Hi I’m Christina, host of Indiscreet.I’ve had a few unusual jobs in my life: hosting a party bus (catered to only bachelor parties), organizing speed dating events and I’ve even been interviewed by a local television station who dubbed me a “Dating Expert” (their words not mine). However, I think the most unconventional job was 10+ years working in adult stores.I started this podcast in order to explore and share stories with my fellow adult store cohort (an industry only few get to experience), but after recording a couple of episodes I realized that there was so much more to it than that. It turns out this podcast is actually about the workers, the patrons, the detractors, the industry as a whole and the way our culture still struggles with the topic of sex: Who is having it? What are they doing? And why are we so obsessed with it?
