Leadership Redefined: Michele Walthert’s journey from financial advisor to RIA leadership

Michele Walthert grew up in Switzerland. When her father suggested she "broaden her horizons" and go to college in the US, she moved to the States, got a crash course in the language from daytime talk shows, and ultimately graduated with a full time job lined up right before 9/11. Suddenly her path changed - as it did for so many - and she found herself as a receptionist in a financial firm learning the industry. She transitioned to client services then decided to pursue a career as a financial advisor. Now decades later, having become one of the country's top advisors (recently recognized by Forbes in 2023 as a Best in State Female Advisor) she stepped into her new role - as the Head of Advisor Success at Wealthspire Advisors. Here is Michele's story. IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE INFORMATIONWealthspire Advisors LLC and certain of its affiliates are separately registered investment advisers.
