The United Nations and other IGOs/NGOs are looked at as some bastion of global human rights, but in reality that's not the case. When discussing the Arab/Israeli conflict and the plight of the Palestinian people, the UN is often the cause of those problems or makes it worse. We also discuss war crimes and the Geneva Conventions, which are overseen by the UN. Israel does not commit war crimes, but Hamas does commit war crimes. The UN is notorious for the double standards in handing out condemnations and bringing up war crimes against Israel, but giving a blind eye to terrorist groups within the Palestinian territories.
