Goat Level Podcast

This podcast specializes in DC sports, the Philadelphia Eagles, current sports topics, and OU sports (mostly the main ones)

  1. 294

Episode 280 - Sooner baseball, Knicks, World Cup, United Bowl

In this episode, I start off by celebrating Sooner baseball's latest run to the championship. The Knicks final run was special, the parade was special too. The United bowl was fun even though DC lost. The World Cup has been really competitive and I enjoy that. Texas Tech and Brendan Sorsby split sounds like a win-win to me. The Wizards can't go wrong with either pick at #1. The Angel vs Izzy scuffle was an entertaining slow build up. Trae will be back even though he opted out. Jaylah King needs to be on the Sooners.

  2. 293

Episode 279 - AJ to the Pats drama, NBA Finals outlook, Sooner Softball

In this episode, I speak about the latest stall in the Eagles-Pats trade talk. I got Thunder vs Knicks in the finals with the Thunder winning. Knicks fans are hilarious. Sooner softball had a disappointment finish to their season but so did Mississippi State (the team that beat them). The Wizards and Mystics are building something special. I'll be at the United Bowl. The Nats are doing the best they've done in a while.

  3. 292

Episode 278 - Manifesting AJ Dybansta to the Wizards, March Madness, Jalen Hurts offseason rant

The Wizards could definitely use AJ Dybansta. Angel Reese was traded to the Atlanta Dream during the show prompting a WNBA tangent. March Madness delivered once again. The East regional in DC was everything I had hoped for. The Eagles drama only happens when they lose. The Randolph Childress beast mode ACC tournament is ruined for me. The local DC spring teams are already taking L's.

  4. 291

Episode 277 - WNBA back, Wizards, Eagles, March Madness

In this episode, I start off by reacting to the new agreement that the WNBA and WNBAPA have reached. Justin Fields is on the chiefs and I'm happy for him. The Maxx Crosby situation was wild. The Eagles losing players in free agency sucks but I like who they have brought in on the flipside. Wish the Sooner men made the tournament. Proud of Howard. Love the East region. Dominican Republic fans need to quit the excuses.

  5. 290

Episode 276 - NFL Moves, DC High School basketball rabbit hole, March Madness

In this episode, I gave opinions on some of the NFL free agent and trade moves. I watched way more high school basketball than expected. Trae Young's debut was fun. March Madness is coming and I'm excited. Sooner men's basketball needs more love.

  6. 289

Episode 275 - Super Bowl/All-Star weekend thoughts, NBA Tanking, March Madness, crazy DMV basketball weekend

In this episode, I gave my final thoughts about the Super Bowl and NBA all-star weekend. NBA tanking talk is a little overblown. Need to leave the Wizards alone. March Madness is heating up. Basketball in the DMV this weekend is going to be insane. Mick Cronin was trippin! Jerome Tang did not deserve to be fired "with cause". Deland Mccullough makes me excited about Sooner Football in 2026

  7. 288

Episode 274 - Super Bowl Preview part 2!

In this episode, I discuss the super bowl matchup more in depth. I dump some more notes, share some convos I had with chatGPT, gave my betting choices, gave my score predictions and even discussed Bad Bunny

  8. 287

Episode 273 - EMERGENCY EPISODE: ANTHONY DAVIS TO THE WIZARDS

Anthony Davis is a Wizard and I'm excited! I discuss everything about the trade and what it means for the future. Giannis is leaving the Bucks but yet I'm more worried about the mysterious draft lottery. Owen Heinecke should be able to comeback for one more year but will be fine in the NFL regardless. I concluded by giving my reaction to Jeff Stoutland retiring.

  9. 286

Episode 272 - Super Bowl preview part 1, Eli-Belichick HOF talk, more 2016 memories

In this episode, I gave my initial thoughts about this year's super bowl. Bill Belichick not being first ballot makes no sense but Eli Manning getting denied a second time makes perfect sense. People are hatin on Shedeur as usual. Arizona vs BYU lived up to the hype with a terrible ending. Mavs-Hornets was a huge surprise. So glad John Wall got his jersey retired. Sean Mannion as the Eagles coordinator is interesting to me. Kansas vs OU basketball 2016 was amazing but also had a terrible ending. The 2012 Sooners still frustrate me to this day!

  10. 285

Episode 271 - NFL championship weekend, CFP Title, Mackenzie Gore trade, 2009 and 2016 memories

In this episode, I start off discussing the inconsistency of the 2025-2026 Charlotte Hornets. Then, I get into NFL playoff talk and reminisce about CFP title game. I compared the work ethic of the GOAT Level podcast and Nightcap. The Mackenzie Gore trade shocked me at first but now I'm coming around to it. I finished off the show by sharing my memories of playing against Good Counsel in 2009 and my roller coaster 2016 year.

  11. 284

Episode 270 - End of the bird in 2025-2026, Ice Trae da gang in DC

In this episode, I start off by unloading all my thoughts about the 2025 Philadelphia Eagles. I also send shots to NFC East rivals. Trae Young is coming to DC and I'm beyond excited. I named my NBA point guard Mount Rushmore. I gave props to a particular Sugar Bowl official. I named my favorite madden ever. Unrivaled once again is not disappointing.

  12. 283

Episode 269 - NFL Playoff talk, College Football Playoff talk, Nats title or Commanders title?

In this episode, I began by once again talking about the NFL playoff picture. I discuss potential matchups, along with my confidence in the Eagles. The AFC continues to not put fear in my heart for the Super Bowl. The College Football Playoff has an interesting trend. Alabama got dominated. USC had the most hilarious loss. I'd much rather have another Nats title before another Commanders title.

  13. 282

Episode 268 - Eagles vs Bills live reaction, NFL playoff picture, Bowl games in August?

I recorded the majority of this episode during the Eagles vs Bills game. I talk about the Eagles victory and their playoff outlook. I talked about the clear playoff picture in the NFL. The NFL matched up very well against the NBA on Christmas but of course, the best game was at the end of the night. Finally gave my thoughts about the Sooners' playoff loss. What would week 0 bowl games look like? The Wizards are hoopin now and it's fun to watch

  14. 281

Episode 267 - Everybody (NFL) is overrated

In this episode, I "congratulate" the Cowboys on their recent success. I go through the list of NFC and AFC contenders, finding fault in them all. The Eagles have problem but can still make and win the super bowl. The refs need to pay more attention to obvious block in the back penalties. Shedeur mania got to me. The Sooners will most likely make the playoffs and I'm pumped. I made fun of Texas in the process. The Wizards are trash but I still see the positive.

  15. 280

Episode 266 - Eagles still on top, tush push rant, NBA back, gambling scandal

In this episode, I talk about how the Eagles are doing this season while taking shots at rivals. I reviewed the NFC and AFC standings. I gave another epic tush push rant. I'm very worried about the Sooners after their last two losses. College football has gone crazy with all the firings. The NBA is back with a vengeance and I love it. I'm somehow excited about the Wizards again after their performance vs Dallas. The NBA gambling scandal is troublesome and could cause the whole industry to crumble. I share a story about my adult sports adventures this past Sunday. I finished off the episode by giving my MNF prediction.

  16. 279

Episode 265 - Reminiscing over some stories from my time at OU + a bonus high school story

In this episode, I start off talking about the mystics and their latest missteps. The Nats beat the Mets and I love it. Brian Robinson got traded. 37U football is hilarious. At the end I spent a ton of time talking about OU sports stories from 10-15 years ago.

  17. 278

Episode 264 - ESPN Fantasy Football draft live

I participate in a fantasy football draft during a live recording of the show!

  18. 277

Episode 263 - Boxing is hilarious

In this episode, I start off by discussing the news of the day, the Tank Davis-Jake Paul fight. I dismissed and made fun of it. John Wall retired and I gave him flowers. Also gave flowers to Cam Newton while rehashing his podcast beef with Gillie the kid. Nats lost to the Mets. Mystics lost to the worst team in the league. Oh and Jalen Hurts for MVP.

  19. 276

Episode 262 - The NFL preseason got me man

It's good to be back on the mic! Spoke a lot about NFL preseason news. Laughed at my NFC East rivals. I got into Shedeur Mania. I also got into some fantasy football talk. The Nats suck but I'm still going to the games and believing in the young talent. The Mystics' direction is clear after their latest moves and they're still in the playoff race.

  20. 275

Episode 261 - Side eyeing the Lerners

The MLB all-star game and home run derby was dope. Cal Raleigh is having a special year. Still trying to figure out what the Nats are doing but belief in the young players is strong. NBA dynasties or parity? that is the question. I congratulate OKC on the title. I talked about the draft, specifically the wizards and the direction they are headed. The Mystics are mid but I'm excited about their rookies. More 2013 Seahawks vs 2024 Eagles talk. Jalen Hurts MVP bet is not a bad one to take.

  21. 274

Episode 260 - NBA Finals, WCWS, WNBA, DC Defenders, Desmond Bane trade

Recorded this episode on two different days. Talked about the latest WNBA standings and the return of Caitlin Clark. Talked a little bit about the NBA Finals. Discussed my latest Nats experience. Checked in on DC pro soccer teams. DC Defenders went BTA on the Michigan Panthers. The Desmond Bane trade is wild but somehow a lesson in faith. I concluded by discussing a hypothetical 2024 Eagles vs 2013 Seahawks matchup.

  22. 273

Episode 259 - NFL schedule release, NBA draft lottery reaction, NBA Playoffs, 2024 Eagles top 5?

Catching on some things such as the NBA draft lottery, the NFL schedule release, the Caps lost again. Tush push issue shouldn't be a thing. Giannis might be leaving Milwaukee. The NBA playoffs is interesting. On paper, the 2024 Eagles aren't a top 5 team of all-time but if the game was played in real life, I'd like their chances against most of these legendary teams. The Mystics are ahead of schedule.

  23. 272

Episode 258 - NBA Playoffs, Pickens trade, NFL draft, RFK, Carr retiring

Started off by summarizing the NBA playoffs as best I could. George Pickens going to the Cowboys is interesting, but it might not matter in the end. I gave my NFL draft thoughts. I'm just as hype for the RFK remake as everyone else. The NFL draft in DC seems like a dream but could be a traffic nightmare when it actually happens. I discussed Derek Carr's retirement. I gave my stories about the latest Nats games I went to. Hope the Caps complete the revenge tour.

  24. 271

Episode 257 - Kyren Lacy, Masters, Ovi, Final Four

The Warriors vs Grizzlies is insane. RIP Kyren Lacy. Happy for Rory. Blessed that Ovi broke the record for the Capitals. The men's final four was way better than the women's final four. NBA front offices are crazy. I gave NBA playoff predictions. I ran into Ohio State's football team at the Lincoln memorial. Excited about the Mystics rebuild. 2023 Eagles or 2007 Giants?

  25. 270

Episode 256 - OU basketball, NCAA tournament, Lebron vs Stephen A

In this episode, I started off with discussing big moves by OU men's and women's basketball. I talked about the NCAA tournament, especially my visit to Cleveland. The Memphis Grizzlies fired their coach and I don't understand why. Stephen A vs Lebron is unbelievable and I can't believe this is real life. I also have some debate questions at the end.

  26. 269

Episode 255 - Deebo to the Commanders, OU basketball w/Buddy Hield memories, NBA, Tank vs Roach

In this episode, I start off by discussing the Deebo Samuel trade. Darius Slay might be leaving once again. OU men's basketball is on the bubble and it's not looking good. OU women's basketball, however, is trending in the right direction. The Buddy Hield era was a lot of fun but ended horribly. I want to see Cleveland vs OKC in the NBA finals. I like the direction the Wizards are headed, despite the losses. I knew nothing about Lamont Roach until after the fight. I overlooked the importance of the Tank vs Roach fight but I won't the next time!

  27. 268

Episode 254 - Eagles fan victory lap, All-Star weekend, March Madness prep

I spent most of this episode talking about the Eagles and their super bowl run. I talked about how this team was assembled and dishing out "I told you so's". I talked about the Super Bowl game itself, the halftime show and the parade. I also look ahead to next year, hoping its not a repeat of 2025. All-Star weekend wasn't as bad as people made it out to be in my opinion. I concluded by looking ahead to March Madness, talking about sleepers and potential champions.

  28. 267

Episode 253 - Eagles, Super Bowl, NBA/WNBA moves, NHL standings

Taking a victory lap from the conference championship. I also gave my super bowl preview. Some crazy NBA trades and WNBA offseason moves. OU women's basketball had a good finish vs LSU but ultimately, the team needs work if they want to go far in the tournament. The capitals are actually good this year and I'm happy!

  29. 266

Episode 252 - Eagles vs Commanders hype, OKC Thunder flowers, National Championship predictions

In this episode, I gave my thoughts about the upcoming Eagles vs Commanders NFC championship game. I also gave my thoughts on the AFC matchup. The Oklahoma City Thunder are big time title contenders. OU men's and women's basketball have disappointed me recently. I highly doubt that Notre Dame wins the National Championship vs Ohio State. Thoughts and prayers to everyone effected by the wildfires!

  30. 265

Episode 251 - Eagles, Saquon, Commanders, Wizards, CFP

In this episode, I start off talking about the Eagles' finish to the season. I disagree with resting Saquon but I'm all for a super bowl title, if this results in one. The Commanders should know their role but they're still a tough out in the playoffs. The Wizards winning games is making me lose track of the bigger picture. I finally gave the Cavs their flowers. The New Orleans tragedy is sad and makes me worry. The college football playoff is improving. I covered a few more topics after that, including the Sooners and Mike Vick vs Desean Jackson.

  31. 264

Episode 250 - CFP, Eagles, Wizards, Nats #1 pick and more

In this episode, I start off by blasting the college football playoff. The Eagles are still on a roll. Had to send a message to Steelers and Celtics fans. Sooner basketball has a lot of potential. The NBA Cup was bittersweet, but I can live with it. The Wizards might win more games to close out 2024 than I thought. I'm mad Juan Soto went to the Mets but I'm excited for the Nats #1 pick. Happy for Travis Hunter and Mike Vick.

  32. 263

Episode 249 - Eagles, Commanders vs Cowboys, Thanksgiving games

In this episode, I start off by declaring the NFL MVP race over. I heap tons of praise on to Saquon Barkley. Ravens vs Eagles super bowl looks imminent and this Sunday is a preview. Commanders vs Cowboys was hilarious. I gave live commentary about the Lions vs Bears and predicted the other games. Shoutout to Sooner football for their big victory. Wizards are terrible. The spirit lost the title game but the future is bright.

  33. 262

    Eagles vs Commanders minisode

Couldn't help it. Had to hop on the mic to hype up Eagles vs Commanders. I also took shots at the Cowboys and Giants.

  34. 261

Episode 248 - Marshon Lattimore, NFC East race, Wizards

In this episode, I talk about the biggest move of the NFL trade deadline. The NFC East race is far from over. I like the development of the young wizards. Sooner football trying to regress back to the 90's. I gave my updated college football playoff predictions. The Washington Spirit are back in the playoffs and I plan on going to the semi-finals if they make it.

  35. 260

Episode 247 - Bird Super Bowl hopes, Flip Cup team actually playing some football, WNBA

The Eagles are on a bye but I still have hopes they will make the Super bowl vs the Ravens. The Washington Flip Cup team is for real and makes a now loaded NFC East more interesting. I made a new NFL top 10 teams list. I have my doubts about the Red River Shootout but I'm hoping Sooner Magic will prevail once again. College Football was wild last week. I gave my current CFP predictions. The Mets having success annoys me but one Mets fan almost softened my heart. The WNBA playoffs is looking a lot like the In-Season tournament.

  36. 259

Episode 246 - Bird Super Bowl hopes, OU football memories/college gameday, WNBA

In this episode, I start off by reaffirming my super bowl prediction. I gave a quick prediction of the Eagles-Falcons MNF game. I struggled to make another NFL top 10 teams list. I discussed some college football, including the Sooners. The 8th spot in the WNBA is up for grabs and the race is interesting. Shannon Sharpe is hilarious and blessed.

  37. 258

Episode 245 - College Football, WNBA and more (recorded before KC/BAL ending)

In this episode, I start off sending my condolences to the family of the Gaudreau brothers. College Football is off to a great start. The WNBA is coming down the home stretch. I discussed the Caitlin Clark vs Sheryl Swoopes situation. Angel Reese has a new podcast and I like it. Deja vu with the Nats. The contract holdouts in the NFL are interesting. I gave my top 10 NFL teams with super bowl predictions. I also addressed more bird disrespect.

  38. 257

Episode 244 - Olympics, Alex Sarr, Nationals, NFL worst to first

This episode starts by telling people to respect da bird as the NFL season starts. The Olympics has been fire, great for sports fans. The Nats roller coaster takes another turn. Stop sleeping on Alex Sarr and Bronny. I give my pick of what NFL is most likely to go from worst to first this season. I'm sick about missing out on NCAA 25.

  39. 256

Episode 243 - Nats, DC United, Sooners to SEC, IFAF, WNBA Tiers

In this episode, I talk about my experiences at the Nats and DC United games respectively. OU Athletics celebrated their move to the SEC and I'm excited. Team USA lost in American Football is very interesting to me. I gave my latest WNBA power rankings. Finally, it would be cool to see the NFL in DC.

  40. 255

Episode 242 - Nats, Mystics, Caitlin Clark, Sooner Softball, NBA Finals

I started off this episode by talking about the Nats' latest victory vs the Braves, along with their playoff hopes. The Mystics are struggling but it was fun to watch Caitlin Clark live. I gave my take on the Caitlin Clark/Chennedy Carter/WNBA drama. Sooner Softball won and I'm so proud of them. Game 1 of the NBA finals was a joke but I wouldn't write off the Mavs just yet. Justin Jefferson's contract raises eyebrows. Dan Hurley potentially going to the Lakers draws skepticism from me. I concluded by introducing "I'M HIM entertainment".

  41. 254

Episode 241 - NBA Playoffs, WNBA, College Softball, EST zone draft board

RIP Grayson Murray and Bill Walton. It's Boston's year but I'm still rooting for Dallas. WNBA started and the Mystics are a disappointment. The WNBA standings look very predictable right now. Disappointed in Miami OH softball. Sooners handled business. Nats have up and down but still better than last year. The Scheffler situation was nonsense. I did an eastern time zone city draft board with no surprise at the top!

  42. 253

Episode 240 - NFL schedule release reaction

In this episode, I start off by talking about birthday Sunday. Bills vs Ravens look intriguing for that weekend. I went on to discuss key NFL games, especially during the holidays. I finish the episode by giving my annual NFC East schedule predictions.

  43. 252

Episode 239 - NBA Playoffs, OU Softball, Korn Ferry Tour intro

In this episode, I finally gave my thoughts on being in the building for Game 5, Knicks vs 76ers at the Garden. I gave my other playoffs thoughts as well. Nats are out pacing the world series team in wins. OU Softball disappointed in bedlam but will bounce back. I finally know what the Korn Ferry tour is. The WNBA is coming to Toronto. Jimmy Johnson passed and it's not the one we were all thinking of. MAC softball tourney was fun. I share my Kalani Brown thoughts.

  44. 251

Episode 238 - Raegan Beers, NFL draft, NBA Playoffs

Raegan Beers coming to the Sooners is huge. Paid less attention to the draft than usual but I love what the Eagles did. Gave my thoughts on the NBA playoffs while preparing to watch one live. Nats aren't doing too bad, much better than the previous two years. Caps are all CAP once again. AJ and Devonta got paid, well deserved. I gave updates on two women's basketball players that I've covered in the past.

  45. 250

Episode 237 - NBA Play-In, Caps, WNBA draft

I started this episode off with my thoughts on the NBA play-in tournament. The Caps were "no cap" when it was crunch time. The WNBA draft was fire. Not as excited for the NFL draft but I hope the Eagles draft defensive players. The worst-case scenario for Jontay was manifested. Saylor Poffenbarger is on the move again.

  46. 249

Episode 236 - Final NCAA tourney thoughts, HVL love, Stefon Diggs HS story pt 2, Eagles vs Pack

In this episode, I addressed some things I missed like my thoughts on Hailey Van Lith, the UConn illegal screen, more information on playing against Stefon Diggs in HS. UConn men and South Carolina women were both dominant but where do they rank all-time? The Oregon State women's basketball exodus is fascinating. Eagles vs Packers is a great matchup to get up for in Brazil. Cam Newton visited Oklahoma in 2010?! The Caps are all Cap and might not make the playoffs. Wizards still trash but the right people are developing.

  47. 248

Episode 235 - Stefon Diggs, NCAA tourney, Nats, Rashee Rice

The news of Stefon Diggs going to the Texans broke right before recording, so I discussed that. I gave my thoughts on the Final Four matchups. Nats opening day was nice but ended in an L. Wizards had a nice win vs the Bucks. I was excited for OU-Texas softball. Rashee Rice was trippin!

  48. 247

Episode 234 - First weekend of march madness, Bears new offense, Shohei, Jontay

I spent most of this episode discussing the first weekend of the tournament. I had better brackets than last year but still a slight disappointment. Bears new offense just makes the NFC North much more competitive and fun to watch. The Titans are building a nice squad too. Still have some questions about the Shohei and Jontay situations. Nats futures game was not competitive but I appreciated being in the ball park and seeing all our top prospects on one field.

  49. 246

Episode 233 - March Madness, Pickett, Fields, Anna Miller update, Wizards still trash

March Madness is finally upon us and I spent half of the episode talking about that. I talked about what the early first four games, OU not making it and I gave bracket predictions. Anna Miller from Drake hit a game winner and I'm proud of her. I'm struggling to understand Kenny Pickett going to the Eagles. Justin Fields to the Steelers makes more sense than I thought. Wizards are trash, players are hurt. Washington Spirit already 0-1. DC United still mid at best.

  50. 245

Episode 232 - Eagles, NFL free agency, ACC 2nd round live

In this episode, I talked about the Eagles initial free agency moves. I also talked about the other moves in the NFL during this time. The two ACC games I saw at Capital One arena weren't bad at all. LSU-South Carolina women's basketball was amped once again. The Wizards' two game winning streak made me proud.
