Before he ever led 300 men into battle, he was hiding, doubting, and questioning whether God had really chosen him. We unpack who Baal was, why Israel kept turning away from God, and what happened when Gideon’s obedience completely changed his relationship with his own family. We also talk about the reality that following Jesus can sometimes create tension in our closest relationships and why that’s not always a sign you’re doing something wrong. HAPPY NEW YEAAAAARRR!!!! & what better place to start us off than with a new cast for the Real Housewives of Genesis??? Our heel-grabbing brother, Jacob, is on the run and he has run a mighty long way. This story is one of those humble reminders that we truly can NEVER know who God will move through. No one is too far gone; no one is too stubborn; no one has messed up that bad. The same God who could truly put a stop to our stubbornness and unwillingness with JUST A TOUCH, is the same God who loves us enough to still gently lets us go through the wrestling match if we need it. I can't tell you how much i LOVE this story. PLEASE READ IT. The chapters feel like they fly by because there's not a single uneventful section. I pray that those who hear this story, will read the story, and in reading the story, grow in their walks with Christ. in Jesus name AMEN.

I actually feel like the title really sums up today's episode... But before we get there, we have unfinished business with the Real Housewives of Genesis!! This episode is one of the more perplexing to me, but even in the things I don't understand, one thing remains true - God keeps his promises.!!! I also found it interesting that sometimes God will bless even your 'detour' path for His LOVE FOR YOU. Our last episode of 2024!! I pray this podcast has blessed you all as much as it has me, I pray that this is about more than a funny story but rather that an interest stirs inside that brings the walls blocking you from reading the Word down, and brings us all closer to Jesus.
