Rather than debating personalities or assumptions, the union shifted the focus to what mattered most Article 16, just cause, progressive discipline, and management's burden of proof.The second case examines Hector Narvaez's Emergency Placement, where management claimed an emergency existed. Instead of arguing whether emotions ran high, the union challenged whether management actually met the strict requirements of Article 16.7.
