As we've shared interviews with our confirmation students these last few weeks, one question remained: What would happen if those students talked to each other WITHOUT adults in the conversation?This is the result: A conversation between four girls about life and faith.  Thanks to our participants, Katie Johnson, Anna Leuning, Lydia Nelson, and Bergen Quello.  We already knew they were amazing, and here's your chance to hear why.Also, we debut new music from our amazing Matthew Tylutki, co-written with the OG Martin Luther.  Can you guess that tune?

In last week's episode, one of our confirmation students, Lydia, submitted her mom to a deadly gauntlet of questions.  In this episode, Lydia's classmate Bergen sits down with her mom Susan.  Halfway through the conversation, Susan turns  the tables on Bergen and asks her some of these same deep questions.   If you love hearing what Bergen has to say, tune in to Episode 6, where Lydia, Bergen, Anna (from Episode 2), and their classmate Katie have a roundtable conversation about God--with no adults to get in the way.

This is the latest in our series of recordings from our 2020 podcasting elective.  You've  already heard kids talk to pastors.  What happens when we turn them loose on their parents?Joining us in this episode are Lydia and Melissa Nelson.  These were supposed to be conversations, but you'll notice that Lydia prefers a different approach we might kindly call...interrogation.

Our confirmation program (with 6th-8th grade students) features spring electives where students pick a course of study that sounds interesting. Some students work hands-on with adult volunteers in the OSL wood shop.  Some learn about other faith traditions.  But what happens when some students ended up in a podcasting elective with Pr Justin--especially when they know nothing about podcasting?  In the first of a series, we hear conversation and stories from students in this class.
