Conversation with Carl Rose: Canada Soccer's First Person of Color
Welcome Back to Hangin' Cleats, In this episode we have a conversation with Carl Rose. In 1975, Mr. Carl Rose was the first person of colour to represent Canada Soccer's National Teams in a competitive match After making his international debut in July, Carl Rose represented Canada at the 1975 Pan American Games in Mexico, featuring in matches against Jamaica and Argentina. A year later, he represented Canada at the Montréal 1976 Olympic Football Tournament and featured against the Soviet Union at Olympic Stadium.

Canada Moves to the Top of CONCACAF
Welcome Back to Hangin' Cleats, After beating Mexico 2-1 in Edmonton, Canada is now at the top of the table in World Cup Qualifiers. In their third matchup against El Tri, Cyle Larin scored two goals past Ochoa. The match was played in Edmonton, Alberta in front of a crowd of more than 40,000 fans.
