Insider Kyle Neddenriep talks it over with Trevor Andershock and Jeff Schoenle, along with coaches Chris Hawkins of Crispus Attucks, Garrett Winegar of Fishers and Adrian Moss of Franklin discuss their sectional draw and teams.

There is less than a month remaining in the high school boys basketball regular season. Which means it is a good time to start taking a longer look at the candidates for the Indiana All-Star team. Preps Insider Kyle Neddenriep is joined by Trevor Andershock and Jeff Schoenle to discuss what they think are locks for the 13-player team, players they think could make it and others who deserve mention.

George McGinnis, one of the best basketball players to come from Indiana, died Thursday at age 73. Before his college and NBA careers, McGinnis was a basketball star at Washington High School, where he helped the Continentals to an undefeated season and 1969 state championship. Preps Insider Kyle Neddenriep caught up with McGinnis’ high school teammate and close friend Jim Arnold to talk about McGinnis and his memories of the man on and off the court.

Clarence Crain was recently announced as an Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame inductee and will go into the Hall of Fame officially in March. The 1969 Shortridge graduate and Indiana All-Star discusses his playing career, including his time at Butler, and more with Kyle Neddenriep.

Sam Orme is one of the top senior basketball players in the state going into his senior season at Carmel. The 6-8 Orme averaged 11.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game last season to help the Greyhounds to an 18-6 season and a heartbreaking loss to Westfield in the sectional championship, ending a streak of seven consecutive sectional titles.
