Talking about other Proms stars, Sean welcomed David Charles Abell and singer Caroline O'Connor to discuss their concert on Saturday July 31st, entirely dedicated to Stephen Sondheim and his musicals, as he reaches the age of 80. Our last contribution comes from singers Ben Heppner and Violeta Urmana, who perform on Sunday August 1st, in a programme including scenes from Berlioz's Romeo and Juliet and Wagner's Tristan and Isolde, with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment conducted by Sir Simon Rattle.
