They were the first band signed by Cannabis Records (who would eventually become Hash Power Music). The Velvicks' sonic roots lay in Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, The Pixies, and Pink Floyd. Their first studio album, "Greatest Hits" was produced by the Foo Fighters' chief engineer, Lou Lousteu at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Studio B!The album harkens back to a time of unapologetic rock and roll. Where rebels fought and rockers fucked. These were the Golden Years. Side A (1-7) is pure intensity.
