Idle Ride

A podcast dedicated to low stakes deep dives into pop culture led by Marcy,  a middle-aged, multimedia casual consumer. She is joined by her chosen brother Paul as they discuss science fiction and post apocalyptic TV/Movies. They recently reviewed HBO’s The Last of Us and Avatar the Last Airbender on Netflix. They are now eager to begin discussing the TV show Fallout on Amazon Prime.Marcy and Paul have been friends and occasional roommates for over 20 years. This means that they've spent countless hours sitting on a couch together watching TV  and playing video games. Both of us love books and science, so most episodes include those things.  We'd love for you to join us on our cushy couch! Spoilers are expected with this show.

    Episode 4 of the Last of Us introduces the new character of Isaac played by Jeffery Wright, one of Marcy's favorite actors from other Sci Fi and post apocalyptic television shows and movies.     Paul and Marcy have been waiting for the episode Endure and Survive for quite some time. Two of the most beloved side characters from the game, Sam and Henry, join Ellie and Joel for a short time on their journey to Wyoming. Despite the sad ending, there is some fun to be had during this somber episode. Paul continues to force Marcy to talk about the Kathleen storyline, but  Marcy continues to reveal her bloodthirsty nature as she revels in the deaths of Kathleen and Perry at the hands of clickers. A podcast dedicated to low stakes deep dives into pop culture led by Marcy,  a middle-aged, multimedia casual consumer. She is joined by her chosen brother Paul as they discuss science fiction and post apocalyptic TV/Movies. They recently reviewed HBO’s The Last of Us and Avatar the Last Airbender on Netflix. They are now eager to begin discussing the TV show Fallout on Amazon Prime.Marcy and Paul have been friends and occasional roommates for over 20 years. This means that they've spent countless hours sitting on a couch together watching TV  and playing video games.
