    (DoD) Warrior Games - Pfc Kyia Costanzo

    U.S. Special Operations Command hosted the 2019 Department of Defense (DoD) Warrior Games this past June in Tampa Bay, Florida. Approximately 300 wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans participated in the competition. Competitors include active military service members and veterans with upper-body, lower-body, and spinal cord injuries; traumatic brain injuries; visual impairment; serious illnesses; and post-traumatic stress.     Team USA - Ms. Samery Moras

    Samery Moras is a former US Team competitor. Her various athletic accomplishments include being a 6-time US Collegiate National Champion & Team Member in Olympic-style Sparring and traveling all over the world winning International titles. She began her YouTube career by taking videos of her travel adventures while at overseas competitions. She now has one of the largest Taekwondo channels on YouTube where she shares her passion of Taekwondo through tutorials, training tips, and Taekwondo vlogs.

    Our guest today is Coach Craig Haase. He has been the Head Coach of the Varsity Boy's Basketball Team at Arrowhead High School for 19 years. In that time he has lead his teams to over 300 wins, six Classic 8 Conference championships, ten WIAA regional championships, three WIAA Final Four appearances, one WIAA Runner Up in 2017, and one WIAA State Championship in 2010.

    Kids Kicking Cancer - Gordon Merna & Michelle Lofy

    Duke Lee - Ignite Your Life Episode 10

    This week Dr. Piering talks with Master Duke Lee, owner of J.K. Lee's in Germantown, Wisconsin. Born in Korea, Duke immigrated to America and starting Martial Arts and J.K. Lee's when he was 17. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee then decided to pursue teaching martial arts as a career. Since then he has never looked back. Duke has competed in many tournaments, coached many top tier athletes, and is a referee for the Hanmadang, an international taekwondo tournament.

    Jordan Niebrugge - Ignite Your Life Episode 9

    Jordan Niebrugge is a professional golfer who most recently competed in the US Open. As an Amateur Jordan has quite a few wins under his belt. In 2010 he won the W Duncan MacMillan Classic. In 2013 he won the Wisconsin Match Play Championship, US Amateur Public Links, Wisconsin State Amateur and Western Amateur. IN 2014 he won The Amer Ari Invitation and in 2015 the NCAA New Haven Regional. During this episode, Dr. Piering and Jordan Neibrugge really break down what it means to focus. When performing at a high level focus becomes a habit. High level performers are able to ignore distractions and, if concenentration is broken, refocus despite distractions still going on around them.

    Jason Russell - Ignite Your Life Episode 8

    This week Dr. Piering is interviewing Jason Russell, a top athlete who competes in the world of sky diving. Jason Russell is a world record holder and a newly crowned Vertical Formation Skydiving World Champion with his SDC Core teammates, one of whom is his wife. Early in his career, he left motocross racing to compete in skydiving and now has made more than 14,000 jumps. Together Dr. Piering and Jason Russell will explore the mental attributes that are needed to become a top performer in skydiving and how those attributes transfer over into everyday life.

    This week Dr. Piering interviews Professor Brannon Beliso of One Martial Arts. Professor Beliso comes from a family of martial artists. His father taught martial arts and he has followed in his father’s footsetps teaching kenpo karate. As an 8th degree black belt Professor Beliso has studied Kenpo Karate for over forty five years. He also has training in Kung Fu, Juijitsu, Arnis, Boxing, and Kickboxing. One Martial Arts has two locations - one in San Francisco, CA and the other in Millbrae, CA.     Jin Lee - Ignite Your Life Episode 3

    This week's episode features Master Jin Lee, the owner and operator of J.K. Lee's Pewaukee. Mister Jin Lee started training when he was 8 years old. He went to college at the University of Wisconsin Madison where he graduated with a degree in Molecular Biology. He worked in his field for over a decade before deciding to follow his passion and teach martial arts. In 2002 Mister Jin Lee started teaching martial arts and opened his school 3 years later in 2005. Mister Jin Lee's family are all heavily involved in helping out with the school. His wife, Mrs. Sunmi Lee, and his children, Alexandra and Matthew, are heavily involved in helping the school run smooth.

Lee Black Belt Academy was started by Master Lee's father Grandmaster J.K. Lee over 40 years ago. Master Chan Lee has since expanded from a single school to 6 locations.
