The Four Stages of Financial Freedom
Most money conversations are missing the point.Traditional financial planning teaches you how to retire…at 65, after decades of grinding (No thank you!).The Financial Independence movement teaches you how to retire earlier, often at the expense of your most expansive, juicy life in the NOW (No thank you!).Entrepreneurship teaches you how to make more money but offers zero conversation on net worth growth and building work optional wealth (Unsubscribe, please!).All three have transformed my life. I’ve learned from each of them, and I’m deeply grateful they exist. But after twenty years of building companies, studying wealth, and eventually becoming work optional, I realized I’d stopped fitting neatly into any of those conversations.I found myself asking a different question. How can we use our money to consciously create a life of absolute freedom and overflow in all other areas of living? Because looking back over twenty years, I don’t remember one magical moment when I became “financially free.”I remember a series of increasing freedoms. The freedom to stop checking my bank account before buying the organic groceries. The freedom to say no when a misaligned client wanted to hire me.The freedom to spend an entire summer with my children without worrying about the bills. The freedom to close an offer generating $500,000 per year because my curiosity had moved somewhere new.None of those moments looked like retirement. They looked like becoming more alive.Along the way, I started noticing something else.I’ve met entrepreneurs with seven- and eight-figure businesses who still can’t take a Wednesday afternoon off without checking Slack.I’ve met people with beautiful investment portfolios who feel guilty every time they spend money on something they genuinely love.I’ve met founders who know exactly how to grow top-line revenue but couldn’t tell you what percentage of their net worth is invested in productive assets.I’ve met professionals who can model exactly how much they’ll need to retire at sixty-five—but have never planned how to live exquisitely from now until then.None of these people are doing anything wrong. They’re simply playing different games.Traditional financial planning is remarkably good at optimizing a financial plan.Entrepreneurship is remarkably good at increasing income. The Financial Independence movement is remarkably good at challenging the assumption that working until 65 should even be the goal. But somewhere along the way, we narrowed the conversation.Financial planning became a question of retirement.Entrepreneurship became a question of top line revenue.I think the more interesting question is this:What does a life of extraordinary wealth actually look and feel like?At House of Aretē, we believe financial wealth is the foundation that unlocks extraordinary levels of freedom that culminate to create an Apex Life:Time freedom.Creative freedom.Relational freedom.Emotional freedom.Financial wealth isn’t the destination. It’s the engine. That’s why House of Aretē begins with one foundational transition:From earner to owner. From selling your time...to owning passive wealth growing assets. From relying on your active labor...to building capital that works on your behalf.Because ownership doesn’t simply create more money (but it does, and is SOOO fun!).It creates more freedom. The freedom to own your calendar. The freedom to create because you’re inspired—not because this month’s revenue depends on it.The freedom to cultivate extraordinary relationships. The freedom to have a calm, resilient mind and a vibrant body. The freedom to consciously design a life that feels deeply, unapologetically alive. We call these the Five Pillars of Apex Living within the House of Arete:* Overflowing Finances* Luxurious Time* Creational Sovereignty* Relational Richness* Radiant Mind & BodyIn this episode, I introduce The Four Stages of Financial Freedom—a framework I’ve developed after two decades of building wealth and discovering that financial freedom isn’t a single finish line. It’s a series of expanding freedoms.Together we’ll explore:* Why financial freedom isn’t binary, but rather a series of milestones and stages before reaching full work optional wealth* The four stages every wealth builder moves through.* Why the most important transition isn’t employee to entrepreneur—it’s earner to owner.* How each stage of financial freedom unlocks a richer kind of freedom across all five pillars of Apex Living.* The psychological shifts that matter just as much as the financial ones.* How to identify your current stage—and what comes next.Because the goal isn’t simply financial freedom. It’s the apex life that financial freedom makes possible, living in pure overflow, at the top of your potential, and the edges of what’s possible.🥂 Craving luxurious support on your journey towards building work optional wealth? Why Wealthy People Leave Food on Their Plate: The Trap of “Getting Your Money’s Worth”
Ever forced yourself to finish a mediocre meal because you “paid for it”?Or made yourself finish an audiobook you stopped enjoying four hours ago because you already spent the credit on it?Bought a course and felt quietly stressed every time another module dropped because now you had to finish all 37 hours of content in order to “get your money’s worth”?Forced your overtired children to stay at the amusement park because you paid for a full day at the park and, by God, you were going to get a full day at the park.Or maybe you’ve felt that tiny voice whisper:“We paid for the expensive ticket package, shouldn’t the kids do more of the activities?”I had exactly that thought yesterday at a local amusement park.We bought the premium tickets because they included access to giant zip lines all over the property. And then my children spent most of the day doing something else entirely.Climbing treehouses.Exploring forts.Running through the woods.Being delighted. And I caught myself wondering:Should I encourage them to do more zip lines? After all, we paid for them. And then I laughed.Because I have seen this pattern of learned scarcity before. With food. With masterminds. With coaching programs.Even with luxury experiences and vacations. It is an insidious yet deeply inherited belief that if you paid for something, your job is to extract the maximum possible value from it.Even when the extraction itself destroys the thing you were actually trying to buy:Rest.Beauty.Pleasure.Presence.Aliveness.This is the mental and energetic work that stays in our minds and bodies long after money has stopped being scarce. In this episode we explore:• Why wealthy people leave food on their plate (and it’s not because they’re wasteful or ungrateful)• The difference between scarcity, strategic optimization, and luxurious abundance• The tiny ways “getting your money’s worth” is quietly stealing pleasure, spaciousness, and joy from your life.• The surprising difference between maximizing utility and maximizing outcomes.• Why I once bought a $3,000 program almost entirely for a single funnel template. This is the hidden work of becoming the first wealthy woman in your lineage.Because your grandparents may have optimized survival.Your parents may have optimized for security. And you may be called to optimize something entirely different-- freedom, beauty, wonder, pleasure, presence, and a life of full ALIVENESS.🥂 Looking to optimize wealth and experience extraordinary ease and pleasure in your life? The 5 Pillars that Separate Average Marriages from Extraordinary Ones
Nobody wakes up one morning and announces:“Good news. We’ve become roommates!”It happens much more quietly than that. You spend years building a beautiful life together. The careers. The children. The house. The vacations. The investment accounts. The school calendars. The summer camps that somehow need to be booked in January. The poster board emergency that appears with less than twenty-four hours notice (because apparently every elementary school in America operates this way??).And somewhere along the way, you realize you’ve become incredibly good at running a life together. But … you miss the spark of romance, the feeling of butterflies when he texts, the sense that you can relax because he’s got it.You still love him. You’d choose him again. That’s not the problem. The problem is that somewhere between Costco and orthodontics, most marriages slowly became an operating company.Efficient.Functional.Well managed.Conversations stop being about dreams and start becoming about… logistics.Schedules.Groceries.Whose turn it is to call the pediatrician.Whether anyone switched the laundry. And somehow the man who once made your stomach flip now mostly reminds you that the car needs an oil change. You love him.And occasionally you’d also like him to stop asking where his socks are.If you’re honest, you’ve found yourself wondering:* Is this just what marriage becomes?* Is attraction supposed to fade like this?* Does everyone quietly become roommates?* Is this simply the price of ambition, children, and building a big life?6 years ago I found myself asking these same questions, after three kids and two extraordinarily successful careers, and I found that there are couples who seem to violate the laws of the fate of long-term relationships that society has fed us.Couples who are more connected twenty years in than they were at five.Couples who still flirt.Still laugh.Still surprise one another.Still have sex they genuinely want to have.Couples who build extraordinary wealth together, raise happy children, have hot sex, and are genuinely each other’s favorite people in the world.Who still feel like lovers and teammates instead of co-managers of an increasingly complicated small corporation. They’re rare. But they exist. And after spending the last six years deeply studying love, attachment, communication, eroticism, polarity, sex and relationships with the same seriousness I once brought to wealth building, I became obsessed with one question:What are they doing differently?Because exceptional marriages aren’t lucky. They’re consciously designed and created. In this episode we’re exploring the five pillars that seem to separate marriages that slowly flatten from marriages that continue expanding:* Financial intimacy and wealth building* Emotional intelligence and relational depth* Erotic aliveness and sexual range* Attraction and long-term magnetism* The infrastructure of easeWe’ll explore:* Why money fights are rarely about money.* Why the happiest couples don’t avoid conflict — they recover from it faster.* Why friendship and sexual satisfaction appear over and over again in the research on thriving couples.* Why so many ambitious women quietly become the default holder of everything.* Why chaos may be one of the least discussed anti-aphrodisiacs in modern marriage.* Why attraction responds to relationship dynamics more than weekly date nightsThe truth is that marriage rarely dies dramatically.More often, it disappears through accumulation.A thousand tiny moments of exhaustion.Administrative overhead.Mental load.Unspoken resentment.Deferred intimacy. The gradual replacement of wonder with management, with tolerating, with quiet resentment. But the opposite is true, too.Connection compounds.Trust compounds.Eroticism compounds.Wealth compounds.Ease compounds. And when all five begin working together, marriage stops feeling like another thing you’re responsible for maintaining...and starts becoming the place from which the rest of your life expands. The Greeks had a word for the highest expression of a thing:Arete.Potential fully realized. This episode is about the pursuit of Arete in love and marriage. Not simply “staying married” and calling that success. Not avoiding divorce or fighting less. But building a marriage that becomes hotter, wealthier, safer, softer, and more alive with every passing decade. It’s not only possible, but it’s inevitable when you live life in line with your arete.🥂 Know you’re meant for an Apex Marriage? The Art of Spending and Investing for a Life of Conscious Luxury
Most mainstream financial advice assumes you must choose—Build wealth…or enjoy your life.Invest aggressively…or buy the handbag.Save for the future…or take the trip. But a life of conscious luxury doesn’t require choosing one or the other.Conscious Wealth is learning how to intelligently create both. The growing investment portfolio and the beautiful life. The increasing net worth and the Michelin-star dinners. The future freedom and the present enjoyment.Because eventually every high-income woman arrives at a fascinating question:How much should I invest? How much should I spend? And how do I know the difference? In this episode, we’re exploring one of the most nuanced stages of the wealth journey:The transition from earning a high income to building multidimensional wealth. Not just financially, although yes— that too.But aesthetically.Experientially.Emotionally.A life that is both wildly prosperous and deeply enjoyed. We’ll explore:• How to identify your personal Luxury Blueprint and how to use this blueprint to determine how deeply aligned your current spending and investing is with it• Which luxury categories tend to appreciate, which tend to depreciate, and how to think about handbags, jewelry, watches, art, and collectibles• The art of Conscious Spending: every purchase has an ROI, and determining ahead of time if you’re creating financial returns, quality-of-life returns, beauty, freedom, memories, connection, or something else entirely as the• How affluent women think about the relationship between spending, investing, and wealth creation• The difference between luxury and consumption• How to build a beautiful life without compromising your long-term financial futureConscious Luxury is a core piece of the journey as you grow from high income to work optional wealth. The art of becoming a woman who can simultaneously build her net worth, expand her freedom, and create a life she genuinely loves inhabiting. The stock portfolio…and the Paris trip. The investment property…and the Cartier earrings. The freedom tomorrow..and the deep, delicious enjoyment of today.🎙️ The High-Income Woman’s Guide to Conscious Luxury: The Art of Luxury, Spending, Investing & Building a Beautiful Life is now live.If this resonated...I help women build work optional wealth, focusing on the 1-3 million net worth level, without sacrificing beauty, spaciousness, love, or the richness of everyday life.Is that you? The High-Income Woman's Guide to Being Luxuriously Supported at Home
A few months ago, I returned from a trip and dumped a tangled pile of necklaces onto my dresser. You know the pile. The one that somehow transforms itself into a knot so complex it looks like a maritime engineering problem.Normally this would sit on my dresser for approximately six months while I periodically stared at it and thought:“I should really deal with that.”Instead, my personal assistant untangled them.Every single one.And honestly? That tiny moment captures something I’ve become increasingly fascinated by:The world of extraordinary household support that exists beyond what most women even know is available.Because when most people imagine wealth, they picture yachts and private jets. What they don’t picture is the luxury of never spending another Saturday folding laundry.Or returning from Christmas vacation to discover the tree has already been taken down, the decorations carefully packed away, and the house reset for the New Year.Or having healthy meals prepared for your family.Or having someone mail the birthday cards.Water the plants.Handle the returns.Schedule the appointments.Or travel with an au pair so family vacations actually feel like vacations. In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on the hidden world of household support and sharing exactly how we’ve designed a home life that feels deeply cared for, beautifully held, and remarkably free. We’ll explore:• The Support Ladder—from cleaners to meal prep, au pairs, assistants, house managers, and beyond• Which levels of support tend to make sense at different income and net worth stages• Why some forms of support create dramatically more quality of life than others• The surprising economics of au pairs (and why they can sometimes cost less than traditional childcare)• The household systems that have created the biggest improvements in our family’s day-to-day life• The subconscious blocks that keep many first-generation wealthy women stuck doing everything themselves• Why receiving support can feel far more uncomfortable than earning money• The hidden identity shifts required to move from self-reliance into true overflowBecause in my experience, the greatest luxury isn’t owning more things. It’s being deeply supported. It’s creating a life where your energy is protected.Your nervous system can soften.Your marriage has room to breathe.Your children get the best of you.And your home becomes a place that replenishes you rather than another job you manage. That’s the funny thing about expanding your Wealth. You think it’s going to be about the big things. And then one day you’re irrationally excited because someone else unloaded the dishwasher.🎙️ Ready to discover an entire world of support most women never realize exists? Apex Living Q&A
At first glance, this episode seems to be about a lot of different things.Marriage.Sex.Style.Beauty.Health.Motherhood.Extraordinary Living. But as I sat down to answer your questions, I realized they’re all pointing toward the same thing.Peak Aliveness.More specifically:The feminine art of opening up and receiving, and evoking and enchanting the most extraordinary miracles from the Universe, our partners, and all of life. This is the polar opposite of what many “high-achieving women” know intimately:Control.Productivity.Hyper-responsibility.Constant management. And while that energy helped me create some degree of external success (my calendar was exquisitely color coded!), it massively limited my ability to experience intimacy, attraction, beauty, pleasure, health, and true overflow. In this deeply personal Q&A, we explore:• The uncomfortable realization that I spent years quietly resenting my husband for his lack of leadership… when I was actually the one perpetuating the dynamic I said I hated (and how we completely reinvented our marriage!)• Why I believe many modern marriages aren’t sex-starved—they’re intimacy-starved• The subtle ways most couples spend their entire lives together without ever truly letting themselves be truly seen, loved, known, and supported (PS: I’ve been there— I was married for nearly 15 years before I experienced what I now know to be genuine intimacy)• The shift that took my marriage from me planning the date nights while resenting him and him constantly forgetting our anniversary… to having a marriage where I’m showered with the most thoughtful gifts and the deepest connection we’ve ever had• The habits and adaptations that help women thrive at work, but that destroy intimacy and connection within intimate relationship• Why redoing my closet, renovating my bedroom, and investing in beauty changed me more than yearssssss of personal development work• How and why I can look at your closet and immediately know the habits and patterns that are blocking your career, money, and relationship growthThe hidden conditioning lurking in your wardrobe—and what your favorite outfits may be revealing about your fears• Why thinking the goal of life is happiness is harming you, and how creating a beautiful life is 100x more potent• The surprising reason your marriage, libido, health, creativity, parenting, and bank account may all be reflecting the exact same energetic pattern• The super woo rabbitholes I’ve been getting into during sabbatical, from the mysteries of deeply hidden mystical practices to the awakening of my hand chakras and the way I’m developing new spiritual giftsAt the heart of this conversation is a question:What becomes possible when a woman stops creating her life from control, productivity, and a compulsion to do more...and starts creating it from the natural unfolding or her most extraordinary aliveness?More intimacy.More beauty.More attraction.More freedom.More presence.More wealth.More moments that make you stop and think:“I can’t believe this is my life.”Welcome to the Art of Apex Living.Head here to apply for private mentorship: https://houseofarete.com/services This is a public episode. 🎙️ Wealth Q&A: Expanding From High Income to Work-Optional Wealth
Introducing our first ever Q&A episode and I just want to say-- the vibration of Apex Women here in the House of Arete is so sparkling, so alive, so vibrant, and it showed in your questions. Most of the internet feels like a busy night bazaar.Everyone shouting.Everyone selling.Everyone trying to figure out how to get the next client, the next launch, the next hit of revenue. And while there is absolutely a season for learning how to make money, that isn’t where most of the women in this community are anymore. The questions here feel different.Less:“How do I make money?”More:“How do I take the money I actively made and have it passively double and triple without me?”Less:“How do I hit my first six figures?”More:“How do I create the next million with more joy and less stress?”Less:“How do I get rich?”More:“How do I steward my money so that it is able to take care of me and my family, increasing our freedom and time together?”This week’s Wealth Q&A felt less like a crowded marketplace and more like a conversation inside a Chanel boutique.Thoughtful.Refined.Intentional and deliciously high level. The questions included:• What have been the biggest differences between building your first million and building your next several million?• Looking back, which wealth decisions changed your life—and which ones mattered far less than you expected?• What are your current edges with money? What still scares you, stretches you, or feels like your next level?• If you lost everything tomorrow except your relationships, skills, and experience, how would you rebuild?• What does “enough” mean to you now, and how has that definition evolved over time?• What are you actively teaching your children about money, investing, and stewardship?• What money belief did you hold for years that you now believe is completely wrong?(My last answer runs directly counter to much of the advice you’ll hear from financial experts online, yet embracing it has dramatically increased both my wealth and my quality of life.)This episode isn’t about making money. It’s about something far more interesting— building wealth and what happens after. The questions that emerge when you’re releasing the last bits of struggle from your financial story and beginning to calibrate to the most extraordinary, sparkling, delicious level of thriving, and allowing yourself to deeply enjoy your Financial Overflow. For support on your path to extraordinary thriving, head here to apply for private mentorship, including VIP Days, deep dive sessions, and long term mentorship. Reaching the Apex of Your Sexual Potential
Most women never consider the possibility that their sexuality has potential. Not because they don't care about sex.But because what we're taught about sexuality exists in such a painfully narrow band.We understand career and financial potential and set clear goals. We understand our health and fitness and make plans to better ourselves. But Sexual Potential??? WTF even is that??We don't know because most of us grew up with parents who were too uncomfortable with sex to discuss it openly. So our education came from school.Cold diagrams of reproductive organs.A health teacher rolling in a television cart.A man in a white lab coat explaining ovulation.A lesson on how not to get pregnant.A lesson on sexually transmitted infections.A lesson on risk.A lesson on responsibility.Very little on pleasure.Very little on desire.Nothing on ecstasy.Nothing on devotion.Nothing on polarity.Nothing on erotic intelligence.Nothing on the possibility that sexuality might become one of the richest, most transformative, most fascinating dimensions of a human life. Then came the magazines.Try this position.Buy this toy.Learn these five tricks to drive him wild.As though sexuality were little more than a collection of bedroom hacks. As though the entire ocean could be reduced to a few drops of water. So most women inherit an extraordinarily limited map.And then spend decades assuming the map is the territory (which, let's be honest, is pretty f*cking boring). If you've been married for fifteen years and sex feels predictable, perhaps you've concluded that's simply what marriage becomes. If your desire faded after children, perhaps you've concluded that's what motherhood costs. If you've never experienced overwhelming pleasure, perhaps you've concluded those experiences belong to other women.Women who are somehow naturally wired that way.Or more confident.More naturally connected to their bodies.Meanwhile, nobody stops to ask a different question:What if you've simply never been shown the breadth of what is possible within sex?A few years ago I heard someone mention energy orgasms while watching a show on Netflix.I remember staring at the screen thinking:What do you mean?My jaw dropped to the floor while I watched a woman, who wasn't even being physically touched, writhe and gyrate in intense physical pleasure as she came to orgasm. This was the moment I became fascinated by the existence of territory I didn't know existed. And it had me begin asking:How many other experiences had I unknowingly excluded from my reality simply because nobody had told me they were available? That question sent me down a rabbit hole.Into tantra.Into energetic sexuality.Into kink.Into communication.Into desire.Into understanding that sexuality is not the very boring missionary style on a Tuesday, over and over again ad nauseum experience that I had thought it was. It's a wild and vast landscape. And most of us have only explored a tiny corner of it.In this episode, we explore the path to sexual potential-- from the cultural mind viruses that keep women from experiencing peak pleasure, to the vast array of possibilities within the landscape of sex and pleasure.Because the greatest tragedy isn't that women have been taught too little about sex. It's that they've been taught so little that they never realize there might be more. And perhaps the apex of your sexual potential begins with a simple question:What if the map you've been given is far smaller than the territory available to you?Come play with me in this audio drop to explore more, and when you're ready to dive deeper you can apply to work with me at www.houseofarete.com/services This is a public episode. The 6 Phases of Wealth Expansion
There is a moment that predictably, reliably happens before every big financial leap in your life. You are standing in front of a financial decision that once felt impossibly far away, the dream that was once just a seed in your heart finally about to be made manifest in the world...and instead of feeling confident, you feel terrified. The woman doubling her rates when she's fully booked feels it.The woman buying her first investment property feels it.The woman interviewing tax strategists, restructuring assets, and making multi-million-dollar decisions feels it.The numbers change. But the 6 Phases of Wealth Expansion remain the same across every cycle leading up to your next Financial Leap.Because every new level of wealth introduces a new level of complexity, responsibility, and uncertainty. In this episode, I'm breaking down The 6 Phases of Wealth Expansion—a framework for understanding the wildly predictable cycle that accompanies every major financial leap.Whether you're investing your first $10,000 or navigating the sale of your company for a cool 9 figures, you'll learn: --the intelligence of your fear and how to work with it as a partner that helps you --how sophisticated women acclimate to increasing levels of wealth --why we actively want to allow uncertainty and its role in expanding our wealth--and how to become the woman who can confidently and easefully expand into your next big wealth milestoneThe fear doesn't disappear as your wealth grows. The object of the fear simply changes. And learning to navigate the Wealth Expansion Cycle will be one of the most important wealth-building skills you'll ever develop. For women looking for support in expanding into the $1-3 million net worth level you can head here to apply for private mentorship with me: https://houseofarete.com/servicesTo dive deeper into my essays and audio drops on Apex Woman living head here to subscribe to my Substack: https://houseofarete.substack.com/ This is a public episode. How to Raise Rich Kids
You know what nobody tells you about being first generation wealthy? At some point, after the investments and the success and the “we can finally breathe” part…you realize the next challenge isn’t making more money. It’s figuring out how not to accidentally not ruin your children because of it.Which sounds dramatic, but the research consistently shows that affluent kids struggle MORE with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and substance abuse than the average. (Not exactly the brochure we got...)In this episode, I'm surfacing the hidden emotional and cultural patterns that often emerge inside affluence:pressure to achieve, emotional disconnection, entitlement, drift, and the quiet loss of meaning that can happen when survival is no longer necessary.Drawing from research on affluent adolescents, intergenerational wealth studies, and the recurring rise-and-fall cycles seen in both families and civilizations, this conversation asks a deeper question:How do we preserve the virtues that created the wealth… while releasing the suffering? We explore:--why 70% of wealthy families lose wealth by the second generation--what research reveals about thriving affluent families--the two root causes of why affluent children often struggle (and what to do about it)--how to raise children who aren't entitled but rather grounded, capable, connected, and emotionally secure inside financial affluence--and why family story, meaning, and contribution matter more than most people realizeThis episode is about the deeper art of creating generational wealth:not merely creating successful children…but raising human beings capable of holding wealth, love, responsibility, beauty, freedom, and power well.Because money is just a very small part of what your children will inherit. Cycle Breakers: The Power of Changing Your Family's Future
I recently stood in a graveyard in Croatia surrounded by generations of people who carried my mother's maiden name.Hundreds of years in the same small port town.Ships coming in and out, and my family the men that worked them. The same life. And 100 years ago, at 15 years old, my great-grandfather left.He crossed an ocean as a boy and became a man in America, creating an entirely different future for the generations that came after him.I’ve been thinking about that ever since.About the people in our families who make decisions that change EVERYTHING for the generations that follow. The quiet, extraordinary power of the person who decides:My children will not endure or experience what I have.In this conversation, we explore what it actually means to become a cycle breaker:not just financially… but emotionally, relationally, spiritually, and energetically. As the first generation creating wealth it comes with a unique history that lives in our bodies: --stress about money --parents constantly working --emotional volatility in the home --scarcity, addiction, chaos, or survival modeYou know what it feels like to inherit a nervous system shaped around enduring life instead of fully living it.This episode is about becoming the person who changes the trajectory of what gets passed down. The woman who: --builds extraordinary wealth without burnout --creates deep love and intimacy without contracting, rupturing, or wanting chaos in relationships--experiences success without losing connection to her heart and spiritual depth --turns survival into thrivingYou are not here to merely continue your family’s patterns. If you choose to, you become the one who changes what becomes possible for everyone who comes after you. The Upper Limit on Receiving (You Didn't Know You Had)
I realized I had a receiving ceiling on Mother’s Day.Somewhere between the Chanel earrings and the Louis Vuitton bag—my fourth gift of the day—I felt my body tighten… and briefly wondered if I should ask my husband to return it.Which didn’t make sense.I understand our finances. We invest millions. I know exactly what we can “afford.”And still—being given to like that…being loved with that level of care, attention, and ease—felt like too much. But this feeling isn’t new— I’ve seen it wear a hundred different costumes in a million different ways for me and my clients. It often looks like:* when a client pays in full and it feels almost uncomfortable* when money comes in easily and you start questioning it or feel like “it doesn’t count” somehow* when you hesitate to hire help, even though you can afford it* when you deflect attention, love, or support* when things start working, flowing, expanding… and your body responds by contracting because it’s “too much”Different situations.Same pattern. An upper limit on your capacity to receive. And if you don’t see this, it will quietly cap everything—your income, your ease, your relationships, your love, your wealth, your ability to feel fully supported.Because the problem isn’t that there isn’t enough available to us.The problem is all the ways we’ve learned—subtly, over time—to contract, resist, and stop the constant stream of goodness that is wanting to flow in.We feel this acutely as first-generation wealthy women. We were taught how to work for everything and we grew up in households where scarcity was our lived experience. So we learned how to earn.We learned how to prove. We learned how to carry it all, be the strong one, and break barriers with our will and grit. But we were never taught how to:* let money be easy* let support hold us* let love land without deflecting it* let life expand to the true Heaven on Earth frequency that is our birthrightIn this episode, I take you inside the upper limit on receiving—the invisible threshold that determines how much wealth, ease, love, and goodness you’ll actually allow into your life.We break down:* why receiving can feel harder than earning* the subconscious beliefs that create the “this is too much” response* how this shows up at every level—from your first $10K month to multi-millionsAnd most importantly—I walk you through a tangible mind–body–spirit process to expand your capacity in real time, so you can stop tightening around the very things you say you want.Because the truth is:More is trying to reach you.And somewhere along the way, you learned to block and upper limit the field of abundance. And the next level of your life?It will not require more effort— you mastered that level, got the blue ribbon, and graduated from that version of life.Your next level will simply require you to let more in, and we’re diving deep into the art of that today.Craving support on your journey? Turned On Women Build Better Lives
Most women are trying to build a life they love…from spreadsheets, self-help mantras, and a conditioned to be overachieving way of relating to their goals and life. And then they wonder why it all feels a little… beige.A little “this looks right on paper but why do I want to burn it down and move to Bali??"This episode is about the thing no one taught you to trust:your desire.Specifically-- how to tune into and follow the wisdom of your pussy. Not the watered-down, socially acceptable version. Not the “I’d be happy with whatever” version. The real one.The inconvenient one.The one that makes your body lean forward before your brain can approve it.Because if your life doesn’t turn you on…another strategy, vacation, or retreat isn't going to fix it.It’s because you built it without eros.In this episode, we’re dismantling the myth that your pussy is “just for sex” (honestly, who approved that rebrand?) and reclaiming it as what it actually is:-your source of aliveness-your compass for desire-your access point to creation, wealth, and a life that feels like somethingYou’ll learn:— why living from your mind creates success that feels like a chore— why living from your heart feels beautiful… but often lacks edge and direction— what eros actually is (hint: it’s not just sexual, it’s the pulse of life itself)— how to move from desire → power → love → strategy (instead of starting with a 5-year plan and a prayer)This is for the woman who has done everything “right”……who has "it all on paper" but doesn't feel tuned in and turned on by her own life.A life with texture. With heat. With pull.A life where her desire doesn’t get negotiated down to something reasonable…but expanded into something extraordinary.Press play if you’re ready to start creating a life that feels better than a five star resort on a random Tuesday.
