Episode 1273: Eclectic Avenue 260603 Trust in the you of now
An interesting theme which allowed Bernie to reminisce on his younger self and some of the things associated with getting older, Sandy to play a bunch of songs with a vague connection to the theme, and Michael go on about radical self-acceptance. Needless to say, there is an eclectic range of music played for you to enjoy.

Episode 1272: Everyone Deserves Music with Scott - 31 May 2026
National Reconciliation Week runs 27 May-3 June and we kick off this show with a 2019 duet from Yirrmal and Jordie Lane, released for NRW 2019. The main theme for this show is looking at slections from Pollen Music Club - the Instagram site hosted by Joe Agius of RINSE / Hatchie fame. All tracks on this show are recent purchases from Bandcamp - an excellent site for purchasing music in all it's various forms - digital, vinyl, cassette, CD as well as merch. It's important to still buy music in this streaming age. There's two tracks not from Bandcamp and they are the closing tracks 'Arms of Love' by Michael Stipe / R.E.M. which is a rarity. I first heard Stipe's version on the 1993 Benefit album 'In Defense of Animals' put out by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). I've included each version here. This is a nod to my plant-based diet of 5 years now. Artists include Caroline Polachek, GUV, Lala Lala, Chanel Beads, Swapmeet, Ms Ray (feat Nourished by Time), Horse Vision, media puzzle, Sunday Mourners, Avalon Emerson and the Charm, Robber Robber, Victoryland, Bonniesongs, Robert Lester Folsom, Snail Mail, Iceage, Francis of Delirium, Arlo Parks, The Healing Power of Horses and Deary. Episode 1264: Uncut & Unsigned May 26 Lapis Sky
Part 1: Join Shippa as he tries to cope with the solitude after Tony escaped from the Portarlington chill to the warm climes of the Saltash tributaries on the Cornish coast. Shippa’s wondering if the sky is as blue there as it is here, or is it a deeper blue sky…maybe even a deep dark blue like a Lapis Sky. Well, at least he can ask Claude Fonseca whether there is such a natural phenomenon, or is Lapis Sky simply the name of his band, creating a sound from the past with such modern overtones, as he keeps Shippa company and chats with him about all things Lapis Sky-wise.Part 2: Shippa gets stuck into some new submissions from up and coming artists in the second half of the show, with tracks from Lewin Grimley & The Broken Strings (Brisbane), Aleksiah (Adelaide), Spoils (Cincinatti, Ohio), Sega Jade (Wollongong), The Locustz - feat Rick Springfield, Matt & Gregg Bissonette (Aus/USA), giddy (Sydney), Darlinghurst (Melbourne), The Revstars (Geelong), The Mellons (Salt Lake City, Utah), Vinted Veneer (Brisbane), Post Script Philosophy (Newcastle) and After Ford (Brisbane), and with no Tony to surprise, there’s no Shippa’s Surprise...yes, the kids were disappointed!
