hat if the thing keeping you from growing isn’t your situation—but the belief that you need a different one?In this message, Paul reminds the Corinthian church that spiritual maturity is not found in changing external circumstances, but in remaining faithful to God right where you are. Whether rich or poor, married or single, influential or overlooked—our identity is not rooted in status, season, or success. It is rooted in Christ.Paul challenges the lie that fulfillment, purpose, or godliness begin “once life finally changes.” Instead, he calls believers to pursue God in the middle of their current reality and trust Him with the season they’re in.This message speaks directly to comparison, discontentment, unmet expectations, and the pressure to measure your life against the world’s standards. Because when we allow culture to define our worth, we become enslaved to expectations God never placed on us.The invitation is simple but powerful: remain with God where He has you—and let Him form you there.North Fargo | 05/10/2026 | Pastor Nate Leedahl | 1 Corinthians 7:17–24 | Set Apart Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! What is shaping your view of relationships—culture or God’s design? In this message, Paul addresses confusion around marriage, singleness, and sexuality in a culture pulling people to extremes. Some believed the body didn’t matter. Others believed it should be completely suppressed. Paul brings clarity: God’s design is good, intentional, and life-giving.Marriage is not about taking, but giving. Not convenience, but covenant. Not consumerism, but sacrificial love. And singleness is not lesser—it’s a gift with purpose.Paul also speaks into real-life complexity—mixed-faith marriages, separation, and the tension of living faithfully in imperfect situations. His encouragement is steady: remain faithful, pursue peace, and trust God with what you cannot control. This message calls us back to a simple but powerful truth: when our identity is rooted in Christ, it reshapes how we love, commit, and build our families.North Fargo | 05/03/2026 | Pastor Nate Leedahl | 1 Corinthians 7:1–16 | Set Apart Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! Who defines your identity? In this message, Paul confronts the confusion surrounding freedom, sexuality, and identity in the Corinthian church—questions that still shape our culture today. While the world says, “Follow your heart” and “My body, my choice,” Paul reminds believers of a deeper truth: you were bought with a price. This passage is not just about rules or behavior. It’s about understanding who you are in Christ. Your body is not meaningless or disposable—it is sacred, joined to Christ, and a temple of the Holy Spirit. Paul reframes what true freedom really means. Freedom is not doing whatever we want. Freedom is being mastered by nothing except Christ. Instead of conforming to cultural slogans, believers are called to live from their identity as people who belong to Jesus. This message challenges us to think differently about our bodies, our choices, and our relationship with God—and reminds us that holiness flows from knowing whose we are. What does the way you handle conflict say about your faith? In this message, Paul addresses believers taking each other to court—but the issue runs deeper than legal systems. It’s about identity, heart, and witness. In a culture driven by status, pride, and public image, the Corinthian church was handling conflict just like the world—and it was damaging their witness. Paul calls them back to something greater. As people who belong to Christ, we are invited to live differently—to pursue humility over pride, reconciliation over self-advancement, and transformation over winning. This message challenges us to examine how we handle tension, conflict, and offense—and whether our lives reflect the gospel we claim to believe. Because when we forget who we are in Christ, it shows. And when we remember, everything changes.North Fargo | 04/19/2026 | Pastor Randy Hahne | 1 Corinthians 6:1-11 | Set Apart Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! Set Apart | I Corinthians 5:1–13 // Horace
What happens when the church starts looking just like the world? In this message, Paul addresses a hard but necessary topic—sin inside the church. Not to shame, but to call God’s people back to who they are: set apart, holy, and belonging to Him. While culture normalizes and celebrates sin, Paul makes it clear—the church cannot be passive. Tolerance without truth leads to compromise, and compromise spreads. Like yeast through dough, what we allow shapes who we become. This teaching brings clarity to a confusing moment: we are not called to withdraw from the world, but we are called to be different from it. Our identity in Christ shapes how we live, how we respond to sin, and how we care for one another. At its core, this message is about protecting what is sacred, pursuing holiness, and becoming a church that truly reflects Jesus—full of both grace and truth.Horace | 04/12/2026 | Pastor Randy Hahne | I Corinthians 5:1–13 | Set Apart Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! Living Hope | 1 Peter 1:3–7 // Easter
What if real change is actually possible? What if hope is not just a feeling, but something solid you can stand on? In this Easter message, we walk through 1 Peter 1:3–7 and the powerful truth that because Jesus rose from the dead, we are given a living hope. This is not self-improvement or trying harder. It is new birth. A fresh start initiated by the mercy of God. Pastor unpacks some of the biggest questions people wrestle with:Can I actually change? Is there real hope for my life right now?Is there anything beyond this life?Do I have to walk through life alone? Why does life feel so broken? Through the resurrection, we see that hope is not wishful thinking. It is grounded in a real moment in history. Because Jesus walked out of the grave, new life is possible, our future is secure, and we are not alone in our trials. This message is a reminder that no matter your past, your questions, or what you’re walking through right now, hope is alive. The King is Here | John 12:12–19 // North Fargo
What kind of King are you expecting? On Palm Sunday, the crowd welcomed Jesus with celebration—waving palm branches and shouting “Hosanna,” hoping for a political Savior who would bring immediate victory. But Jesus came differently than expected—riding on a donkey, not a war horse—revealing a King who brings peace, humility, and salvation through sacrifice. In this message, we explore the tension of Palm Sunday: the difference between what people wanted Jesus to be and who He actually is. While the crowd was excited, their understanding was shallow. The disciples were confused. The Pharisees were resistant. And the same is true today—everyone responds to Jesus, but not everyone truly understands Him.This message invites you to reflect on your own response. Are you following Jesus for what He can give you, or for who He truly is?Because the King has come—and He is coming again.North Fargo | 03/29/2026 | Pastor Peter Olson | John 12:12–19 | The King is HereThank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! We would love to hear how God spoke to you through this message! If you’d like to learn more about our church, you can find us at our website or on Facebook and Instagram. Have you stopped growing without even realizing it?In this message, Paul confronts a subtle but dangerous mindset in the Corinthian church—thinking they had already “arrived.” Their pride, comfort, and desire for status were keeping them from real spiritual growth.Paul contrasts their self-perception with the reality of following Christ. While they pursued recognition and ease, Paul points to a life marked by humility, sacrifice, and faithfulness—even when it’s misunderstood by the world. This passage exposes common growth barriers we still face today: complacency, performance without transformation, avoiding discomfort, and consuming truth without living it out. It’s a call to return to humility and keep growing. At the heart of this message is a powerful reminder: we don’t just need more content or influence—we need spiritual fathers and mothers who walk with us, challenge us, and help form Christ in us. What truly matters when your life is finished? In this message, we explore Paul’s warning about worldly wisdom and why it has the power to damage both our lives and the church. While the world celebrates self-sufficiency, status, comfort, and pride, God’s wisdom calls us to humility, dependence on Him, and lives shaped by the cross.Paul reminds believers that the church is not just a place we attend. Together we are God’s temple, a sacred community where His Spirit dwells. Because of that, we are called to build something eternal. This passage challenges us to reject the wisdom of the world, embrace God’s wisdom, and live as faithful servants and stewards of the gospel. What kind of life are you building? In this message, Paul confronts the Corinthian church about their spiritual immaturity. Though they belonged to Christ, jealousy, division, and worldly thinking were keeping them stuck when God intended them to grow.Paul reminds us that leaders are only servants—one plants, another waters—but God is the one who brings the growth. He also gives a powerful picture: every one of us is building something with our lives. The foundation is Jesus Christ, but the materials we choose will determine whether what we build lasts for eternity. If you’ve ever felt spiritually stuck, struggled to grow in your faith, or wondered what it means to build a life that truly matters, this message will challenge and encourage you to pursue maturity and invest in what lasts forever.North Fargo | 03/08/2026 | Pastor Nate Leedahl | 1 Corinthians 3:1-17 | Set Apart Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! How do you stay faithful to Christ in a culture that normalizes compromise?Paul reminds the Corinthians — and us — that worldliness happens when culture makes sin seem normal and righteousness seem strange. The pressure to conform is real, and immaturity leaves us vulnerable. So what’s the way forward?Trust the authority of God’s Word.Trust the power of the cross.Live by the wisdom of the Spirit — not the wisdom of the age.God is not looking for impressive people. He’s looking for consecrated people — those set apart for Him. When we cleanse, sacrifice, and dedicate our lives to Christ, we position ourselves for maturity and spiritual discernment. If you feel the tension of living faithfully in today’s world, this message will challenge and strengthen you.Be set apart.North Fargo | 03/01/2026 | Pastor Nate Leedahl | 1 Corinthians 2:6–16 | Set Apart Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! What is your faith actually resting on? In a world that prizes charisma, influence, and polished communication, Paul makes a bold statement: when he came to Corinth, he didn’t rely on impressive speech or persuasive arguments. He came with one central message — Jesus Christ and Him crucified. In this message, we explore why Paul intentionally embraced weakness, why the cross had to remain central, and why real transformation never comes from human wisdom alone. The power of the gospel isn’t in personality, platform, or presentation — it’s in the Spirit of God at work through the message of the cross. If faith is built on a person, it falters when that person fails. If it’s built on intellect, it wavers when challenged. But when faith rests on the power of God, it endures. Join us as we rediscover what it means to have a faith anchored not in human wisdom — but in the power of God. What if the very thing the world calls foolish is actually the wisdom that saves? In this week’s message, we continue in 1 Corinthians as Paul contrasts the wisdom of the world with the wisdom of God. In a culture obsessed with status, influence, intellect, and power, Paul boldly proclaims that the message of a crucified Savior is the power of God. To some, the cross is offensive. To others, it seems absurd. But to those being saved, it is everything. We explore why the cross confronts modern values like self-sufficiency, achievement, platform-building, and moral relativism. The world celebrates strength, autonomy, and résumé-building. The gospel calls us to surrender, humility, and grace. The world says, “Prove yourself.” The cross says, “Christ has done what you could not.”Paul reminds the Corinthian church—and us—that God intentionally chooses what the world considers weak, foolish, and insignificant to display His glory. Not many were wise, powerful, or of noble birth. Yet in Christ, we are given true wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. This message ultimately leads us to one question: What are you boasting in? Your intellect? Your strength? Your success? Or do you boast in knowing the Lord?Because in the end, the wisdom of God outlasts every system of this world—and the cross still holds the power.Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! We would love to hear how God spoke to you through this message! If you’d like to learn more about our church, you can find us at www.harvestvalley.church.North Fargo | 02/15/2026 | Pastor Randy Hahne | 1 Corinthians 1:18–31 | Set Apart Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! Or do you boast in knowing the Lord?Because in the end, the wisdom of God outlasts every system of this world—and the cross still holds the power.Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! We would love to hear how God spoke to you through this message! If you’d like to learn more about our church, you can find us at www.harvestvalley.church.Horace | 02/15/2026 | Pastor Peter Olson | 1 Corinthians 1:18–31 | Set Apart Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! Set Apart | I Corinthians 1:10-17 // Horace
Division didn’t start in the modern church—it was already tearing at the church in Corinth. In this message, Paul addresses a church fractured by preferences, personalities, and worldly ways of thinking. Believers were aligning themselves with favorite leaders—Paul, Apollos, Cephas—even claiming spiritual superiority—while losing sight of the One who actually holds the church together. Paul’s response cuts through the noise: Christ is not divided, and the church cannot be built on anything other than Him. This teaching invites us to examine how culture subtly shapes the way we think about leadership, success, and belonging in the church. Drawing from Romans 12:2, we explore what it means to be united in the same mind and judgment—a Christ-centered way of thinking shaped by the cross, not by status, style, or preference. Paul reminds the church that baptism, gifting, and growth were never meant to elevate individuals or create spiritual cliques. The power of the church is not found in eloquence, charisma, or technique, but in the message of Christ crucified. When the cross remains central, unity becomes possible. At the heart of this message is a searching question for every believer: Is Jesus enough to keep you—when personalities fade, platforms shift, and everything else is stripped away?Horace | 02/08/2026 | Pastor Randy Hahne | I Corinthians 1:10-17 | Set Apart Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church! Set Apart | I Corinthians 1:1-9 // North Fargo
Corinth was a thriving, influential city—and a moral mess. Sound familiar? In this message from 1 Corinthians 1:1–9, we step into the opening of Paul’s letter to a young, diverse, spiritually gifted church learning how to follow Jesus in a culture pulling them in every direction. Before correcting their behavior, Paul does something powerful: he reminds them who they are in Christ. This teaching explores identity before instruction—what it means to be sanctified, called saints, richly gifted, and sustained by a faithful God. Even in their immaturity and struggle, Paul declares that the church lacks nothing and that God Himself will hold them fast to the end.If you’ve ever felt tension between faith and culture—or wondered whether God is patient with a “hot mess” church—this message is for you.North Fargo | 02/01/2026 | Pastor Nate Leedahl | I Corinthians 1:1-9 | Set Apart Thank you for joining us at Harvest Valley Church!
