Hunted & Haunted Evidence & Echoes: HH Holmes
🕯️ Listener discretion advised.Chicago, 1893.The World’s Fair promised progress, innovation, and a glimpse into the future. Millions traveled to see it — drawn by light, possibility, and the belief that they were safe. But just beyond that glow, H.H. Holmes was building something else.A hotel designed not for comfort, but for control.A structure filled with locked doors, hidden passages, and rooms that no one would leave. In this episode of Hunted & Haunted: Evidence & Echoes, we examine the life and crimes of H.H. Holmes — from his early manipulation and insurance fraud schemes to the construction of what would later be known as the “Murder Castle.”But this isn’t just about the building. It’s about the system he created. The people he targeted. And the way he controlled not only his victims… but his own story.Because even after his conviction, Holmes continued to shape the narrative — turning confession into performance, and truth into something far harder to pin down. This is not a story about chaos. It’s a story about precision.#HuntedAndHaunted#EvidenceAndEchoes#HHHolmes#TrueCrimePodcast#TrueCrimeStory#SerialKillers#MurderCastle#ChicagoHistory#WorldsFair1893#HistoricalTrueCrime#DarkHistory#CrimePodcast#TrueCrimeCommunity#UnsolvedMysteries#CriminalPsychology#VictimStories#PodcastEpisode#StorytellingPodcast#TrueCrimeYouTube#HistoryPodcast

Haunted & Haunted - Evidence & Echoes - Preston Castle
Preston Castle was built to reform boys who had “gone astray.”Completed in 1894 as the Preston School of Industry in Ione, California, the institution promised discipline, structure, and rehabilitation. What unfolded inside its stone walls was far more complicated — and far more troubling.Boys were subjected to rigid control, isolation, forced labor, and documented abuse. In 1950, sixteen-year-old William “Billy” Gonsalves died after being beaten by staff. That same year, head housekeeper Anna Corbin was murdered on the grounds. Her accused killer, Eugene Monroe, was tried three times for her death.Today, Preston Castle stands weathered and partially restored — its structure aging much like the system it once represented. In this episode of Hunted & Haunted: Evidence & Echoes, we examine the history, the documented violence, and the lingering atmosphere that keeps this location on every haunted list in Northern California. We don’t tell these stories for spectacle. We tell them because real people lived here.Real people suffered here. And real people deserve to be remembered by name.Preston CastlePreston School of IndustryIone CaliforniaHaunted CaliforniaHaunted LocationsCalifornia HistoryReform SchoolsInstitutional Abuse HistoryWilliam Billy GonsalvesAnna CorbinEugene MonroeHaunted Reform SchoolTrue Crime PodcastParanormal PodcastHistoric PrisonsAbandoned InstitutionsEvidence and EchoesHunted and HauntedNorthern California HistoryHaunted Places Documentary

Hunted & Haunted: Evidence & Echoes - The Plainfield Butcher
In 1950s Plainfield, Wisconsin, nothing bad was supposed to happen. It was a quiet farming town where doors stayed unlocked, neighbors waved, and people believed they knew one another. But beneath that calm surface lived a man shaped by isolation, control, and silence — and a truth the town never imagined it was holding. In this episode of Hunted & Haunted: Evidence & Echoes, we examine the life and crimes of Ed Gein, known as The Plainfield Butcher. Through a careful, long-form narrative, we explore his childhood under the dominance of his mother, the unanswered questions surrounding his family, the women whose lives were stolen, and the investigation that exposed one of the most disturbing crime scenes in American history. This is not a sensational retelling. It’s a study of how untreated mental illness, extreme isolation, and community silence can collide — and the consequences that follow when warning signs are ignored.Listener discretion is strongly advised.#HuntedAndHaunted#EvidenceAndEchoes#EdGein#ThePlainfieldButcher#TrueCrimePodcast#TrueCrime#LongFormTrueCrime#WisconsinTrueCrime#AmericanCrime#CriminalPsychology#MentalHealthAwareness#VictimFocused#EthicalTrueCrime#ColdCaseHistory#DarkHistory

Hunted & Haunted Evidence & Echoes - Alcatraz
What lingers on Alcatraz Island when the cells are empty? In this episode of Hunted & Haunted: Evidence & Echoes, we step onto The Rock to explore the memories it refuses to release — from brutal isolation in D-Block and the violence of the 1946 Battle of Alcatraz, to the unanswered questions surrounding the 1962 escape. We examine famous inmates like Al Capone, whose nights were filled with banjo music and fear, and ask whether the hauntings reported on the island are something supernatural… or something far more human.Through historical record, investigative findings, and a firsthand experience walking the island, this episode asks a quieter question:What happens when a place built for silence finally learns how to speak back?#HuntedAndHaunted#EvidenceAndEchoes#Alcatraz#HauntedHistory#ParanormalPodcast#AlcatrazIsland#HauntedPlaces#GhostStories#HistoricalHauntings#TrueParanormal #BattleOfAlcatraz#AlcatrazEscape#AlCapone#GhostAdventures#IndigenousHistory#PodcastLife#DarkHistory#CreepyHistory#Unexplained#HistoryMeetsParanormal
