in the Word will see their desires come to pass and will have success.

147. Standing in Liberty #5
Scriptures Reviewed: Eph. 3:20; Heb. 11:5-12; Rom. 4:3 Discipleship Points: Believers should build themselves up in the Lord, distancing themselves from negativity and self-doubt; Believers should dream big dreams as God is very big and He is able to do above all we ask or think; those from Hebrews 11 counted Him faithful, doing far beyond what they normally could do; Sarah received strength to conceive and Abraham, as could as dead, was the father of more sons and daughters than there are grains of sand or stars in the sky.

146. Standing in Liberty #4
Scriptures Reviewed: Phil 1:6 Discipleship Points: Recap of points from last program (1) Meditate on the Word; (2) Benefits of meditating on Word; (3) Those rebuilding the law are transgressors; (4) Establish our-selves on Jesus's payment and on God's grace. Other ministries taught on the same, confirming them. Salvation needs to be properly understood as a wrong focus brings much self-effort, condemnation, & judgement. As we taught earlier, another ministry confirmed our spirits are perfect while our soul and body must be renewed & controlled.
