    Movement

There's an area of your life you keep wishing were different, and somehow it never moves. The reason is simpler than you think: you can't keep doing what you've always done and expect a different result. Real change starts with movement — and movement starts with a single word of faith spoken over the place that feels dead. This is the first message in our Growth series, built on the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37. When God walks the prophet through a field of dry, hopeless bones, he asks a strange question: "Can these bones live?" From the apostle Paul getting up after he was stoned and left for dead, to the quiet, unglamorous consistency behind Tom Brady's career, to the simple fact that you only ever take one step at a time, this message lands on four practical moves out of a stuck season: hear the word, obey, move, and practice. The big idea underneath all of it — as long as there's still a pulse, it's not over. Growth doesn't happen because of the struggle, but in the struggle.Scriptures referenced in this episode: Acts 14:19–22, Ezekiel 37:1–14, 1 Kings 19:11–12, 2 Kings 5, Genesis 22, Mark 11:23, 2 Corinthians 12:9–10, James 1:2–4, and 2 Corinthians 5:8.

    Fighting for The Word

The fight in your head is fought with words. And the only words that hold up are the ones you actually know. This week's message is about why most of us are losing a battle we were never meant to fight alone — and what changes when you stop borrowing belief from other people. We start in Jesus' parable of the sower, where a seed only grows in soil that's been given time and understanding. From there we trace the way doubt, fear, anxiety, shame, and condemnation show up the moment a promise from God lands in your life — not as random feelings, but as targeted pushback against something the enemy doesn't want taking root. Then the sermon turns: the Word of God is powerful whether you believe it or not. It doesn't need your endorsement to work. You don't fight for the Bible. You fight with it. And the people walking around tired and anxious aren't tired because the Bible doesn't work — they're tired because they're trying to win a battle without picking up the sword they were handed.Scriptures referenced in this episode: Psalm 19:7–11, Matthew 24:35, Hebrews 4:12, Matthew 13:18–23, Ephesians 2:10, Exodus 3:9–11, Proverbs 22:6, Joshua 1:9, Proverbs 3:5–6, John 13:7, Psalm 138:8, Philippians 4:19, Psalm 25:8–10, 1 Peter 5:5, Jeremiah 24:7, 1 Peter 3:12, Ephesians 6:17, 1 Timothy 1:18.

    Renewed Mind

You don't drift into a better life. Your default wiring pulls you toward yourself — what you want, when you want it — and hearing the right things won't rewire that mind for you. This episode unpacks what actually has to happen for the way you think to change.Anchored in Romans 12:2 and the long arc of Jacob's life across Genesis 25 through 33, this message names the magnetic pull most of us live under — a self-centered, opportunistic way of operating that feels normal because everyone around us is doing it — and follows Jacob to the night his mind finally changed: alone in the dark, wrestling with God, refusing to let go until he was blessed. The science backs the story. Neuroplasticity confirms that meditation, repetition, and disciplined attention literally rewire the brain. Your mind can become new, but only when you stop letting go of what God says the moment a contrary thought shows up.Scriptures referenced in this episode: Romans 12:2, Proverbs 23:7, 2 Timothy 3:1–5, Genesis 25:24–34, Genesis 27, Genesis 29:15–30, Genesis 32:24–28, Genesis 33:1–11, 2 Corinthians 10:5.

    Hearing the Word

You can read the Bible cover to cover and still feel like God isn't speaking to you. This message names why — and what to do about it.Pastor Joe walks through two Greek words for "word" used in Scripture: logos, the eternal written Word, and rhema, the fresh, personal word God speaks into a specific moment in your life. One without the other leaves you stuck. He traces both through John 1, Revelation 19, and Ephesians 6, then tells the story of the rhema word God gave him 27 years ago in the middle of a traumatic divorce — a single sentence dropped into his spirit on I-95 that, 24 years later, made him chief of police of the very agency God had pointed to that day. The arc lands on a practical promise: if you stay rooted in the written Word, God will speak personally into what you're carrying. The message closes with four ways to position yourself to actually hear Him.Scriptures referenced in this episode: Psalm 119:105, John 1:1–3, John 1:14, Revelation 19:13, Matthew 16:23, Ephesians 6:17, Matthew 6:26, Matthew 4:4, Luke 1:38, Luke 3:2.

    A Changed Heart

The world tells you most people are good and that with enough discipline you can become the version of yourself you're supposed to be. But what if the thing you're trying to fix isn't on the surface — what if it's your heart, and what if you can't reach it from the outside? This week's message takes an honest look at why self-improvement runs out of road, and what God has promised to do that we could never pull off in our own strength. The Bible calls the human heart "desperately wicked" — sick in a way no routine, no resolution, and no try-harder Monday can cure. But Ezekiel records God's promise to give us a new heart and a new spirit, and the story of Zacchaeus shows us what that looks like in real life. A small, despised tax collector climbed above the crowd, looked at Jesus, and was called righteous before he ever changed a single behavior. The transformation didn't earn the new heart — it flowed from it.If you've been white-knuckling your way toward a better version of yourself and wondering why nothing seems to stick at the deepest level, this episode is an invitation to stop trying to fix yourself and start letting Jesus give you something new.Scriptures referenced in this episode: Jeremiah 17:9, James 1:23-25, Ezekiel 36:25-27, Luke 19:1-10, Revelation 3:20.
