It was a summary of the entire 2025 season in one game for the Vols: Bad defense, inconsistent offense, untimely mistakes, a costly missed field goal and a defeat, Tennessee's fifth of the season. Where do Tennessee and Josh Heupel go from here? More are coming on the defensive staff and the transfer portal opens on Friday. Josh Heupel said the Vols will come back stronger in 2026 and have reasons for optimism, but it's a big offseason upcoming for the program.
