Jesus, tired from his journey, sits by Jacob's well while his disciples go into town to buy food. The Samaritan woman came to draw water in the hottest part of the day, and Jesus asked her for a drink. Jesus purposely pursued her in the hottest part of the day without food or water and waited for her to show up. He asked her to give Him some water, knowing that she would know that she would feel unworthy of giving him anything. In His pursuit, He offered her something no man could give her, living water where she would never thirst again. I challenge you to pursue God today with intention by reading the story of the woman at the well and ask God to show you something new, to give you a fresh revelation of the passage.
