Inside the DV Drama Room

We love it when our alumni come back and visit, and this week, we welcome back one of the strongest actors to come through the DV Drama program, Zeina! This week, Zeina talks about her time in the program, how she persisted after not being cast after her first audition, and ponders the new adventures that await her as she prepares to head down to UCLA soon.

Welcome back for another episode! This week we are speaking with another graduate of the class of 2026 that didn't do a podcast during their senior year. This week we welcome Ryan! Ryan is one of those students who joined the drama program halfway through his senior year and was able to do one show with our program, but that show made quite an impression. Speaking of impressions, just take a listen as Ryan talks about the production experience and the impression that he incorporated into his character. School has finally started and we are back to recording interviews with our Advanced Theatre Arts Students! Before we start interviewing our current seniors, there was a member of the Class of 2026 that was never interviewed due to scheduling conflicts. Raya was a Drama Officer last year as well as playing a role in Urinetown: The Musical! Join us as we learn about her thoughts about her time at Dougherty, what she will miss about the Drama Program, and what she plans on doing as she heads off to college!

We are back for another year of Inside the DV Drama Room! This is a special episode, not only because we recorded it before the school year started, but it also features a first! We did an an interview with siblings that went through the program together! Join us as we learn what it was like to be so close to each other and go through the program at the same time! We're looking forward to another great year of DVHS Drama and hope that you will continue to support our program!
