Head Full Of Radio

We get overwhelmed by sensations on this episode, and Nico wanted to take points off just because of how long the song was.. 

Nico.. wants.. Thom.. to.. "Get out of the way"?

Nico gets lost in Ed's haircut and Andrew gets lost in the crowd.

Strange Faces, Fun Times, Audience Participation, who could ask for anything more?

Things get awkward near the end, after we figure out what Thom's shirt says.

No, this song does not remind me of Shrek. That's a completely Nico related thing and I don't understand it either.

Nico has to sit up and pay attention to how Sweaty Thom is in this one.

Nico feels very two ways about this song - that it'd be great live, but also... 

We begin the review of the Hail To The Thief Live Recordings album - but more specifically, the videos uploaded to the Radiohead Youtube Page of that time period. 

Nico takes a lot of helium during his review of the song, and it starts to get very concerning. 

Phil planned the ending just specifically for Nico to make sure he knew where Nico's scores were going so far on this back end of the album. 

This might be the only time you hear Nico call Thom's vocals, "smouldering". 

We still haven't figured out where the "Wedding" portion of the song comes from, but at least the explanation of  "Punchup" makes sense.

"It felt a little bit like someone's having a bad time, and the energy in the room is uncomfortable. I felt like a person in that room."

Does anyone know what it means to not be given to groin easily?

"This feels like brown noise", Nico says, while immediately following that up with not knowing what brown noise is. 

"This sounds like a song you'd make with your friends.  Not to say that the average Joe Schmoe can do this, but it's got an element of Chaoticism to it"- Nico

Thom and Jonny go on vacation with their wives for three days and write a song while they're there. Did they stay at the hotel because they had a good idea, or? 

Thom is a big fan of Philip's drums in this song, so much that he calls them sexy, and Nico gets hung up on what's in Thom's mouth while he wears a cowboy hat. 

N: "I feel moon-y again"A: I feel like I'm in the snow, Under the moon"N: I'm in a snow-filled crater of the moon and there are aliens there and I can't see them properly". 

Did you know Colin feels very particular about how "Moonraker" this song is? Neither did we. But here we are!

"Who are you? I feel like someone's possessed Thom Yorke. It's like we've gone into the underground."

We begin Hail to the Thief today and discuss the bracketed subtitles. Nico thinks there's something familiar about this song but can't figure out why.

Dust off your bucket hat and your red solo cup for this one, friends. Nico is just chilling and bopping along at an imaginary show. 

Nico completely forgets about the ondez martinot and has to be reminded while he hears Thom breathing heavy. 

We finally get to experience the first in the Fog Trilogy, and the consensus is somewhere around,  "It's still sweet, but in that weird Radiohead way. Pleasant, but like I'm up and doing my morning routine now."

Sneaking in an extra episode before the Holiday! "It's not grabbing me and saying 'PAY ATTENTION', but I'm also not bored". That pretty much sums it up, doesn't it?
