Howdy y'all! I'm finally back after a two month break. I have missed y'all so much. Today I will be catching you up on the last few months and talking about the plan moving forward!

Twenty-Seven European countries are part of the European Union which wants to bring peace and give good lives to those in the union. The EU has put into place the Green Deal which is a plan to reduce emissions and carbon footprints. In the last few weeks, many protests have occurred across these many countries. Farmers are unhappy with things from unfair competition from outside countries, taxes, and more. In today’s episode, we will talk about these protests.

For many years, farmers and ranchers have been able to fix their own equipment such as tractors. In recent years, major manufacturers of these equipment have taken their right away. From putting technology in that prevents them to not sharing how to repair, their greed has taken over. Right now, there is a fight to pass right to repair laws which give farmers and ranchers the right to repair their things again. Today we will talk about what these laws are, why it is important, as well as getting more into antitrust laws. Today we will be talking about my experience in two agriculture organizations: FFA and Collegiate Cattlewomen. My time in both clubs ended due to people rather than the club itself. My experience in both clubs has impacted how I treat others in terms of supporting their agriculture journey. When you go to the grocery store, what do you see? Maybe labels that say things like NON-GMO, ORGANIC, NO ANTIBIOTICS, NO HORMONES, etc? Have you ever thought about what these labels mean? If you haven’t, you aren’t alone. Many have fallen victim to the marketing tactic that is food labels. There is no regulations on what is allowed to be added as a label on food when it comes to terms like these.
