It's a new season for Hertha BSC - but forgive us if we aren't overflowing with optimism. Lots of first team players have left, very few new players have signed. Yet off the pitch this outcome has paid the bills and the accountants look happier than they have been in a while. It looks like a season of stabilising and consolidation ahead. One where we finish mid table, nothing more, nothing less. But who knows...?

February didn't go quite as well as planned... an impressive cup performance left us with a hangover in Hannover, that seemed to last a while but March has brought renewed optimism that we might just scrape third if results go our way... Keep believing Hertha fans...
