EP 45 The Breakdown That Lead To The Breakthrough
For a while I couldn’t figure out why I kept avoiding making music.Every time I thought about recording again, something in me resisted. It felt strange… because music has always been one of the most powerful parts of my life. Then I realized something surprisingly simple. It wasn’t the music. It was my tools. My unstable laptop and constant technical issues had slowly drained the joy out of the creative process. Instead of feeling inspired, I felt frustrated before I even started. At the same time, I’ve been decluttering my life in a big way — my home, my studio, my schedule, and even the mental noise. And something interesting started happening. The more space I created, the more creativity started flowing again. In this episode I share the realization that changed everything — and the exciting new idea I’m exploring next.I’m considering launching a creative experiment called The Freedom Song Project — where real stories of freedom, reinvention, and breaking rules could become real songs.Supporters wouldn’t just be backers… they’d be collaborators.Voice lessons, decluttering sessions, Kundalini yoga, breathwork, creative coaching, even writing custom songs together. If you believe creativity needs space…If you love music and bold ideas…And if you’ve ever had the courage to start over in life…This episode is for you.Follow the podcast and join the adventure.http://www.pinkstarmusic.comhttp://www.patreon.com/jacquelinevanbierk

EP 44 Cancel Culture Inside the Goth Scene with Brian Graupner
“Today’s episode is about something that’s becoming more and more common in creative communities — being silenced, shut down, or erased for simply having a conversation and a different opinion. My guest today is Brian Graupner, musician, label founder, and host of the long-running industrial scene livestream Space Couch. For over two decades he created music, interviewed artists, and contributed to the scene without controversy. But in 2023, everything changed.Brian hosted a podcast guest whose views were considered controversial. Before the episode even aired, he was warned not to platform the conversation. His response was simple:‘I think it’s okay to talk to people.’Within days, shows were cancelled, venues distanced themselves, collaborators disappeared, and Brian became one of the most cited examples of cancel culture within the industrial and goth scene.Since then he’s lost gigs, a label he built from the ground up, and even had to leave the city he lived in.Yet he never stopped creating.Today we’re talking about what actually happened, what it’s like to be cancelled, and why the ability to have open conversations without fear matters now more than ever.Get in touch with Brian:https://www.facebook.com/brian.graupnerhttps://x.com/gasolinenvrtbr8Share, Like & Comment!!! EP 42 Losing a Million Dollar Buiz Overnight & Letting the River Rebuilt Her with Jennifer Carey
In this deeply moving episode, I sit down with artist and jewelry designer Jennifer Carey to talk about resilience, motherhood, loss, and what it truly means to begin again.Jennifer shares her powerful journey of adopting her children from Russia, building a million-dollar business on Etsy, and then losing it almost overnight. What do you do when everything you built disappears? When identity, income, and stability feel ripped away? For Jennifer, the answer came from an unexpected place — the Colorado River. After the collapse of her business, she found herself walking along the riverbanks where nature quite literally placed broken, discarded shells at her feet. Instead of seeing debris, she saw beauty. She restored them, transformed them, and began creating meaningful art that now connects people to something deeper — community, story, and soul. This conversation is about:Reinventing yourself after devastating lossAdoption and building family across bordersThe truth about entrepreneurship and impermanenceLetting nature inspire your next chapterCreating art that carries meaning and connectionIf you’ve ever lost something you thought defined you…If you’ve ever had to start over…If you’ve ever wondered whether beauty can come from brokenness…This episode will remind you: sometimes what washes away makes space for something far more aligned. To reach out to Jenniferhttps://acraftycollective.com/Join the 7 Day Declutter Challengehttps://pinkstarmusic.com/the-7-day-rebel-reset

EP 39 Division, Intuition & Reclaiming Critical Thought
We live in a time where disagreement turns into attack, conversation turns into cancellation, and curiosity is replaced by outrage. In this episode, we explore what’s really driving the division — and how to reclaim our ability to think, feel, and connect without being hijacked by fear, algorithms, or ideology. This isn’t about politics. It’s about sovereignty. And remembering how to be human again. In this episode, we talk about:Why we feel more divided than ever — and who benefits from itThe difference between reacting and respondingReclaiming critical thinking in a culture of soundbitesTrusting intuition alongside informationThe importance of a digital diet in an overstimulated worldHow real food, real conversations, and nervous-system regulation shape our futureThis episode is an invitation — not to agree, but to pause, reflect, and come back to yourself.✨ If this conversation resonated, share it with someone who still believes in dialogue over division.

EP 24 SOLO Episode - When NOTHING goes as planned
In this solo episode, I’m sharing from the heart about how my so-called failures have actually been redirections — guiding me toward new possibilities, new passions, and deeper alignment with my purpose. When things don’t go as planned, it’s not the end — it’s the Universe saying, “There’s something even better waiting for you.”We’ll explore:✨ The power of intention and how to realign when you feel lost✨ Why detours are often divine guidance in disguise✨ The courage it takes to say YES when opportunity knocks✨ And the illusion that we’re ever truly alone — when in fact, there are so many people waiting to hear your voice and feel your lightThis is your reminder to reconnect, redirect, and most importantly, enjoy the ride.Look at your accomplishments – Celebrate how far you’ve come; evidence of your resilience is everywhere.See a detour as an opportunity to explore – Every redirection is a chance to learn, expand, and discover hidden gifts. The power of intention – Get clear on what you truly want. In this raw and unfiltered episode, I open up about something deeply personal — a childhood trauma I just released that shook me to my core. I’ll share why I wasn’t able to release this episode on time and how sometimes, the most important thing we can do is pause and give ourselves space to feel, grieve, and heal. This week wasn't about hustle or performance. It was about healing — and letting go of something I’ve carried for far too long.I talk about the intense emotional waves I moved through and how Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and deep breathwork have been my medicine. These practices are not just spiritual buzzwords — they’ve been lifelines. I’ll also touch on the importance of self-compassion when our bodies or souls say “not now.”If you’re navigating your own healing journey or feeling overwhelmed, I see you. I feel you. You're not alone. At the end of the episode, I share how you can work with me directly — whether through private sessions, my workshops, or guided healing practices designed to help you move energy, reclaim your voice, and rise.Take a deep breath.
