Bob is the former Director of Fitness and Wellness for Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. He is internationally known as a leader in the field of golf fitness and his programs have been recognized three years in a row (2021, 2022 and 2023) by the Golf Fitness Association of America. Bob holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and is a certified Golf Fitness Instructor through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). He also is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. In addition, he holds Certifications in Applied Functional Science and as a Functional Golf Specialist through the Gray Institute. Having worked in the fitness and wellness field for over 40 years, Bob brings to the table a passion for the game of golf and a genuine desire to help golfers play better, healthier golf. This unique combination sets him apart and has afforded him a wealth of hands-on experience that he relies upon when working with golfers to improve their game. Bob has worked with golfers of all skill levels and ages from junior golfers up through and including tour players.His book, Functional Golf Fitness Training, has been called "by far the best" and is a favorite among golfers, teaching professionals and coaches. He’s been featured in GOLFWEEK, the Maryland and Carolinas Golf Association magazines and frequently appears on golf talk radio shows.
