Unraveling Political Theory: What Is Neoconservatism?
To understand the world of politics and change it for the better, it’s paramount that people begin to study political theory and the ways in which it has manifest throughout history up into the present day. By bringing light to the origins of political and philosophical thought, the present day becomes all the more explainable because one is now able to see the logical progression of such manifestations. With this urge to better understand the root of many of the common political ideologies present in the world, The Last American Vagabond has decided to team up with Keith Preston in a new podcast series in which the who, what, where, when and how of different political theories will be explored. INTRODUCTION For those unaware, Keith Preston was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, United States. He received a B.A. in Religious Studies and an M.A. in History from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, with additional graduate study in Sociology and Criminology. Keith is a former instructor of Sociology at John Tyler Community College. He is a former regional delegate for the Industrial Workers of the World and a former member of the National Committee of the Workers Solidarity Alliance, the U.S. section of the International Workers Association. He is the founder and director of American Revolutionary Vanguard and the chief editor of AttacktheSystem.com. Keith has been a contributor to LewRockwell.com, Antiwar.com, Anti-State.com, Taki’s Magazine, and AlternativeRight.com. He was awarded the 2008 Chris R. Tame Memorial Prize by the United Kingdom’s Libertarian Alliance for his essay, “Free Enterprise: The Antidote to Corporate Plutocracy.” Keith has been a featured speaker at conferences of the National Policy Institute and the H. L. Mencken Club. He has been interviewed on numerous internet podcast and radio programs and appeared as a guest analyst on Russia Today and BBC Persian. He is also host of the ongoing “Attack the System” online podcast series. google_ad_client = "ca-pub-5807693131529619"; google_ad_slot = "4202262887"; google_ad_width = 600; google_ad_height = 90; Episode 3: Neoconservatism In episode 3, Keith and Tim examine what is commonly referred to as neoconservatism, which is an ideology that has come to dominate the politics of the Republican Party for the last couple decades, particularly during the George W. Bush presidency. Unbeknownst to many conservatives is the historical foundation upon which neoconservatism was built, specifically how its roots can be traced back to communism and in particular Trotskyism. What makes this so interesting is that many conservatives see themselves as being rabidly outspoken against communism, yet the truth is that many of the leaders they’re voting into power to represent the Republican Party are in fact ideologues with communist roots. As mentioned in the previous episode, neoliberalism is the economic engine driving globalism. Similarly, neoconservatism is the muscle enforcing globalism around the world. Without brute force to backup these globalists’ policies, many nations would resist them and not conform to the western consensus. The neocons flex their muscles most notably by interventionist wars, such as in Iraq and Afghanistan while George W. Bush was president. These imperialist endeavors are often justified by claiming that they are spreading “freedom/democracy,” defending their ally Israel, fighting a holy war against Islam, and most notably, that America is exceptional and it’s our duty to take care of the entire world. At their core, the neocons are interested world domination with America as the undisputed leader. google_ad_client = "ca-pub-5807693131529619"; google_ad_slot = "4202262887"; google_ad_width = 600; google_ad_height = 90; Unfortunately, if one takes a step back and looks at the foreign policy of the U.S. government over the last few decades, it’s pretty clear that the neocons have implemented disastrous, if not treasonous policies that go against the will of the American people. This idea that America should be the policemen of the world and that every nation needs to cater to our interests or risk invasion is a barbaric and misguided way of viewing the world that needs to be stomped out if peace is to be achieved amongst nations. It also must be understood that this radical war against Islam being waged by the neocons will go nowhere until they address the people within the U.S. government who are actively funding, arming, and training the Islamic rebels they claim to be fighting against, who in turn fight the proxy wars on behalf of the U.S. To break away from such a toxic system, that has resulted in millions of civilian deaths around the world, it’s paramount that people begin to learn how this system functions; specifically the who, what, where, when, and why behind the neoconservative ideology. Once people begin to identify the core of the ideology and how it all works, then they can begin the necessary process of uprooting it and ultimately replacing it with something much better. The goal of this podcast is simply to aid in the process of understanding the problem, because here at The Last American Vagabond, we know that a better world is attainable if we keep seeking out the truth and building on those enhanced understandings. In their doctrine, neoliberals claim that laissez-faire free markets will bring maximum prosperity to the world, but the reality seems to be quite different. When we study their actions over the last 4o+ years, we notice that neoliberals are very much in favor of state intervention for the benefit of the dominant ruling class, while the concerns of everyone else are completely forgotten. The obvious contradiction here is that the use of state intervention to benefit the elite class is inherently against free market principles; therefore, it can’t even be considered of free market origin. When looking at the past neoliberal administrations and the policies they have implemented, what we often see is privatization of key assets in society, austerity measures the result to cuts in social programs and abolition of workers rights, international free trade agreements that benefit big businesses, deregulation of laws the hold corporations in check like pollution standards, and exploitation of foreign countries by the more dominant western societies. When adding all these policies together, what starts to emerge is an enormous wealth gap between the elite class and everyone else, mostly because the dominant class has free reign over most of the key markets and assets around the world, while at the same time utilizing cheap labor and defunding social safety nets. In reality, neoliberalism is the economic engine of the current manifestation of globalism, while neo-conservatism could be considered the military side of globalism. It’s becoming abundantly clear that society needs to eradicate the cancer of neoliberalism from the world, especially when considering that the worlds eight richest people have as much wealth as the bottom half. This is a trend that is only getting worse. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that the current path is simply unsustainable and will lead to massive social unrest if not properly dealt with, and rightfully so. To break away from such a toxic system that has its tentacles all over the world, it’s paramount that people begin to learn how this system is created; specifically the who, what, where, when, and why behind the neoliberal ideology. Once people begin to identify the core of the ideology and how it all works, then they can begin the necessary process of uprooting it and ultimately replacing it with something much better. Episode 1: Cultural Marxism In this episode Keith and Tim Bryant take a look at Cultural Marxism, which is the transformation of the political left from a party focused on the eternal class struggle in society of labor workers vs. the elite owners of capital, to a party focused on cultural infiltration in order to weed out the “oppressors and oppressions” within society. Stemming from the commonly held belief that the workers of the world were bought off by the elite capitalists through consumerism, the left thought it was no longer fruitful to keep fighting capitalism. Instead, their new method of redefining Western society was to be carried out by infiltrating the culture and remaking it in the image of an equal world free of the old cultural and economic values. The concept of Cultural Marxism is often referred to as political correctness, which is the creation of a culture where no one can criticize anyone because that will hurt someone’s feelings. In this PC culture, the white male is thought of as the number one aggressor and must be brought down a peg so the culture as a whole can even out, and all races, genders, sexual orientations, and religions can be equal. Many of its manifestations in political activism include racism, sexism, ageism, feminism, the LBGTQ community, veganism, environmentalism, and a plethora of other social justice warrior causes that aim to fight for the oppressed within society. google_ad_client = "ca-pub-5807693131529619"; google_ad_slot = "4202262887"; google_ad_width = 600; google_ad_height = 90; The goal of this video is not to put down or discriminate any of these causes, but instead to give some historical context as to how all of these causes stem from Cultural Marxism, or what Keith Preston refers to as “totalitarian humanism,” as well as an honest critique of the positives and negatives of such an ideological framework. It’s clear the left has taken pride in being the party of social justice warriors, while the right has responded with major backlash towards it, being very quick to call many of them out for losing the plot. However, despite the major differences of perception when it comes to Cultural Marxism, the real question should be whether or not there is some middle ground that all can agree to and build upon? If society is to truly change, everyone must learn to see through the lenses of differing political ideologies, so that instead of focusing on the divides that keep us running nowhere, we can see the commonalities that bond us and build foundations upon those. The first step is awareness, and knowledge is key to awareness. Next Week's Topic: What is Neo-Liberalism?

What Is The Ideal Size Of Government?
While many today never think to question the size of government, the truth is that this issue has long been the topic of debate, especially during the founding of the United States of America. While no one truly has all the answers and there may not even be a perfect solution, Tim and Jay attempt to dissect this question a bit more thoroughly to see what kind of solutions they can come up with. google_ad_client = "ca-pub-5807693131529619"; google_ad_slot = "4202262887"; google_ad_width = 600; google_ad_height = 90;

Media Wars: Fighting For Your Perception
This "fake news" scare tactic that mainstream media is pushing with every modicum of influence it retained following the extremely embarrassing yet revealing 2016 Selection, is all anchored on the very McCarthyist-style list that was quickly spread without verification and with zero due diligence by the entirety of mainstream media, yet touted as a verifiable list of "fake news." This was done so because it reinforced the establishment talking point that, "alternative media is dangerous and not to be trusted." So regardless of the list's veracity, and the questionable legitimacy of the site from which the list originated, the establishment narrative always takes precedent over the truth ... unless you are part of the Alternative Media of course. Such a careless and irresponsible lack of research and verification(the very qualifying characteristic on which they arbitrarily deem a site to be "fake news" and Russian propaganda) on the part of the many mainstream outlets that published such a slanderous and defamatory list, needs to be acknowledged. Yet, many who still maintain the validity of mainstream media would claim that to be an off-base accusation to distract from the real problem, and that the list is an accurate and properly vetted compilation of fake news sites. However, they would be fundamentally wrong, just ask the Washington Post. Quoted from Zero Hedge: In the latest example why the “mainstream media” is facing a historic crisis of confidence among its readership, facing unprecedented blowback following Craig Timberg November 24 Washington Post story “Russian propaganda effort helped spread ‘fake news’ during election, experts say,” on Wednesday a lengthy editor’s note appeared on top of the original article in which the editor not only distances the WaPo from the “experts” quoted in the original article whose “work” served as the basis for the entire article (and which became the most read WaPo story the day it was published) but also admits the Post could not “vouch for the validity of PropOrNot’s finding regarding any individual media outlet,” in effect admitting the entire story may have been, drumroll “fake news” and conceding the Bezos-owned publication may have engaged in defamation by smearing numerous websites with patently false and unsubstantiated allegations. It was the closest The Washington Post would come to formally retracting the story, which has now been thoroughly discredited not only by outside commentators, but by its own editor. google_ad_client = "ca-pub-5807693131529619"; google_ad_slot = "4202262887"; google_ad_width = 600; google_ad_height = 90; This admission by WaPo requires some serious reflection by all those screaming Fake News at anything they disagree with. The paper's use of an unverified and now discredited list on which to create this entire witch-hunt, completely dismantles the entire fake news/Russian propaganda story line that was always intended to destroy any opposition(such as the alt media) and stifle any dissenting minds that might disagree or oppose what they choose to declare as the Truth; because everyone knows that mainstream media has never lied before, or manipulated the public for benefit. It is time for everyone to once again reevaluate what they choose to put their faith in, if anything. It is beginning to become clear, especially to the many recently awakening to the propaganda, that the mainstream media will do whatever is necessary to win this battle for American minds, including lie, cheat, and fabricate entire stories or events designed to discredit those they see as a threat to the media monopoly they have enjoyed for decades. That has now begun to come to an end as the masses find their way to the light. However, once the light is reached, one still has to look; and at that moment of truth, many will chose to retreat and seek out the comforting suffocation of the State-sponsored reality. So I leave you with this rousing call from an earlier article, to simply find the courage to face that truth: All it takes is for one to look. Not believe, just look, and one will no doubt begin to question all they thought to be the “facts.” It is highly likely that the masses declaring this story “fake news” have either not looked at any of the evidence, and are fully trusting the discredited mainstream media at their own peril, or have looked at the faux coverage plastered on every mainstream outlet that gleans over the most important facts, claiming it’s the whole story, and instead highlights the most bizarre and inconsequential aspects of the case. This leaves those watching, feeling as if they have done their due diligence and looked at all the evidence, when in fact they have been manipulated. They then take to the “fake news-laden Internet“(that they now loath so much) and begin to self-righteously spread the very fake news they are so afraid of. These naive souls have become the unwitting vessels for the very fake news they feel is destroying our understanding of what is real and what’s not, or whatever scaremongering narrative they bought into. Some of these blind followers(that have been cleverly convinced they are critically thinking leaders) have simply bought in too deep and will never defy the mainstream line of thinking. Yet, it’s likely that many are just unaware that they are resting their entire belief structure on half-truths and intentional lies, and if confronted with the whole story, would be yet another mind freed from the shackles of government-controlled media, that will no doubt join the ranks of the Alternative Revolution. All we ask, is that you look… google_ad_client = "ca-pub-5807693131529619"; google_ad_slot = "4202262887"; google_ad_width = 600; google_ad_height = 90; Sources: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-12-07/washington-post-apends-russian-propaganda-story-admits-it-may-be-fake , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrposIytgoE, https://www.thelastamericanvagabond.com/top-news/forgotten-continent-hidden-truths-africa/, https://www.thelastamericanvagabond.com/foreign-policy/obama-creates-new-al-qaeda-thin-air-justify-somalia-war/, https://www.thelastamericanvagabond.com/censorship/begins-police-say-conspiracy-theory-clinton-child-sex-ring-made-man-shoot-pizza-shop/, https://www.thelastamericanvagabond.com/conspiracy/13-essential-data-points-pizzagate-pedophilia-allegations/, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrposIytgoE, http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/trump-threatens-cancel-air-force-one-order-boeing-stock-slips-n692511, https://www.thelastamericanvagabond.com/propaganda/5-stories-mainstream-media-reported-real-fake/

DAPL, PizzaGate and the War on “Fake News”
In the past year, much has begun to shift toward a new and unprecedented path for the nation. For the first time in living memory, Americans are beginning to question en masse what is handed down by the ruling faction, instead of simply falling in line. This is clearly demonstrated by the last-ditch effort of the dying mainstream media. They are now leveling the absurdly unverified accusation that any alternative news outlet, any blogger, anyone writing slightly controversial fortune cookies, are all "Fake News" as well as the new hyperbolic stone cast--that they're also all Russian agents. As that is entirely possible, we all must ask ourselves why they are not required to give even the smallest measure of proof to back up such accusations, just as they criticize the alt media for allegedly doing; this is indeed the year of contradictions. Every list of "fake news" is quickly being spread by the majority of mainstream outlets without even the slightest due diligence, and are completely compiled by way of personal opinion. Using these lists to restrict anyone from publishing either news or opinion, or even intentional lies, would be and already is, one of the largest and most blatant violations of constitutional rights in the history of censorship. Every American has the write to speak their mind, be it lies, half-truths or the elite's Truth, it's all protected under the Constitution of the United States of America, that which used to dictate the actions of the country's leaders, yet now is seen as a hinderance to those seeking control of the American people. (function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:9922211435978342,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-1522-2713"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs"); Violating an American's First Amendment right doesn't even seem to make them flinch, which should tell us something. It seems the people are meant to blindly believe what is pumped out; have faith if you will, as if it's some new form of religion for those still lost in the lies, "whatever we say, it's Truth; whatever they say, it's Lies, no need to look for yourself." Mainstream media has completely crossed into new territory due to this election that clearly shook the establishment. It now seems to be grasping at whatever will give it an edge over the quickly rising alternative media that has stolen the people's attention and their trust, which includes but is not limited to, outright fabrications. In this episode we are further discussing President-Elect Donald Trump, with the new segment "Trump News," both scrutinizing him when he missteps and praising him when he stays true to his promises, like any rational person should. We also breakdown the Dakota Access Pipeline and why those only watching mainstream media are being manipulated. And most importantly, the rising "Media War" between alt media and MSM, a war on "fake news" as its being called, which includes the ongoing #Pizzagate story and how it is being intentionally censored by the very officials meant to be protecting the people from such deviant actions. We advocate that everyone take charge of their own political education and actively do their own research and investigation. The power to enact change is meant to be in the hands of the people, but unless we begin paying attention, asking questions and getting involved, this country will remain the same at best, and at worst ... further fall into the hands of those who care not for the people, but only for their own ambition.

Trump “Promises,” Pizzagate, and the Establishment’s Dark Secrets
Welcome to TLAV Political Roundtable. In this show we break down the week of politics, and discuss its implication on American life, and the world. Today we are further discussing Donald, his "Trump Promises" and his overall direction, as well as the very serious, and very real scandal poorly named "Pizzagate;" which, if you have yet to research this topic, pertains to a massive pedophile ring at the highest level of power, and is quite disturbing. We do not enjoy covering such disconcerting topics, yet we see it as our duty to inform you of the Truth, no matter how unbelievable or unsettling; and as these events are backed by WikiLeaks and years of case studies and testimony, their validity should no longer be in question, only the extent to which it reaches. Humanity is certainly capable of both extreme good, and extreme evil. With topics such as Pizzagate, it becomes clear that power and influence play a major role in allowing such extreme evil to go on unabated and unacknowledged by the many officials who no doubt came into contact with some measure of this massive scandal that reaches throughout the world, and back decades, if not indefinitely. Many who were confronted with this sinister concept might not have fully realized what they were seeing, and some likely did not want to believe it if they did. (function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:9922211435978342,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-1522-2713"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs"); Which is exactly what is happening currently, and is precisely why it is so important to make sure the average person is made aware of this story's authenticity, in spite of the mainstream effort to cast doubt and create shade for those involved. Many have attempted to shine a light in these terrible circles, such as Elijah Woods and Corey Feldman, who both spoke out about personal experiences with pedophilia in Hollywood and alluded to a much larger ring than just one or two perpetrators; and each was met with disdain instead of compassion; shunned instead of consoled; and that in and of itself should allow many to see past the years of propaganda.

TLAV Political Roundtable: Post Election
Welcome to the first episode of TLAV Political Roundtable. In this show we will be breaking down the week's politics, and discussing its implication on American life, and the world. We advocate that everyone take charge of their own political education and actively do their own research and investigation. The power to enact change is meant to be in the hands of the people, but unless we begin paying attention, asking questions and getting involved, this country will remain the same at best, and at worst ... further fall into the hands of those who care not for the people, but only for their own ambition. What do you see happening in the first year of this Trump presidency? Will he follow through with his promises; even the crude and unnecessary ones? Will he lead this country back to a place of prosperity, or will he fall victim to the overwhelming pressure to fall in line with the establishment? Will he put Hillary Clinton in prison, where she no doubt belongs? Your opinions matter to us, so please join the conversation in the comment section below, because it's your thoughts, collectively, however "outside-the-box" they may be, that should be guiding this nation, and not the elite few who currently are. (function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:9922211435978342,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-1522-2713"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

Your Government Legally Owns You, So What Can You Do About It?
A growing number of people are starting to unveil the plethora of hidden truths that are right there for us to see if we simply dig past the surface and think logically. It started with simpler truths like our media being controlled, the banking system being a Ponzi scheme, and GMO’s being destructive for our health, but over time the uncomfortable revelations have started to progress into much deeper and uncomfortable truths about 9/11, or the counter-culture being manufactured by intelligence agencies, and many elites being tied to Satanism and/or child pedophilia. I know this may be extremely difficult for many people to hear, let alone fathom, but there seems to be a lot of truth being hidden in these fields of research. I’m not asking you to take my word for it, because everyone should research this information for themselves, but the reality appears to be a lot more evil and complex than most people want to believe. The rabbit hole goes very deep and has spanned many generations, making it all the more difficult to come to terms with. However, we can’t hide from these truths; and instead must learn to accept them and move forward. google_ad_client = "ca-pub-5807693131529619"; google_ad_slot = "4202262887"; google_ad_width = 600; google_ad_height = 90; One of the deeper and more profound truths coming to light revolves around the legal system, and is largely rooted in the unknown concept of what's know as a "legal strawman." To briefly summarize this idea, the major premise is that each citizen is by legal definition a corporation, which is then owned by a larger corporation, the government, which seems to be owned by a larger corporation, the Crown of England and/or the Vatican. So in essence, people are legally considered the stock of their government, which is a corporation in and of itself. This means that everything you think you own, is in fact owned by the government since they own you. This didn’t happen by accident either, as it has been the product of a long and complex deception by the very same people responsible for almost all the other problems being uncovered by various independent researchers. In fact, the faulty legal system that people have been swindled into believing is real, which cons them into voluntarily giving up their sovereign rights as natural human beings, is at the core of the entire conspiracy to enslave humanity. Without this structure in place, many of the other games being played would be in jeopardy of collapse. The goal of the following podcast is to introduce what exactly the legal strawman is and how it came about in the hopes that awareness on the subject can spark the winds of change and further the restoration of personal sovereignty. I hope people will strengthen their knowledge on this subject because uprooting the core of our issues is the only way true change will manifest. Please keep an open mind and do go explore this subject on your own, so we can take this knowledge to new heights. Better knowledge breeds enhanced actions in the physical world. Plenty of sources will be provided for people to explore further.

Exploring Free Market Anti-Capitalism: The Unknown Bridge Between The Left And Right
To most people, the left and right of the political spectrum are polar opposites, which cannot be linked together due to ideological beliefs that are incompatible. On the surface, this seems to be the case, as political divisions are divergent as ever, especially in the United States. However, unbeknownst to many, including myself until just recently, there is a small faction of people who have attempted to synthesize together, both the right’s idea of free markets and the left’s idea of giving labor their full value, into an all-encompassing belief system that some refer to as Free Market Anti-Capitalism, Left Libertarianism, or Mutualism. To comprehend the logic behind the term Free Market Anti-Capitalism, we must first begin to understand the historical context, as well as the current use of the word capitalism and socialism. The goal behind this is to allow people on both the left and right to see and appreciate how different ideologies view the term, rather than just being stubborn and only recognizing your own. We won’t solve anything and move forward until we can at least see how the other side defines such key words. Real free markets, absent of state tools like intellectual property rights, mandatory occupational licensing, corporate welfare, and many more; are far more radical than many conservatives or even libertarians will entertain. In Free Market Anti-Capitalism, the goal is to completely open markets to the people, rather than only bring down a few select barriers. The term free market is something most people don’t take far enough. Also, many people equate free markets with capitalism, when in fact they are two different terms with two different meanings, at least according to more accurate and historical definitions. Once we understand the historical definitions of capitalism and socialism, and comprehend the real context of free markets, we should start to see that anti-capitalism and free markets are one in the same. Not only can they be synthesized together into one coherent belief system, but it can be argued quite strongly that free markets would most likely lead to anti-capitalist ends, meaning labor would be on par with producers. Essentially, the belief is that real free markets would lead to socialist ends, as in decentralized structures of power where workers/people own the means of production and big businesses cannot come to dominate. This is not the cause of state intervention either, but purely based upon the outcome of totally free markets. In fact, we can even synthesize the subjective theory of value with the labor theory of value to form a single rational doctrine that works. These two theories of value have often divided economists into different camps, when in reality they are complimentary with each other. Once we open our minds and see that these two ideologies are very compatible, we find out that bridging the gap between the left and the right of the political spectrum is far more possible than most people realize. google_ad_client = "ca-pub-5807693131529619"; google_ad_slot = "4202262887"; google_ad_width = 600; google_ad_height = 90; To explore the details and ramifications of the above realizations, I invited onto the podcast Keith Preston. Agorism And How To Change The System Directly With Derrick Broze
Understanding the problems facing humanity is incredibly important if we are to change the world. How can you change the world if you don’t understand the full scope of the problem? The answer is you can’t, and the alternative media has done a great job of unmasking the litany of problems we must conquer if we are to see a better world. However, once we have a clear understanding of the problems, we must evolve to the next stage in the process of change: action! Without action, knowing the entire list of problems is immaterial since you are not going to physically do anything about them. In many ways, action is a lot tougher to implement because it requires people to physically venture outside of their comfort zone as opposed to doing research within the confines of their own home. So what kind of actions can we take? This is a tough question; one for which you will find many answers from a variety of sources. One such possibility to consider is agorism, which is the often forgotten or completely unknown tactic for manifesting change. Agorism is simply a way of competing with the established system by taking actions outside the system through what is called counter-economics, as opposed to trying to bring about change by using the system. We often think that we must change the system, but maybe the answer is competing against the system and making it obsolete. (Related Reading: “Starve The Beast, Feed The Light”) To discuss this idea of agorism and how it can empower the people and be used to enact change, The Last American Vagabond welcomes Derrick Broze, a well-respected journalist in alternative media, and more importantly, a real time activist who is actually on the ground taking action. We not only add context to the idea of agorism in the interview, but we take it a step further by discussing real solutions that listeners can take and implement in their own lives and communities. We are the awakening, and we are all going to inevitably be the change that we want to see manifest. It’s time we stop waiting for the system to change and start changing it ourselves directly through lifestyle decisions and community actions. I encourage people to check out the following video with the hopes that it can help empower you to start changing your own area of influence. This is just the beginning and the idea is for people to take this information and expand upon it, so that it continues to grow into something more beautiful and intelligent. Please check the show notes of the video for ways to connect with Derrick and his work. His ideas and material are something worth sharing!

What’s Really Going On Under The Hood Of The Marijuana Movement: “Big Marijuana,” GMOs and Hemp
By now, most people are at least partially familiar with the Marijuana Movement and how it has grown from something of a taboo and its illegality, to something that is both accepted and becoming legal. Just ten years ago, most people would have thought this was crazy, but now it has become somewhat of the norm, as people’s perceptions are slowly changing. However, most people hear the word legalization and see many states are implementing these policies into law, so the conversation often stops there. It’s as if they believe the movement has been completed and its mission has been accomplished. Unfortunately, this seems hardly the case, in that the Marijuana Movement is evolving into something much more complex and sticky as we move into the future. // // The problem is that, under the hood development of just how legalization is going to work and be structured, is happening away from the public eye and hardly getting talked about even in the alternative media. With that being said, The Last American Vagabond wanted to take the time to go a bit deeper into the Marijuana Movement and explore just how the movement has evolved from its beginning days. To discuss this topic with me is none other than the founder of The Last American Vagabond, Ryan Cristián. Hopefully this video will open the eyes of the people to the current battles we are going to be up against and realize that if we stop now we will be selling ourselves very short of the true goal of freedom. Hopefully this can spark the conversation because these issues are not going away anytime soon.
