We welcome back Head Lynch to the Hands On Records label family. Hailing from Ireland and with a long history in the electronic music scene. His first release titled 'Mantra' gained support and plays from Westbam, Dr Motte, Anthony Pappa, Matt Handy, Pablo Gargano and more. We now present 'Sudden Love' a deep emotional journey into the more progressive deeper sound! WORDS FROM THE ARTIST: Sudden Love came out of a session where I was diving deep into vocal samples-cutting them up, stretching, layering them to build texture. I wanted to create something that felt emotional but still had a groove. The chopped vocals became the backbone-almost like the main melodic line or hook of the track. Some turned into lush pads, others into rhythmic stabs that brought movement and space to the track. The surprise moment when the 'Sudden Love' vocal cuts through adds a real emotional lift-it's that unexpected element that pulls everything together. About halfway through, the track opens up completely. A middle section of sustained strings and airy pads lets it breathe-gives the listener a moment to settle into the atmosphere. From there, it slowly builds again, layering textures and tension until it reaches a kind of emotional crescendo. By the end, the vocal morphs into a soaring, synth-like melody that carries the whole thing upward, with a wobbly, pitch-bending bassline adding just the right amount of grit and movement underneath. Sudden Love is a track built for reflection and release-something to get lost in, whether it's through headphones or in a more immersive setting. An atmospheric intro to start the track off as it starts to build with clever vocal snippets and some sweeping darker undertones. Subtle grooves and warm basslines elevate the track further as it grows and the journey really begins. We are pleased to welcome these great artists to the Hands On Records family. Both independant producers in their own right for quite some time. Gareth 2Dark and Latex Zebra joined forces in 2019 producing Progressive House and Trance. With releases and remixes on Light Side Music and Radiation Recordings with a forthcoming remix on Digitized Recordings. Jennie Osborn has provided vocals for some of Trance and Hard Dance's biggest names including K90, S.H.O.K.K. and Bodo Kaiser. 'That Feeling' is a beautiful journey into warm progressive house/trance with an emotional dreamy vocal and uplifting feel. A simple but effective bassline drives the track along with great effect and softly spoken vocals snippet creep in before the main breakdown. A stunning trance riff lifts it to the next level when the beautiful voice of Jennie Osborn comes into the full. Belgium producer 'Gemini Jack' steps up next with a slightly stripped back slower paced remix, crisp beats and percussion and a deep warm bassline. Beautiful use of the vocal and dreamy keys build the track in a subtle way and lift the mood as it progresses. UK producers 'Send & Return' finish the EP with a much deeper progressive remix with great atmospherics, echoing sounds and a subtle bassline that harks back to the days of old 90's deep progressive house music. Belgium producers Gemini Jack aka Ordin Air and Zohm collaborate together to bring you Omni Bomba. A 2 track EP with 2 slightly different remixes. A smooth progressive journey with a driving feel. The Original mix starts with some great atmospherics, subtle piano licks and a great sweeping synth giving the track a lovely deep melodic trance feel. The warm groove of the bassline really picks the tracks energy up along nicely before dropping into a lovely breakdown section. Definitely a subtle beautiful journey which would easily suit a set as a warm up or in the afterhours. The Kiss The Sky remix takes things up a notch with harder beats and a more hypnotic rhythm. Nice crisp percussion and a slightly more techno feel really drives the track along well, before dropping into a beautiful breakdown with nice key changes on the main melody which build the energy further. Both tracks are definitely ones to lose yourself within. Gemini Jack A.K.A Orden Air, formerly known as DJ Sense, ex-resident of the Antwerp techno concept 'Metrotechno' Born and raised in the suburbs of Antwerp in Brasschaat, Belgium. DJing since he was 15 years old and in his early 20's was already spinning the wheels of steel under the name 'Sense' in Antwerp's finest bars, clubs, concert halls and festivals such as Cafe D'Anvers, Industria, De Cinema, Cherry Moon, Hof ter lo and Antwerp is burning, City Parade to name a few. His music styles mainly vary from house to techno, but also plays lots of Retro because of his lifelong intrest in the legendary Belgian dance scene. In 2003 he started producing, house, techno and all sort's of other club tracks and is currently also working on side projects with A.K.A Zohm, The Wizard's Of Bozz, Fordbroke and last but not least his own alter ego called 'Ordin Air' of which there is more music coming soon. His debut release on Hands On Records 'Gemini Jack - Oxygen EP' is a journey into progressive melodic house across 3 tracks. The title track 'Oxygen' opens up with some great keys and atmospheric sounds before dropping into a great bassline groove, then slowly building the energy and stripping back with some great percussion. Rising synths and subtle sounds build as the track drops back into a minimal groove with a great drive. Definitely a track to lose yourself for a while. 'Discovery' begins with a more oldskool feel, solid beats and minimal melodic groove. Crisp percussion and a techy tribal feel start taking you on a journey as it slowly builds introducing some great soaring angelic sounds in the background. Subtle key changes, echoing bass licks and atmospheric chimes take the journey deeper. A great driving atmospheric track that easily fits in between a few styles. 'Maze' trance elements of old 90's sounds are echoing throughout this track, full of beautiful simple and subtle melodies. Warm deep basslines are introduced and massive crescendos build the energy. A fantastic track to finish off the 'Oxygen EP' and one that really has an oldskool feel.
