Hear Me Out Pitch!

It's been a minute and we hope this will get the ball rolling again. Even though it is late in the evening. I just had to discuss one of my favorite movies on it's 30th Anniversary in theatres. The Hunchback of Notre Dame is one of my favorite Disney movies and means so much to me. Well howdy pitches! It has been a minute and we have moved recording studios! Well, we now have an official recording office and not in the middle of Willem's apartment. We are sorry for the hiatus and we are excited to be back and for this week's episode. Tim brought up a bare bones idea of a mage who could leech power from others. This turned into a rough draft of a villain origin story that we hope to visit again in the future. March was a month. With moving and Willem not checking equipment connection y'all are finally getting our story pitch from 3 weeks ago. We have to say that this episode was so much fun. Having source material on hand really helped us keep our tangents low and our creativity high. A woman, who at a young age become a were-wolf. Trained by the huntsman to become a hunter of those who share the same curse as her. A lot of Armaya's story has already been fleshed out by her creator. We simply discussed a few possibilities of her background along with specific scenes we would want to see in her story. More specifically the different orders of the Knights and where other characters of Brandon Sanderson's worlds would fit in the Orders. Of course a typical discussion between the boys would not be complete if they added characters from other universes and media. Happy Halloween Everyone! We all hope you enjoy this day of monsters, ghouls, and all things that go bump in the night. For this simple episode we have two little story ideas. A vampire thriller with a man allergic to the sun beating the clock to get home before the sun. The other being a cute story of a little ghost named boo is trying to fix his mask. We hope you enjoy these spoopy stories and wish you all a safe and fun Halloween.

A well working machine must have its parts in order. Every part has it's place and purpose. If there is no machine there is no purpose. The boys will dive into a story idea of Tim's where a lone village in a frozen wasteland will lose its hard and it will be up to one of the occupants to go and restore what was lost. Well we did not expect a discussion from a sentence to turn into not one, but two ideas for a video game trilogy following the first pitch of Episode 88 Loyal. The love of video games and stories really shines in this discussion as the boys go into the different turns, twists, and mechanics of this possible trilogy. We hope you enjoy the episode!

With Tim in Hawaii Willem took it upon himself to do a video solo for y'all. Sinners is a breath of fresh air and truly shows that there are still people out there who want to make an amazing story.

There is the saying that Justice is blind. What if all forms of justice were blind? Law enforcement, lawyers, judge, jury, and executioners. Join the boys as they dive into this world were the unwanted of the world are made to become a system where there will be no bias or ailments.

Well another day another original pitch. Tim has brought to the table an original word with it's own unique magic system. Hopefully you all will get this pitch in actually episodes to follow along to. Enjoy the episode!

The last time Tim or Willem went to a Marvel movie on opening weekend and left feeling good was over 2 years ago. This week is dedicated to this great movie that truly felt like seeing the light after so long in a creative slump, dare we say void.

Tim surprised us again with another science fiction story. He had a dream and woke up with this sentence in mind: Mars was once a planet full of life. The story that sprouted is very much a love letter to the genre and Willem had a wonderful time listening to it and we hope you all do as well.

Was the movie as terrible as the boys expected? Not quite. But was the theater atmosphere chaotic enough to mess with the vibe? Absolutely. In the end, it was a wild, silly ride that sparked a lively conversation about live-action films—and what the boys really want to see on the big screen in the future.

AI—will it be the end of us, or just another tool in the digital age? While we don’t know how long it’ll be before it takes over, the boys sadly had to bow down and turn to AI for some help. Why? Well, a certain fanbase might be a bit quiet... or maybe there is no fanbase at all right now. But hey, who’s counting? Regardless, AI stepped in with some fun questions, and the boys gave some pretty great answers. So, sit back and enjoy… or at least pretend to.(And no, this definitely isn’t a robot writing this for Willem. Absolutely not. Wink wink.)

Would we understand if they threw in the towel? Would we sympathize? Join us as the boys dive deep into the lives of some iconic characters from books, TV, and movies who deserved to have their moment of giving up. Spoiler: They might just have had a reason.

The boys went to see the newest Marvel Installment and both were surprised of how much they enjoyed it. Was it perfect? No. But could it be the start of Marvel setting up for something great in the future? Maybe.

What if you could imbue objects with power? The ability to make an object explode, freeze, burn, or even heal? The boys work together to come up with a story of magic cowboys and a man blessed with imbuing healing magic facing off against a crime syndicate family who bring fear, agony, and death. They didn't come up with an ending though so they'd love to hear y'all's ideas on how Chance the lifeslinger will defeat the Silver Death.

It's hard to believe that 20 years have passed so quickly. We are truly amazed by the enduring success and inspiration of this remarkable show. As we eagerly anticipate the upcoming series, we give a few suggestions for what we would love to see in the future.

It has been quite a wait to hear about Willem's take of Spiderman. With him planning 6 stories and this being the third in the series, the second that he made up, it is something worth the wait. With some great input from Tim part 1. is looking to be a unique take on the infamous spiderman villain Venom.

Sorry for coming up late with posting but Merry Christmas! Tim surprised us earlier this month with an original Christmas story that he wrote nearly a decade ago! This sweet story had to be shared and became the discussion of this episode. We hope you enjoy it.

When a movie is so packed with action clichés that you start losing track of what's happening, it's usually a sign that things have gone off the rails. It's like the film is stuck in a loop of predictable tropes. But don’t worry, the boys took a few notes, and with any luck, got some ideas that could help steer this film in a more exciting direction.

Apologies for the extended pause. This week, the boys have crafted a story that weaves together elements of fantasy with a nod to Shakespeare, exploring the intricate dynamics of close relationships and the profound tensions between betrayal and loyalty.
