Who was Martha? She was a "doer". She walked with Jesus, she saw miracles, and she probably prepared meals for Him! When your life takes a turn (like your brother Lazarus dying), what do you rely on? She thought in earthly terms even with miracles. Then Jesus corrected her perspective saying, "I AM the Resurrection and the Life". Think about what you grew up believing and realize God has more. I talk about the story behind "Time Out" (my new book) in this episode. Lets learn to collaborate with God for the generations because He is the Father to the fatherless. We need to give Spirit directed responses to human requests and desires and also constantly ask God what is next. Pride is hard to pinpoint without friends, as our views can lead to false humility. Conform to the word, and stand convicted by it. Have you ever felt surrounded, running out of time, and struggling to get anything done? We would love to have control of time. In Hezekiah's story, God reveals how He plans/planned for the future and that His power is immeasurable. God will make a way for you and has promised us favor. Have you ever woke up from a dream and wondered at its meaning? Solomon woke to find he had wisdom, wisdom surpassing any human mind. God gave this wisdom to advance mankind and show His infinite knowledge. Let your dreams be rich with knowledge and unlimited potential. Do you know your choices are affecting those around you? In the book of Daniel three boys chose God over all else including their own lives. That choice led to a declaration that Yahweh was the God above all gods. Where can you lay your life down and press on for a culture changing encounter?

When you are presented with unfavorable circumstances what do you do? I challenge you to shift your view and seek what the Lord is doing in your life. God gives these three young men wisdom and revelation and yet God gives us the Holy Spirit, access above and beyond everything they had. Where do you believe and trust in God in your current situations? Ask yourself, what places do you keep from Him? When Jesus told us to pray He asked us to believe it will be done. Yet, it’s easy to doubt or wonder if anything really changed. Our example was Jesus. Let’s look at when Jesus passed by a fig tree and cursed it, only a word yet it whithered! We may look at David's running from Saul as wasted time but God called it skill building. In every step of this journey you see spiritual strengthening and building in his trust in God. When we hit the hard, feel rejected, encounter turmoil, or lose our way know God has a plan. God sees us through every time, embrace the growth and ask God what glory to move into next. Your relationship with God is effective when it is active. Let’s start pursuing it with our brothers and sisters; eat with them, laugh with them, serve them, forgive them and in return you grow. God is speaking over you things you don't see about yourself. What could those be? Ask Him to show you what you need to change in your heart to pursue them. David remembered his time as a shepherd, time spent learning, time spent with God, and applied it to his today. Rise to the challenge with God by your side. Do not let worry overtake you. How many steps did you get in today? 🦶Have you considered where you are going? Jeremiah declared that He has good plans for you. The redundancy of life can get the better of us, so it’s time for action. Put your zeal back on and ask God, "What do you have for me today?" God sets us free on the path He has established for us. Are you filled with the fullness of God? In Ephesians, Paul prays for believers to understand God's love and that they have Christ in them. Turn your attention to His love and know it will overcome all things. Dig in, go after it, and learn the mysteries God wants to share. The overflow will take care of the rest. Did you know God has given you the power to manage your life and to be at peace during stress? It is easy to set your life on cruise control, but don't. Allow His relationship with you to grow and become as legendary as Noah. Let's be conscious of our faith and its effect on the world. Have you ever thought about what makes you anxious? Head to God with those thoughts and ask Him how He is working and let Him reveal something new to you. The reality of the Kingdom is that Jesus sustains us and God has everything taken care of. Have you ever fasted for 40 days? In a weakened state you can only overcome trials with the Fathers help. After Jesus' 40 days in the wilderness He was definitley hungry and that is when the accuser attacked. He didn't compromise but followed the Word of God using it to resist. We often want the "easy" way out but if we take captive our thoughts we will find a new destination. When you walk out day to day life, do people see the Holy Spirit? Don't stop walking it out based on what others think. Let them flock towards you because you have what they need. Remember you are fully supported by God for each and every moment.

Have you ever tried to look at life through the lense of Christ? In Samuel we see Saul's path to kingdom and God’s preparation for all Israel. God crafts a way just for you. Remember that in your day to day God is working. Throw off your insecurities and walk in freedom and boldness on the path you are anointed for!

How quickly we give up on things in our current culture and yet the Word says to add to your faith, steadfastness. Stack your days of faith and become fervent like Job or Abraham so that your faith will grow. I encourage you to declare over yourself what God is doing and what He said He will do. Let's memorize Scripture to back up our beliefs and watch for what God brings.

Have you forgotten that God is with you? In Mary’s journey she had to remember God set her on this path. Elizabeth was there in the middle to confirm His good work in Mary. Don't forget to check in with God. The impossible awaits you on the path our good Father has set before you. Push past the busyness and let the Holy Spirit function in you this year and in your daily life.

Lets jump in to Mary's story. We need to remember this was before there was a Christmas, no anticipation of the season or traditions. She was just living life like a normal person and then suddenly visited by an angel who prophesied over her. But it was only her, seemingly alone. Do you ever feel alone? I encourage you to cry out to God and hand Him your anxieties. Awaken yourself to His presence in your day to day and let Him bring joy, Kingdom joy, into your life.

Have you ever thought about what it was like before there was a Christmas season? For Hanna that came when Jesus showed up in the temple at just 8 days old. She had anticipated a coming Messiah and He was here. God wants to give you good gifts, the ones He created you for. I encourage you to cry out to God. Seek His help, find grace, and believe in the impossible.

God wants you to be effective with your faith in your life. This means you have to establish your faith in Him. Take hold of His Kingdom and ask what He is doing in your life. Then keep walking out your faith as you add to it self control. So before the year is out ,what will you believe God for? I challenge you to ask for something impossible.

Episode 105 summary:This season can bring stress and, through that, lack of trust in God. Jesus experienced weariness and when He did He saught water from the well. God wants to meet our spiritual needs just as Jesus met the Samaritan women at the well. I challenge you to give in to God's peace and let Him change your perspective. PSTake time to look back at what God has done in your life. How has He brought you through the tough times?

Say yes to the Lord with me today as I talk through my mission trip to Honduras. Each of us are unique and has a story to reach specific people. Jesus sent us out with a great commission, telling us to trust in His provision. Drop the excuses, because He is enough, and say Yes to God.

God’s presence brings abundance and hope by covering you in grace. Did you know that you hold the presence that brings grace? You are even called to pull people from the fire with that influence, banishing doubt and providing support against sin. I challenge you to ask a friend to take hold of the fact that Jesus is sufficient with you and live a holy week and seek first the kingdom.

In the book of Daniel, four young boys stood in faith and knowledge from the Lord, because of that they were found essential by the king. Proverbs says, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. As we seek to add to our faith I challenge you to let faith possess your knowledge. Write down each week what you are going after and look for the change God forms in your life.

Do you seek out answers from God when things are not going your way? How about when things are going really well? We should be trying to understand God’s heart in all the things. Break out of the conformity of this world and take time to seek the Lord this week. I encourage you to pursue His presence because whatever it costs you, it is worth it.

Have you been in the midst of a "storm" praying for God's help and you don't see any change? Our emotions can be louder then our faith and bring fear into our minds. Only hours after a miracle, Jesus' disciples feared the storm, they let physical danger outweigh the God of their fathers. He is with you, present and actively willing to help you because He loves you. I challenge you to memorize Scripture, take heart during the storm, and tell your fear what God has done.

How much of God's Word do you know? In Scripture it was spoken truth that made the difference, for Timothy it encouraged, for Jesus it rebuked satan, and for others it sent them into wild lands to bring people life. The time is now and we need to be ready for whatever comes up. I encourage you spend time reading the Bible everyday.Be blessed in everything you put your hands to this week. Enjoy the podcast.

Have you ever been asked what your purpose is? Virtue is literally living out your purpose. From the very beginning God called us to be fruitful and that is impossible without the Holy Spirit. The fruit in our lives may come after many failures but like Christ we can grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man. I challenge you to ask the Holy Spirit for conviction about your virtue and bring glory to God.

What does it mean for you to be a witness? Is that active or passive? God brought up a nation to bear witness and it culminated in Christ as the ultimate witness of God's love. His example in Scripture is perfect and we should bear witness of the cross. Walk in obedience to build that relationship with God and claim joy and peace. Do wonders in His name.

In the middle of the storm the house on the rock or on the sand? Which stands firm in your storm? But, really, what does it cost me to get to that rock? The effort to be doers of the word not just hearers only takes perseverance. When you are in the storm you are going to need Christ to back you up. I encourage you to take hold of Scripture and encourage yourself and those around you. Let’s build the Kingdom together on the Rock!

Are you joyful? I don’t mean happiness. I mean responding with happiness to whatever situation is before you. Jesus is the perfect example of Joy. Being filled with the Spirit enables you to walk in it. Don’t let fear rob you because God is faithfull. I encourage you to be a conduit of joy when you encounter hard in your life. Choose joy.

What are you fruitful in? God's first command to mankind is to be fruitful. Do you to actively pursue it? Peter writes to remind and encourage us to pursue 7 things that add to our faith. He also tells us without them we will be ineffective and unfruitful. We have to choose to change and grow in these areas. I encourage you to seek our Savior's heart, add to your faith, show up and let God.

Join us in prayer today as we pray through the Lord’s prayer and let the Spirit lead us. As we pray for release of the kingdom in hearts, community, and family, believe God is doing great things. We praise the Lord for all His wonderous gifts. Stir up your faith, trust Him to be your defender, and contend with me in fervent prayer this month.

I hope my encouragement has brought good investment into your life. Jesus saught out the lost and we need to do the same. When Peter and John had "nothing" to give they tapped into the kingdom through prayer. Turn to prayer, as they did, and partner with your friend to stay active. Pray for boldness, become a giant of prayer. Let's see God’s hand move in the world like never before.

Do you expect change when you pray? Do you listen to God when you pray? We should expect change and be prepared to change ourselves. Peter listened and obeyed during prayer and in doing so his expectations were met and surpassed by God’s love for people. When we are willing to leave our plans at the feet of Jesus and join others in sharing God’s heart we change the destiny of the world. I challenge you to believe with me and pray for the impossible.

I want your faith system to be activated today and put in the drivers seat of your daily thoughts. In this episode I challenge you to boldy declare five world-changing prayers. I encourage you to seek Gods purpose, ask Him where He is moving, and trust your powerful prayers to return fruitful.

Have you ever been mis-led in something and believed it good? Jesus warns us that this would happen and the enemy is crafty. Be diligent on what influences you, then be bold and make God known to people. I encourage you to dig into Scriptures and obey when the Holy Spirit leads you, no matter how you might feel or think about the situation. His plans are great!

God wants to partner with you every day, especially when lifes hard places come pressing in. Rejoice for the battle is won and your name is written in the book of life! I pray with you and over you in this episode using "The Lord’s Prayer" as a template. Choose Him, choose to spend time with Him, and expect God grace in your life today!

This episode is testimony time- excited to share with you some of what God did on my trip to Tampa. 🥳God’s Kingdom is active and growing. God is wanting to encourage you to move in it. Walking in the expectation, God has gone ahead of you and as you are listening to His heart, obey. Following His prompts is what fills our lives with joy. Just as Jesus reached out to certain people, God asks us to minister and encourage people every day. Are you looking for it? There is a lot of kingdom work to be done, so I challenge you to go, get out of your comfort zone, and find someone to minister to.

God calls us to believe with all our hearts, no matter what! Our human thinking can cause us to doubt the impossible, but impossible is God's line of work. As hard as it is to live by faith you can lean on faith itself and send it out to battle for you. I encourage you to have faith like Abraham and hold to God's promises. Seek intimacy with the Lord first and become a friend of God that sees the impossible happen.

Have you found yourself stuck in life? You realized you've settled for what you got and it's not where you wanted to be? Sometimes our circumstances get tough and we just give up. God calls us to live by faith and I call you into a greater space today. Grab hold of the promises given to you like Abram did. Write down what you are beliving God for this week and walk in Kingdom building mode.

When you pray are there any areas/topics that are difficult for you to bring before the Lord? There are places that each of us shy away from. Moses spoke to God like a friend. Gods heart towards us is good. Let’s pray together and confront those areas we need to let go of. Pull on Gods love and strength, go outside your comfort zone and armor your mind and future with prayer.

Have you ever been so physically thirsty you would do whatever it takes to get a drink? This is how we should feel about connecting to God and listening to His Spirit. I know the Holy Spirit has deep knowledge for us so I challenge you to commit and carve out space for this every day. Come alongside our community as we practice 30 minutes of thirsting for God every day.

Do you ever find yourself wanting to quit, wanting to give up from exhaustion? When we don't rest we are not prepared to accomplish the tasks before us. Cry out to God because He knows and has prepared what you need. Even all the toiling of the world will not get you what you want. Surrender to the Lord of Lords, be patient and wait for Him. Ever think, “How am I gonna make it?” Heading back into the story of Ruth when she gets to Naomi's home land. With little means of living they have to trust in the love and generosity of God. How well do we exhibit generosity like our God? He is our redeemer and makes ready ahead of your need. Each of us is uniquely prepared to be His hands and feet. When we are patient and vulnerable with the Lord, oportunities increase and the treasures of the kingdom flow out. I challenge you to trust God when you want to be calloused and challenge your doubt because I know He will see you through.

How often do you feel like your only option is sorrow? When we focus on the things bothering us instead of the good in each situation. Doing that only causes us to become bitter, like Naomi felt. Have you been clinging to the good in your life? God is so good and not bound by earthly rules. He will turn what is difficult and frustrating into good. I encourage you to cling to His promise, set time aside for Scripture and focus on the good God has in store.
