Story of Raavan: Power without Naam
PUNJABI: Recorded in 2020, this podcast explores the idea of power without truth and how the world around us quietly becomes a distraction. In our pursuit of status, wealth, and control, we remain trapped in what is temporary, even while knowing that when we leave this world, nothing material goes with us. Gurbani reminds us that the only true and lasting support is Naam, yet we often forget this and instead ask for worldly things. Through reflection on the story of Raavan as explained through Gurbani, we turn the lens inward, examining our own attachment to power, ego, and illusion. This episode invites us to recognize these patterns within ourselves and to rediscover the path that leads beyond maya, toward Truth (Sach) and genuine union with the Divine.

High on Truth: Escaping Substances, Embracing Shabad.
ENGLISH: An important topic in today's world as we reflect on Khalsa Sajna Diwas and the true teachings of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. A True Khalsa is someone who lives in alignment with the teachings of Gurbani and rises above the influence of Maya. While someone may outwardly appear to represent the Khalsa, their actions or message may not necessarily align with Gurmat. Unfortunately, such contradictions can have a significant impact on our community—especially on youth and young adults. This disconnect contributes to the growing issue of substance abuse, pulling individuals even further away from the essence of a True Sikh. Over time, this can also malign the image of our community in the public eye, misrepresenting what Sikhi truly stands for.
