Trusting God

Four astronauts circling the moon right now broke every distance record — because thousands of faithful, unnamed workers on the ground made it possible. God's divine movement works the same way. The mission goes farther than it has ever gone when every member is deployed, every letter is carried, and no one is sitting on the sidelines.

Jesus accepted the task that God the Father placed before Him. He came to the cross not as a victim but as a victor, and as a result, he stands in our place. Because of this substitution, there is forgiveness, full and free and everlasting.

Three thousand five hundred years after Creation, God's plan was still on course - but nobody was expecting this. Not a throne. Not a chariot. A donkey. The prophets wrote about is but could not process it. The priests read it but did not recognize it. But the children did. And the people who had been hiding in the shadows were suddenly bold enough to throw their cloaks on the road and be seen with the King. He was not hiding that day. They stopped hiding that day. Are you still hiding?

When Jesus passes by, He sees what others overlook. He steps toward the broken, touches what others avoid, and brings light into places long darkened by pain. Our brokenness is not a barrier to Him but the very place where His glory is revealed. When Jesus touches us, everything changes.

God is Always Faithful! Through every trial, loss, and season of life. God sustains His people. His promises never fail. He is constant, His Faithful. Our life and experiences are a testament that His faithfulness endures forever.

How can sinful people approach a holy God without dying? Once, there was a time that only the High Priest could enter God's presence—and only once a year, with blood and sacrifice. But Jesus became both Priest and Sacrifice. He opened the way. Now, the barrier is torn. Now, you can enter boldly. You can be clean. His loving arms are open wide to welcome you into his presence and warm embrace.
