A "marriage spirit messenger," often referred to as a spirit spouse or spiritual husband/wife, operates in the earthly realm through spiritual manipulation. These entities act as unseen spouses that believers claim affect physical relationships by repelling suitors, causing marital discord, or influencing earthly spouses with negative traits. When you speak the right words, the Spirit acts upon them; words recognize no seasons or barriers. Words are things; they’re tangible and potent with creative energy. So, don’t say, “Well, I wasn’t serious when I said it”; in the realm of the spirit, everything you say is living and active. It’ll work for you or against you. That’s the reason we should speak the Word only; speaking truth. The Bible says, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:37). Don’t use words carelessly. Know, think, talk and sing the Word—whether in merrymaking or in praise to God! Let your life be consistent with God’s truths, and you’d be amazed at the resultant blessings in your life.

The Two Kingdoms The spiritual realm is not merely a philosophical concept, but an active reality with its own distinct monarchs, citizens, and spiritual laws. The Kingdom of Light: Ruled by God, this eternal realm is characterized by truth, peace, and divine purpose. Citizens of this kingdom are guided by the Holy Spirit. The Kingdom of Darkness: Ruled by Satan, this realm operates through deception, fear, and spiritual ignorance. It seeks to influence the thoughts, cultures, and actions of the world.

The Bible informs us about the protection of God. As humans, we want to see God's protection as a magic force field that keeps us from all harm. Yes, God can prevent any evil or destruction but we must remember that we live in a fallen world where we have free will. Many times, God works in ways that we do not understand. Sometimes God's protection comes in the form of peace and strength in the middle of despair. Other times God's protection comes as an ending because he sees something more on the horizon that we cannot see. As a believer in Jesus, we are promised a new life covered under the protection of God in which NOTHING can separate us from His love. Rest knowing that no matter what hardship you face, God is your provider and protector! These Bible verses about protection will help you focus on knowing there is a bigger plan and God has chosen you for greater things!

Psalm 90:17 (ESV) Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!

Psalm 37:7-9 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.

Patience is a virtue that is often discussed in the Bible. In fact, patience is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22-23. The Bible teaches that patience is an important aspect of our relationship with God and our relationships with others. One of the most well-known verses about patience is found in James 1:3-4, which says, "For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing."

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. Heavenly Father, I thank you for the wisdom that you so generously give to your children. Right now, I ask for a measure of your wisdom to direct my steps throughout my workday. May I call upon your infinite wisdom in every decision I make today.

Heavenly Father, I acknowledge you as the giver of life. May all that I do in this life bring you glory above all else, including my work. Please help me not lose sight of this purpose as I walk through my workday today.  Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Father, I come to You today, bowing in my heart, asking for protection from the evil one. Lord, we are assailed moment by moment with images on television, the internet, books and newspapers that leave us vulnerable to sin of every kind. Surround us with Your divine hedge of protection. Encompass us round about with Your strength and Your might. Let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy. And may You shelter us, that those who love Your name may exult in You. For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him favor as with a shield. (Psalm 5:11-12) Amen.

I come before You, acknowledging that nothing is impossible for You, the God who makes a way where there seems to be none. I bring my burdens and desires to You, asking for Your divine intervention and a miracle in my situation. Please grant me the strength, patience, and courage to trust in Your perfect timing. To fight the "good fight of faith" means standing firm on God's Word despite contrary circumstances, doubts, or feelings. You win this spiritual battle by holding onto God's promises, fixing your mind on Christ, and resisting doubt through regular prayer and scripture memorization.

Hard times come in many forms. Maybe you're walking through the aftermath of loss… Facing uncertainty about the future… Or simply feeling worn down by the weight of daily life. In recent years, we've all been stretched in ways we didn’t expect. From global crises to personal struggles, it seems like challenges keep piling up. Anxiety is rising. Loneliness is lingering. And for many, faith has been tested more than ever before. If that’s where you find yourself right now—you’re not alone. The good news? God hasn’t changed. Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 34:17 “When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.” Isaiah 40:31 “But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 41:10 “Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”

How many times have you reached the end of the workday and realised you didn’t include God? For me, it’s too many times to count. Especially in my previous consulting role, I found I was constantly on the go – if I wasn’t running to make my train in the morning, I was rushing to the next meeting or putting my head down to get a report to a client on time. Each day was a race against the clock. I was so focused on getting things done that I would often forget to invite God into my workday. And I would feel it by the end of the day. Sometimes, it looked like impatience or a lack of tolerance for others. Other times, it looked like emotional exhaustion from the politics. Every now and then, it was pure frustration over every little thing. Now, I’d probably still experience some of this even with a conscious effort to give my work to God. But with prayer, it would all be overcome by God’s perfect peace and the reassurance that no matter what my workday looks like, God’s got it. Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Psalm 127:1 Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The Spirit Guides into Truth John 16:13 (NIV): "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come." John 14:26 (ESV): "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Strength and Renewal: Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, mounting up with wings like eagles (Isaiah 40:31). Provision: God supplies all needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Guidance and Protection: God acts as a shepherd, providing peace and covering the righteous with favor like a shield (Psalm 23:1-2, Psalm 5:12). Rest: Access to rest and refuge in God (Psalm 34:8, Hebrews 13:20.

Believers in Jesus Christ receive abundant spiritual blessings, including forgiveness of sins, eternal life, peace, and adoption into God's family, as outlined in Ephesians 1:3-4, which states God has blessed us with "every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ." These blessings include redemption (Galatians 3:13-14), strength in difficult times (Isaiah 40:31), and the supply of all needs (Philippians 4:19).

Psalm 91 and [2 Thessalonians 3:3]. "Lord, I take refuge under Your wings, setting my heart upon You. I ask that You encircle me with a hedge of protection, defending me from all hurt, harm, and danger. I stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Guard my mind from fear and my life from the snares of the enemy. I trust You to preserve my life and keep me safe. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
